His face was so close to hers. She could almost feel his breathing right on her lips. Her eyes slowly opened and the first thing she saw was the dark blue iris that was Roxas' eyes. Her whole body relaxed at the touch of his hands, no, melted at his hold.

"Naminé…" he muttered. His soft hand softly stroked the side of her face, tucking away a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear. A smile crept up the corener of his lips.

"I would say this view would be better, but I think regardless, you will always look beautiful to me," he smiled. Naminé opened her mouth, she wanted to say something, but none came out. Panic gripped onto her face for a split second until Roxas put his forehead on hers.

"It's fine," he breathed, "Don't worry,". Her heart skipped beat as his face got closer.

"Naminé…"

She closed her eyes, awaiting the moment of bliss she wanted the moment she set foot into this dream.

Wait….dream?

The ringing of her alarm had never been so annoying to her as the sound caused her to open her eyes. It took a few seconds of her mind to process everything was just in her head. Wait, was she annoyed that she woke up?

Her eyes widened as she suddenly recalled the dream. Her face slowly turned red and she slapped her hands over them, getting under the covers to hide away the embarrassment that was filling up her entire soul at that very moment. The loud knocking of her door got her attention.

"Naminé wake up! You're going to be late for school!" her mother's voice called out from behind the door. She heard footsteps which indicated she was off to continue to do her chores since Naminé's breakfast was already on the table. She sighed as she pushed the covers away and got off the bed, grabbed her towels and uniform and went for the bathroom to start her day.

She silently hummed to the beat of her music that was playing from her phone via earpiece. She won't deny the joy of listening to her music, it helps remove all the distractions around, especially since she was on the road where many students were walking to school right now. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see multiple students already staring at her, some were murming stuff about her but she ignored it.

After all, this was something she was practically used to already. Just another year of high school then it was off to college, where the whole process may or may not happen.

Although, today was a bit…. off. She knew it was normal to get stares and murmurs but at this point, no one bothered trying to hide it. It even caused her to look up from the ground, although she couldn't exactly hear what they were talking about thanks to her earpiece.

When all of a sudden she thought she felt a tap on her shoulder.

That's weird, no one would ever try to talk to her. She just ignored it and continued walking until she felt another tap. She turned behind and saw that no one was there. Weird. Maybe someone was just playing a prank on her. Sighing in exhaustion at the fact that it began this early in the day, she turned back forward and-

"BOO!" Roxas' goofy smile was the first thing she saw and it startled her, causing her to stumble backwards. She noticed headphones sitting around his neck.

"Sorry about that, I was behind you and you weren't paying attention at all so I couldn't resist the urge," he laughed.

Seeing his face instantly reminded her of the dream she had. Her face turned red just at the sight of him. He tilted his head in confusion.

"Hey something's wrong? You're face is turning red," he said as Naminé quickly shook her head as a sign to let him know that everything's fine. That was when she noticed something, Roxas? Alone? Where was Xion and Axel? Lucikly, Roxas seemed to be catching on after seeing her eyes wandering around him.

"Xion and Axel are going to be late today, they didn't really tell me much, just something about a cute puppy, but anyway enough about that! Let's head to class we're about to be-"

"Sora you are an asshole!" a voice cut him off. They both turned to see a student with spiky brown hair, still wearing the school uniform, but instead of a vest, he wore a red hoodie with the school blazer over it, running into the school doors.

"Scuse me!" he shouted.

"Get back here!" A girl ran after him, a girl with short red hair. Naminé blinked, she swore she saw them before.

"Ahh, Sora and Kairi are at it again," Roxas sighed.

"No shit," another voice came. Both of them turned to see a another student with short silver hair, holding three school bags. "We just wanted to stop by for some ice cream and the doofus accidentally ate Kairi's,"

"Wassup Riku," Roxas greeted. Riku smiled back at him and at Naminé.

"Nice to see you too and now if you'll excuse me, I have to go to make sure no one gets killed today," he said, "oh and if it isn't any more obvious, I'm Riku by the way," he greeted to Naminé and walked off.

Wait, was he always a student of the school? If he was, then…he wasn't creeped out by her- Oh right, he was a new student, alongside Roxas. She mentally facepalmed herself for forgetting that.

"Cool guy that dude," Roxas commented. "He's always with Sora and Kairi, it must suck playing the third wheel everytime," he snickered as he turned to Naminé.

"C'mon, we're going to be late for class if we don't start moving,"

Naminé gulp and nodded and she started walking towards the main entrance of the school along side Roxas, unaware (or probably aware, just that she didn't care) that people continued to stare at her, at the loner of the school walking with a friend.

The day went pass by like how it usually does every other day. And before she knew it, it was lunch time already. Naminé watched as everyone scurried out of the classroom with their respective groups. Majority of them had finally left the classroom and Naminé knew she wanted to just stay and work on her next sketch. Unfortunately hunger got the best of her but before she could stand up, someone had walked up to her.

"Hey you going to the cafeteria?" Roxas asked, his presence reminding her that he was in the same class as her.

Taken aback by his sudden question, it took a while for the blonde to nod, trying her best to hide her red face. He smiled back.

"Alrighty, shall we go?" he asked. His question heard by other students who remained in the room, heads slowly turned to them, going unnoticed by Roxas.

"What's wrong?" he asked, noticing that Naminé wasn't moving from her seat.

