Disclaimer: I don't own them, nor do I own Mossflower.
Grey and BrownFlowering hedgerows,
Murmurous streams,
Bright coloured gardens,
Still forests dream.
Long rolling flatlands,
Deep hidden mines,
Tall elven arbors,
Sharp-scented pines.
Bright eyes twinkling,
Brown as a nut,
Friend to all creatures,
From hawk to duck.
Eyes full of laughter,
Robed all in grey,
Pipe-weed for smoking,
A wandering stray.
Radagast brown-cloak,
Gandalf grey-hame,
Immortal wizards,
Of uncertain fame.
Companionship long,
Friendship so deep,
Best friends and lovers,
The other they keep.
Their long task over,
They sail away,
Over the ocean,
To end of day.
We leave you now,
As we wing on,
Our journey yet must be,
Where sky and water meet in line,
And sun drowns in the sea.
Notes: Last verse stolen shamelessly from Brian Jacques' 'Mossflower'. It just fit so well.
