Story: Mine.

****************************************************************

Max was quite upset when Logan bailed out on her.

She knew that something was not right.

However, she didn't want to intrude.

She went over to her crib.

Original Cindy wasn't home yet.

Max went into her bedroom, got her journal, yeah, yeah, she keeps a journal, which happens to be a hand held mini computer.

She put her mini comp. In her knapsack and got on her motorcycle and took off.

She went up to her usual solitary spot, which happens to be a rooftop of the tallest building in the city.

She sat herself down, opened up her knapsack and took out her journal, which recognizes the user with their DNA profile, voice, and a code.

If a wrong person gets hold of it, it will shut itself down until the right person puts a special code.

Logan gave her for her birthday.

A person can use the comp in two ways, by typing or saying.

Max uses the latter, which is more convenient, if you ask me.

Max has been keeping a journal ever since her escape from Manticore.

She stored all the ten years worth of her life into the comp the same night she received the gift.

The following are the contents of her journal.

"Hi, it's me again. I'm really pissed off right now. I cannot believe that he did that. Logan gave me a rain check for our dinner. I know that it's not a date, however I was looking forward to that dinner whole week. Gee, I'm getting pretty pathetic right now. Original Cindy thinks that there is something going on between Logan and I. I never fell in love before, so I wouldn't know the symptoms if I do ever. She also thinks that Logan is into me. It might be possible. I care about him a lot. I guess I'm in love with him. When I thought that he was gonna die, I felt like that my heart was getting ripped out of my chest. He is an amazing guy. I guess that is why when he bailed out on me, I was angry. That settles it, I do love Logan. He is worth waiting for. When he is ready, I know that he will tell me what is really going on with him. In meanwhile, I will just have to be patient and wait for him to come around to tell me what is bothering him."
