Riku and Kairi walked outside. Kairi was leading Riku, although he seemed to be used to the terrain of the island enough that he didn't need it. Riku held out his arm, stopping Kairi. "Do you have a blindfold?" He asked.

"Yeah, at home." Kairi said. She got the idea and ran to get it, making sure Riku was placed on the beach comfortably.

Sora walked up to Riku and waved. Riku just stared into the ocean. Sora then remembered, thanks to his gray, cloudy eyes, that he was blind. "Um, hi Riku." He said.

"Hi Sora." Riku said. "How's the weather?"

"How do you-" Sora remembered again. "Cloudy. And damp."

Kairi returned with a black handkerchief. She handed it to Riku and he wrapped it around his eyes.

"Why'd you do that?" Kairi asked.

"Makes people uncomfortable." Riku said.

Sora lowered his head.

"It's OK, we'll find true friendship." Sora said.

"Yeah, I mean, we have pretty darned close to true, don't we?" Kairi added.

Riku's face scowled with despair. "If you say so."

"Whuddaya mean?" Sora asked.

"Well, I guess I haven't been truly honest with you guy's about everything, and I know you've kept secrets from me."

"Well, let's tell each other then. What haven't we been true about?" Kairi said.

"I love you." Both boys said at the same time.

Kairi giggled. "I love you guys too."

"Wow, would you look at that sunset." Sora said, noticing it for the first time. Riku hung his head. "I'm so sorry." Sora said.

"It's OK." Riku said, as he headed back towards home. "Hey guys, I may need your help."

Sora and Kairi ran over to him and took his arms, leading him back towards the raft home . . .
