She's Got You
The song is sung by Patsy Cline. I do not own the song nor Sailor Moon.
The room was dark, with a few scattered candles around the place. The flickering light bounced off the walls, making the room seem so much darker then actually providing light.
I sat on the darkened end of the couch, a framed picture of you in my hands. You were smiling the day it was taken. It was a photo taken for your senior pictures. You were laying down in a bed that had a soft pink comforter on it. Under your head, you were hugging a pillow so you could look at the camera and smile that angelic but devlish smile of yours, your golden hair undone from its usual style and fanned out around you.
And at the bottom of the pic, you wrote your messy yet beautiful hand writting, 'I love you! xoxox, Usako'
~The only thing different
The only thing new
I've got your picture
She's got you~
I sighed and sat the picture down so I could easily see it on the coffee table and leaned into the couch.
In the background, my mind registered the music playing. The songs were from cds and tapes you had left at my place from all the times you came by and never bothered to take back home with you.
~The only thing different
The only thing new
I've got the records
She's got you~
I close my eyes, running my hand back thru my hair. I see you behind my tired eyes. Smiling your impish smile, looking so much like an angel.
I see you run up to me, taking my hand then start to run, dragging me along behind you. Your laugh echos in my mind, reminding me of what was and how much its changed.
~I've got your memory
Or has it got me?
I really don't know
But I know
It won't let me be~
I open my shirt and lightly finger the chain around my neck, my fingers finding a small ring thast on the chain. You were always weird and the day you got your class ring, you gave it to me in exchange for mine. You said it was to prove that we were friends as well as lovers.
~I've got your class ring
That proved you cared
And it still looks the same
As when you gave it dear
The only thing different
The only thing new
I've got these little things
She's got you~
Somewhere in Tokyo, two figures snuggled deeply into a warm bed, happy and content to be with one another.
As they laid there in peace and quiet, the smallest of the two began to sneeze.
"Bless you, angel," said a girl with violet eyes.
The small girl sneezed again, then looked up at her lover, blue eyes heavy from the tears as she sneezed. "Tha-*sneeze!* Thank you!"
Rei smiled, petting Usagi's hair from her face. "Are you catching a cold, love?"
Usagi snuggled into Rei's side. "I feel fine, except for my sneezing." Usagi looked up at Rei, and smirked. "Maybe I'm allergic to you." Usagi winked then giggled.
Rei giggled also, pulling Usagi closer. "Maybe someone's thinking about you."
Usagi blinked. "Now, who on Earth would be thinking of me this late?"
