Just another Lazy Day

Summertime in Port Charles was hot in more ways then one.

Jack and Holly had become the best of friends since the say they met almost a year ago.

However, there was one little flaw, Jack and Holly were secretly in love with each other.

Holly went to the bar because of Jack, but she liked it there.

Holly went to the bar to get into some air conditioning; it was over 90 degrees outside. Of course who did she see when she got there? Jack.

Jack smiled as she walked up to the counter.

" Hey," Jack said.

" Hey yourself," Holly said.

" Hot out there?" Jack asked.

" Over 90 degrees," Holly answered.

" But it's cool in here," Jack said, " Care for a cold one?"

" No," Holly answered, " Jack you know I don't drink."

" Live for once," Jack said.

" And die young," Holly said, " Forget it."

" I love the way you think," Jack said, " You are so responsible."

" And you are so sexy," Holly said.

Holly then realized what she said and ran out the door.

A few hours later, Holly sat in the park frustrated and upset with herself.

" Jack will see right through you," Holly said to herself.

" Are you okay?" she heard.

Holly looked up to see Jack.

" Jack," Holly said.

" I was worried about you," Jack said, " You ran out so fast."

" I'm sorry," Holly said, " I didn't mean to say what I said earlier."

" You didn't?" Jack questioned, " I thought you meant it."

" I do," Holly said, " I mean.."

" Holly," Jack said," I believe you."

" What if I told you I think you're more than that?" Holly asked.

" Such as?" Jack asked.

" I think all of you is great," Holly admitted.

" You're making it more hot out here," Jack said stepping closer to her.

" You make me weak," Holly said.

" You are so adorable," Jack said.

" So are you," Holly said.

Jack stepped closer to her and Holly stepped back so much she ran into the tree.

" Don't hurt yourself," Jack said.

Jack stared down at Holly.

" You're shaking," Jack said.

" You make me nervous," Holly said.

" I can solve that," Jack said backing up.

" I thought you were going to kiss me?" Holly said.

" Do you want me to?" Jack asked.

" More than you know," Holly answered.

Jack just stared at her and stepped closer.

" Why are you staring at me that way?" Holly asked.

" When I first met you, you were such a mystery," Jack said, " I know almost everything about you."

" What else would you like to know?" Holly asked.

Jack answered her question and his curiosity by placing a kiss on her.

Holly then pushed him away.

" What?" Jack asked.

" Let's not start something we can't finish," Holly said.

" We could always go somewhere we can finish it," Jack suggested.

" Not now," Holly said.

Holly then walked away.

" Just another lazy day in Port Charles," Jack told himself.