She didn't care if it was just her. She knew it was already normal, but for students to talk about Roxas just because he was talking to her? There was no need to drag him down along with her. She took out her sketchbook and wrote down a message.

'You can go ahead, I want to finish something off first' she wrote in her book. Roxas raised his eyebrows.

"Oh, you mean your next sketch? Then it's fine, I don't mind waiting you know?" he said as he grabbed a nearby chair and sat down. Naminé silently cursed in her mind, her plan backfired. She tried to think of a way to convince Roxas to go without when all of a sudden, the doors slid, accompanied by a loud noise.

"Roxas!" she heard as everyone turned their heads towards the door, seeing a brown spiky haired boy, the boy she saw earlier getting chased into the school.

"I missed you!" he called as he ran for the golden blonde and jumped, Roxas dodging instantly as she watched him jump into the wall….painfully with t hud.

"Oww…" he whined as he rubbed his head. "Is that really any way to treat your cousin like that?"

"You mean the cousin who's text and calls you never picked up when he first arrived here?" Roxas shot back.

"Touché"

"Anyway what do you want?"

"I request protection!" he put his hands together.

"What?"

"Where is he!" another voice appeared at the door that caused Roxas' cousin to let out a small 'yeep!'. It was the red haired girl, her eyes scanned the entire classroom until it finally landed on the cowering boy behind Roxas.

"There you are!" she stomped toward him.

"Kairi calm down!" he called out but it was no use. Her hands shot out and found her target; his ears, and started pulling on them, painfully.

"Oww ow ow!" he whined.

What just happened? Naminé thought to herself as she watched everything that just unfolded in front of her. Thankfully Roxas was there.

"Oh by the way, this is Sora," he pointed to the brown haired guy, "and Kairi," he motioned towards the girl.

"Hi!" Her face switched from anger, to a smile when she looked at Naminé, then back to anger.

"Otherwise known as Mom and Dad," Roxas snickered as Naminé swore she saw Kairi's face blushed for a slight second.

"Shut up!" he shouted at Roxas.

"Haven't you guys made enough trouble already?" another voice came in as they all saw Riku walking towards them, still holding their bags. "At this point I only moved here to be a bag carrier for you both,"

"I see you went from being the referee to a bag carrier," Roxas snickered as Riku sighed.

"Knock it off you guys," Riku said as Kairi turned towards him.

"I'll knock it off once this idiot learned his lesson about stealing something that's not his!" Kairi gritted his teeth as he pulled on Sora's ears more.

"I'm sorry!"

Naminé watched for a few minutes as the situation finally calmed down. The only that was on her mind during those moments is "What in the world just happened before her?". Was school life for her this hectic? It has been hectic for the past few days, or rather… ever since Roxas came.

Said person coughed. "So, everything good now?" he asked Sora who was rubbing his poor, red ears.

"Yes it is," he nodded as Kairi kicked him in the shin. "Ow! And I learned my lesson taking your food,"

Roxas laughed. "What flavour of ice cream did he take by the way?"

"Not sea-salt," Kairi replied almost immediately.

"What, Awww C'mon Kairi sea-salt ice cream is the best ice cream of all time!" he countered.

"And it's disgusting," she shot back.

"Damn it where are Axel and Xion when I need them to back me up," he cursed.

"And I'm pretty sure you three are the only ones I know that actually enjoy the taste,"

Roxas' head shot to Naminé. "That's where you're wrong my dear," he motioned towards the blonde, "For there is another that enjoys sea salt!" he spoke like a poet.

"Oh don't drag the poor girl into this mess!" Kairi shouted at him as her and Roxas continued their argument.

"Hey," Sora called out, catching her attention, "You really like Sea Salt Ice cream?" he asked.

Naminé hesitated, wondering why all of a sudden he would talk to her like that. She gulped and she nervously wrote down her answer on her book.

'It wasn't too bad' she wrote down.

He raised an eyebrow at her. Naminé's heart sank, she didn't want to see the look on Sora's face. He was probably weired out by the fact she just wrote down her words on a book instead of speaking them. She could already imagine the look that was probably on his face right now.

"Wasn't too bad… it's alright you don't have to sugar coat your words you know," Sora moved his head so that Naminé would see him and gave a goofy grin. His face was immedietly pushed down by Roxas.

"Her words, not mine!" Roxas laughed.

"Roxas what have you done! The last thing anyone needs is to go down the cursed Sea Salt Ice cream rabbit hole!" Sora joked back as they all laughed.

Naminé's lips trembled. Why were they joking like this, having fun like this when someone like her is around? They weren't disgusted or weirded out? Her eyes darted to Sora and Kairi, the students who weren't new to the school, but they still acted normal around her.

Something warm started to grow inside of her. She watched around her as they were all laughing and joking around as friends. Her hands went to her chest, maybe as way to calm the warm feeling down, but it wasn't bad,

In fact, she liked this feeling, it was…..comfortable. The ends of her mouth lifted up a little.

"Hey look! You finally smiled!" Sora exclaimed as Naminé blushed and quickly hid her face away.

But although how embarrassed she was right now, she could not deny the fact that maybe for the first time for awhile at school….

She was slowly feeling happy.

Sup, I'm back, if I'm not working on this story for awhile, I'm working on my other stories that's also on Wattpad lol.
