Dis: not mine, belongs to tolkien, etc, no harm intended, no money being
made, just for fun.
Note: This is kinda a companion piece to 'Waiting' it could really be an
epilogue, but it already has one of them so I've just decided to put this
up as a lone fic. It can be read alone, but ti makes so much sense if it's
read after 'waiting', which another short fic.
---------------------- Poor Erestor ----------------------
Mary Sue looked around, oh! All these wonderful elves! Look at that blond! And that one! And there, Legolas! Right, she could have them all! Mary Sue looked to Legolas, she didn't need much power for this one, seemed the prettier they were the more susceptible to her powers they were. Perhaps it was just they'd been affected by so many Mary Sues that their defences had fallen. Mary Sue quickly dismissed that idea, more like her? She was unique!
The nice blonde...he seemed to need very few powers...ah, a glance filled with meaning and powers would nab him. She caught the elves eyes...one down...
The next elf, he was revered, perhaps she would better do some of these with notes. First of all she needed the names of these elves, quick, an elf maid. "Who is that?" Mary Sue snapped as she grabbed a passing elleth rather roughly.
Silme looked up at the woman, girl, beast. They were always arriving and accosting the poor male residents of Imladris, this one was particularly vicious. The thing was pointing at Glorfindel, "'Tis Glorfindel." She said, trying to hide the bitterness of her tone. The Mary Sue pointed out another elf, "He is Silinde". The thing pointed at Galdor, as usual drinking, "Galdor." The Mary Sue seemed about done, suddenly, she paused. Something had caught her eye.
Mary Sue looked at the elf with the mostly beautiful face she had ever seen, bar Legolas, "Who is THAT?!" She exclaimed to the elleth trying to escape.
Silme's blood boiled, Figwit...her Figwit, they always picked on him! She sighed, she was beginning to feel sorry for Erestor yet she still did what she always did. "He is Erestor." Once a name is locked in these beasts, they go after the name, forgetting everything else, almost like a targeting system. Silme shrugged, at least her Figwit was safe.
The Mary Sue was carefully plotting, the one called Galdor seemed to be enjoying the wine, right, leave a bottle for him with a note to come to my rooms. Glorfindel, promise a surprise, her Mary Sue instincts told her. Legolas, she would woo him in a minute, the nice blonde was taken care of, what did the girl say his name was? Silly? Silinda? Silinde. And lastly, the lovely elf, the one with the beautiful brown hair...Erestor. He was almost more beautiful than Legolas. Mary Sue sighed. A note to him as well.

A poor unsuspecting Erestor looked around, why did he have that feeling like all of the evil in Mordor had its eyes focussed on him alone?
