Lily smiled and called across the Common Room:

"Prongs, Padfoot, come and see what old Moony's got himself into."

In the bodies of seventeen-year-olds, James Potter and Sirius Black abandoned their game of Wizard Chess and crossed the Common Room to where Lily Evans was standing, next to a small pool of mist. The Common Room was almost deserted as it was the early hours of Saturday morning, but there was also the fact that this was the Other Hogwarts.

Lily green eyes gently reflected some of the light that was being given off by the pool. James looked down and saw something that made his heart skip a beat- Remus Lupin, one of his three best friends from his true school days. Sirius too felt his heart stop and then start again, racing several times faster than usual.

Remus Lupin looked very much the same as had been remembered by their true bodies, and of course they had been watching from this spot ever since they left their other bodies behind.

Lupin was sitting at a table in a large kitchen. A fire was spitting red and gold sparks and sitting across from him was a slightly plump witch with shoulder- length red hair.

Sirius grinned:

"Grimmauld Place… Trust me, there's a reason it has that name…" James and Lily looked up at him, slight interest playing their faces. Sirius looked back down into the misty pond and pondered aloud: "Wonder why Molly and Lupin are sitting there at that time at four thirty in the morning…"

"Probably something for the Order…" James replied with little enthusiasm, eyes glued downwards.

"Remus, it's just that Sirius… He was one of the bravest men ever- he was intelligent, he was loyal, and he even gave us the house we are sitting in right now." And with that she broke into tears.

"I never knew she cared…" Sirius mumbled, guilt biting at the back of his mind, only to be hissed and shushed at by his two companions.

"I know- he was one of my best friends since we were eleven, but Molly, he wouldn't want this to happen," Molly looked up, "He wouldn't want me and you to be sitting down here at- what time is it? Four o clock? Five o clock? But anyway, he wouldn't want us sitting here and you to be in tears over him."

"Although I won't deny that it IS nice to know…" Sirius retorted to get two glares.

"But… It's not just that." Molly began.

"I knew it." Sirius muttered.

Molly's hands clenched and unclenched on the table in front of her- she was feeling thirteen again, trying to admit her true feeling to her crush, and that unmistakable thought of being crushed. But this was different. She wasn't sure if she liked him. Sure, he was always there for her, he was always her shoulder to cry on, he always helped to keep the house in order and was good with the teenagers. However, now she was married, so nothing could be simple. Marriage, she thought, marriage is supposed to be something to cherish, giving you someone to turn to whenever things are wrong, and to support you in times of need. This was a time of need.

But did she see Remus Lupin as anything more than a colleague and a friend?

Warmth spread suddenly over her hand as Remus placed his own over hers.

"You can tell me anything." He whispered. This was starting to seem more like her days as a teenager. Why was she doing this? She had lived in silence for years, why break the silence with even a whisper?

"This must be like a vellytision." James commented.

"That would be a television…" Lily corrected.

"Fine…"

"I just…" Molly pulled her hands away and stood up, head bowed and walked to the door leading to the hall. "It's just been a long night. Good night Remus…"
