Rain: I don't own Sailor Moon or the song.

Serena walked home from school, she knew she should be happy, she had just gotten her report card back and there were nothing but b's and a's on there.

That practice with Amy was really helping although full nights of sleep didn't hurt. There hadn't been any monsters since Galexia. She brought her hand up to brush her hair out of her face and caught sight of ring she quickly shoved her hand in her pocket.

Makin' my way down town

Walking fast

Faces pass and I'm homebound

She was actually happy for him. Harvard had always been his dream. So she had exploited that happiness to cover her face when he turned to her one last time.

Starin' blankly ahead

Just makin' my way

I'm makin' a way

Through the crowd

She had given him the starlockett and kissed him goodbye. Her last words to him had been "don't forget me". She knew it was cheesy, but she had truly felt like he would forget her.

And I need you

And I miss you

And now I wonder

She looked at the sky. It was a beautiful blue-purple that reminded her of Pluto's portal. She wondered if he was so far away that even Pluto could not reach him.

If I could fall into the sky

Do you think time would pass me by

Cause you know I'd walk a thousand miles

If I could just see you tonight

She hissed out between her teeth. /Get it together girl/ she thought /he'll come back, you only have to wait another year./ Her heart hurt at the thought, but, though it had taken a while, she had learned to listen to her head.

It's always times like these

When I think of you

And I wonder if you ever think of me

Oh, god, this was hard. She needed music, loud enough to blot out her thoughts.

Cause everything's so wrong

And I don't belong

In your precious memory

She started to run.

Cause I need you

And I miss you and now I wonder

If I could fall into the sky

Do you think time would pass me by

Cause you know I'd walk a thousand miles

If I could just see you... tonight

She couldn't believe that even now, with him this far away, she still loved him.

And I, I don't want to let you know

I, I drown in your memory

I, I don't want to let this go

I, I don't...

She slowed down and caught a glimpse of herself in the window and sighed. Her face was completely blank, her eyes were like twin blue voids. Strange when all she felt like doing was cry.

Makin' my way down town

Walking fast

Faces pass and I'm homebound

She quickened her pace again when she heard thunder, she didn't want to be caught in the rain.

Starin' blankly ahead

Just makin my way

I'm makin' a way

Through the crowd

That night before she crawled in bed she caught sight of her favorite picture of him, Darien had just takin' a bite of her latest batch of cookies that she actually to make correctly. It was the only time she had ever seen him, truly surprised.

And I still need you

And I still miss you

And now I wonder.
