"So what, you're saying you've got feelings for Ater?"
"Yeah, your point being?"
"Blitz, you're a screwball, you know that?"
"Oh come off it, Pat. You know I like her, you've know it for ages."
"Yeah, but...Are you actually serious this time? I remember the last time you said you liked her you tried to lure us all to the Charms classroom so you could jinx us."
"Oh shut up." Blitz said, rising from his chair and running a hand through his wayward hair. "That was in the second year, ages ago. Anyways, what's wrong with me liking her, it's not like I'm going to use her in my fiendish plot to take over the world." He said with a grin.
"You know you will.." Pat said, throwing her schoolbag over her shoulder and straightening her robes. "Now, we've got Potions and unless we hurry up Snape will have the uncanny pleasure of burying us under an enormous mound of homework."
"Again."
"Again, correct. Remember the last time?"
"No."
"Good. Now let's go."
Blitz reluctantly threw his bag over his shoulder and walked behind Patricia as they headed down into the dungeons towards Potions, his hand clutching his wand as he was half-expecting to be ambushed by the Slytherins and sure enough, one of the."nastier" specimens of Slytherin house decided to duel Blitz right in the middle of the corridor.
Blitz and the Slytherin stood either end of the potions corridor, wands at their side while a Gryffindor held Blitz's bag and a Slytherin held the other duellists. They raised their wands at the same time, and as the Slytherin cried 'Tarantallegra', Blitz shot a quick wink at the Marauders and cried "Protego!" The Slytherin's dancing curse was reflected right back at him and he wobbled out of sight down another passage while the rest of the students erupted into fits of laughter. Blitz stowed his wand back into his robe and turned to the Marauders with a grin on his face, only to be met by Snape who gave a sly grin and handed him a piece of parchment.
"Detention, Mr. Starfire. No duelling in the corridors."
"Crap." Blitz moaned as he sat down at the back of the class with Ater and the other Marauders. "I didn't deserve that. I mean, I've been duelling in corridors all year and no-ones cared before."
"Probably because you'd hex half of them before they could get a sentence out?" Ater added with a hint of sarcasm.
"You can talk, Ms. Let's-Bring-A-Muggle-To-Hogwarts" he muttered, throwing ingredients into his cauldron.
"Hey, that wasn't MY fault the spell backfired!" Ater cried so loud that half the class turned around and glared at her.
"Detention for you as well, Ms. Black. Now there will be no talking unless you all want to join Ms. Black and Mr. Starfire tomorrow evening."
Blitz and Ater shrugged and shot each other a grin before grinning at the rest of the Marauders and carrying on with their potion-making in silence.
