"James I said no!" Lily rolled her eyes as she walked to her next class.
"You don't mean it Lils!" James ran in front and blocked her way.
"Yes James I do! I know it must be hard for you. I know every girl would
give their wand arm just to have one date with you but I'm not like that!"
Lily dodged past him and carried on walking.
"I know. That's why I'm asking you!"
"For the last time Potter NO!" Lily walked into her classroom and sat down.
James hovered in the doorway.
"Well if you change your mind,"
"I wont," muttered Lily.
"You know where to find me!"
"I know," Lily rolled her eyes, a small smile creeping on her face.
"Potter, stop harassing my students and be on your way!" Professor
McGonagol shut the door on James' face.
James Potter turned around. "What is with that girl?" he shook his head
with disbelief and re-ruffled his already messy hair.
"She has taste!" Sirius punched his best friend in the arm. James turned
around and slapped the top of his head. Soon they were in a friendly punch
up. James had just got Sirius in a headlock when Albus Dumbledore, their
headmaster walked down the corridor.
"Do you not have classes?" Dumbledore looked down upon the two young men.
"Revision time sir," Sirius choked, he was still in James' headlock.
"Then shouldn't you be revising?" James let go of Sirius and headed for the
library.
"What is it with you and Evans anyway?" Sirius asked as he sat down with a
very large book entitled "Poisonous Potions and how not to use them,"
"She's so different from everyone else. The way she acts, her kindness, her
voice."
"Her body!"
"Damn right!" James agreed. "But she refuses to go out with me."
"Have you asked her why?" Sirius asked.
"No," James flicked through Sirius' book. "Maybe it's because she wants to
go out with someone her own age, or in her own house. I don't know,"
"Maybe she hates your guts,"
"What?!?" James' eyes widened in disbelief.
"Prongs my main man. She hates you. That's all there is to it. Get past
that and she's in the bag!" Sirius winked and yanked the book from James'
grasp.
"Now if you don't mind I have some important research to do. Snivellus
won't poison himself you know," Sirius chuckled deeply at his own crack at
Severus Snape and flicked through the book, smiling to himself.
