Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or any of it's characters. If I did a
certain someone would never have died and I would be making money off the
wazoo and not sitting here writing Fanfiction for zilch.
This is my first shot at posting fanfiction so please, no flames. If
you want to diss my writing just please give me constructive critisism to
back your thoughts. Anyway, this is a short poem I wrote about Sirius the
night of his escape. No Order of the Phoenix spoilers...I'm pretty sure
anyway...so it's safe to all those who haven't read it,(which you should,
what are you waiting around for!?!) Please read, review, and enjoy. :)

Condemned to a life in hell,
For twelve years you sat silent in your shadowed cell.
Torn from your feelings,
Never again feeling bliss,
Only the approaching cold of a dementor's kiss.
Though broken you're still proud,
Now you're free from Azkaban's dark shroud.
You feel a life in you you've never felt before,
Seeing the forgotten trees and leaves.
They could never keep you locked behind a door,
After all, this ol' dog still has some tricks up his sleeves...
Looking on...you're thoughts drift to light upon,
Those dear that you have lost,
leaving your heart to frost.
Trying so hard to tell yourself they're gone,
the sky grows light, it will soon be dawn...
Hanging your head, contemplating on those dead,
You find the strength to smile,
something you haven't done in a while...
"You may have betrayed Lily and James," you bitterly said, "but you'll
never touch Harry, once you're dead."
Smiling grimly, you take your flight,
and Padfoot once more steps into the light...

Hmmmm...who do ya think he might have been talking to? Anyway, I hope
you enjoyed this. My first shot at a Harry Potter poem,so if you like it
I'll try to post more and possibly some stories my friend and I write. :)
Thanks for reading, don't forget to drop a review on your way out...
