A/N: Erm. Right! Don't own! (Tee hee, we don't own Tolkien.)

Sorry about the random LOTR inserts here.

The world has changed.

There are new wars that you couldn't imagine. Your stories wouldn't be the same if you knew them.

Much that once was is now forgotten.

It seemed your books had only been for fourth grade reading stories. Until. . .

It all began with the forging of the Great Rings of Power.

Your One Ring, spanned from what you knew, was made into a movie. A movie that everyone in the country, nay the world, talked about. People read your books again for they couldn't wait another year to see the next movie.

But they were, all of them, deceived.

Only a select few, known as Tolkienologists, knew why you wrote these stories and how. And only they would know that you died on this day about 30 years ago.

Only they know. . . You wrote the book for peace because you knew of the hard times of war.

And yet. . . we're still fighting. Fighting for peace against a new Sauron.

Happy Death Day John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. You will not be forgotten.

CHA! That turned out better in our minds.

DM: My facts could be off, I got this off of some Tolkien essay site.

Didn't need to downgrade all you non-book people.

Now review! Shadow, great over- whoops! Wrong account. Review or you will have to deal with a very ANGRY demon!
