Kai opened the front door of his school and walked out, ready to leave for good. He jumped the fence and raced to the dirt road. It was a silent night, only his footsteps and a few crickets were heard. Kai's thoughts were starting to turn. "Gone, finally free. Free from those idiots." He walked slowly toward town.
Kai's only relative, his grandfather, was sent to jail a few months before. Kai's only option was to go to a boarding school for boys. He was on his own now, the way he liked it. However, one fan came between Kai's peaceful retreat into the dark. The fan wanted to know all about Kai; his past, present, future and most of all Dranzer. Not much longer a letter from a girl arrived at Kai's room. It concealed a shot poem titled 'Flaming Hearts'. Moments after Kai fled his school with only a few belongings and his key to life.
Dranzer warmed Kai's hand as he walked down the road. Snow was the last thing Kai wanted to see but it still snowed. He glanced at his hand. There sat his beyblade with a small piece holding the phoenix bit beast. That was Dranzer, Kai's key.
Faint words whispered in the wind. "They shall never part, They are bound by their hearts. Destiny will take hold, No longer shall you be cold." The voice was soft, soothing, caring. Kai turned around and saw a young female standing before him. "Bonded souls, Kai and Dranzer."
"How.. Do you know those words?" Kai questioned the girl.
"Summer Fox." the girl pointed to herself.
"You wrote that poem.." Kai looked up at the clouds and watched the snow fall. "You were the one who reminded me about Dranzer." The girl grabbed hold of Kai's hand and watched the snow fall with him. Kai quickly freed his hand from the girls grip and walked away, silent as ever.
Side Notes: Kai isn't very himself ^^;;; my bad.
