A/N and Disclaimer: ... It took me days to get around to writing this. And it's only an excerpt! Pretty much just a 'what-do-you-think-should-I-continue?' thing. And yeah. I don't own.

"A church..." He said, slightly amused, "I'm in a church."
Shielding his eyes from the strangely bright lights, he looked around to see if anyone else was there.
"No one."
He could hear voices, or faint imitations in the air, but that was it. Through the thinning mist, all he could see was an empty church.
The voices grew louder, and he spun around to see transparent people, older versions of some he knew. They were talking, laughing, not noticing him standing there, watching them in slight confusion.
"What the hell is this?"
As he spoke, he noticed that his was the only voice he could properly hear. All the others - regardless of the volume - just came out as sounds, like a conversation heard from a distance.
He felt like a ghost.
Why couldn't they see him?
Why couldn't they hear him?
He growled in utter frustration, straining to hear at least a faintly recognisable sentence.
That was probably why he heard it so loud.
"I do."
And why the so familiar voice shocked him.

I'm planning on continuing this, regardless of whatever responses I get. But I'd like to know who you think this person is... and who the familiar voice is. If I've already told you, then you're not allowed to tell!
