Author's Notes: This poem was written of course about Spike, for all the
people who have closely watched Buffy. If you have then you know exactly
what I mean, when I don't explain things fully, its a poem not a story,
therefore I'm not obligated to explain everything, for example, if you
don't know why I used the quote "I'd rather have a railroad spike driven
through my head," then this poem was not for you, That was an insult made
about his poetry, and if you didn't know he was a poet before he was a
vampire, I can't help you. Another thing I want to make clear, I did change
some of the quotes I used to make it flow together, so please note that I
got the basic gist of what the person was trying to say.

William the Bloody, a failing poet
Was destined for more but didn't yet know it.
His poems were taken and out loud they were read,
"I'd rather have a railroad spike driven through my head"
Little did they know, the insults they sneered,
Would be the death they all learn to fear.
For William the Bloody because of their spite,
Would be the vampire we all know as Spike.
With two vampire slayers under his belt,
and a weakened Drusilla who needed some help,
With his windows blacked out to Sunnydale they rode.
Where they met the anointed who didn't look very old.
The Anointed had a problem a slayer in fact,
and Spike? Well, he knew how to handle that.
Through the windows he burst during conference night.
There he saw Angelus who just wasn't right.
Helping the Slayer? What could he do?
He ordered his Vampires to kill the two.
After searching for the slayer in hall after hall,
The slayer's voice he finally heard call.
They threw down their weapons and began a fight,
Which was beginning to look in favor of Spike.
Suddenly Spike was hit by another,
When he looked up there was her mother.
"My daughter you will leave the hell alone,"
exclaimed the mother in an angry tone.
"Women!" he growled then jumped out the window.
'You'll be seeing me soon' was his innuendo.
Back to the anointed, who he knew would be mad,
But what did he care? There was fun to be had.
Into a cage, the anointed he threw,
the sun burned the child and caused much ado.
"No more ritual!" William exclaimed,
"More fun we will have, during my reign,"
Though there are many creatures of the night,
William the Bloody has the most bite.
