After breakfast, Harry returned to his room to finish reading his letters. He picked up the one from Hermione and started to read.

Dear Harry,
Happy Birthday! I hope that you are well. Look, I know that you miss Sirius. I do too. But I know you and you are undoubtedly blaming yourself. Don't. It wasn't your fault. Onto a happier note, my parents have agreed to let you come and stay with me for the rest of the summer. Send Hedwig back with your answer ASAP and we'll come and get you at 3:00

Love
Hermione.

Harry smiled. He immediately sent Hedwig back to Hermione with his answer. He read the school owl's letter and then packed. He hurried downstairs to tell the Dursley's.

"Uncle Vernon, my friend will be coming to pick me up around 3:00." Harry said. Uncle Vernon looked downright alarmed.

"I will not have my fireplace blown up again." He said

"No. This is my other friend. Her parents are normal. They will be arriving by car." Harry quickly explained. Vernon nodded and returned to his paper. Harry went back upstairs and waited until 3:00 o'clock came.

The doorbell rang at exactly 3:00. Harry answered the door. As soon as opened it, his jaw dropped. Hermione was there, but she looked different. Her hair was perfectly straight, with light brown streaks in it. She had perfectly defined curves. She was absolutely gorgeous!

"Hermione!" Harry exclaimed. She threw her arms around him and he swung her around.
