What "Could" Have Happened
This story is about what could have happened if Frodo gave Galadriel the
ring. What a WOMAN would do in this situation.
"Why me?" Frodo thought as he stood in the path of Galadriel's mirror. Galadriel walked over to him. "When you look into the mirror..."She said, "...What will I see?" He replied while she filled a pitcher with water from a glistening waterfall. "Even the wisest of men cannot tell, for the mirror shows many things. Things that were, things that are, and some things, that have not yet come to pass." She said while pouring the water into a bowl that sat on a pedestal. The mirror. Frodo walked up to it and looked in. he saw the fellowship. Then he saw Orcs, winning, destroying middle earth. And last, he saw the eye. The great eye wreathed with flame. It was speaking in black tongs, calling the ring that hung around Frodo's neck. It pulled him in, trying to return the ring to its self. Frodo clutched the ring and fell backwards onto the ground, the mirror billowing smoke. "I know what it is you saw." She said, "For it is also in my mind. It is what will come to pass if you are to fail. The fellowship is breaking. He will try to take the ring. One by one they will fall." She said to Frodo. "If you ask it of me, I will give you the one ring." He said holding it out to her. "Finally, thank God." She said and took the ring from him. She got on her horse, rode to Mordor, fought and killed all the Orcs, Went straight to the fire of Mt. Doom and threw the ring into the fire. She then returned to Lothlorien and all was saved.
The moral of the story: Never send men to do a woman's job.
