Title: Would he ever love a pirate?
Author: Roz why_cant_eveything_orange_be_fanta_y2k3@hotmail.com
Pairing: Jack/Will sort of..
Rating: Urm, let's say PG-13
Summary: This island helps him think God damnit.
Disclaimer: I don't own Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann or anyone else for that matter. I'm too poor to be sued..so please don't. It all belongs to Disney.
Authors Note: This is my first Pirates fic so if it sucks, don't flame me..I bounced this off a friend and she said it was OK, so it's all her fault @_@
Don't kill her. That's right. Walk away. He has to walk away quickly before he kills one of them. The island isn't too small, he notes, but it certainly isn't big enough for the both of them. He wonders idly how the lad puts up with her. Moaning, control desperate wench that she is. But he knows the lad loves her, but he does not know why. The lad could have a better life with him he tells himself.
Wait.
What is he saying? He doesn't know. He doesn't want to know. The lad is happy with is moaning-control-desperate-wench and that's that. Why would he want to be with a pirate?
Because he is one.
He curses that little voice in his head as he makes his way up another sand dune. Bootstrap was a good man, but also a pirate. Like father like son he reminds himself. Yes. Like father like son.
He sees the white sails a lot closer than he would have liked. This island helps him think God damnit.
As he climbs the rope ladder onto the ship, knowing he will probably spend the rest of the journey in some pokey little jail cell, he vows to himself to ask that lad if he would ever love a pirate.
