White found herself in an area that was more beautiful that any scenery she couldn't imagined. The grass glowed in a pretty green hue while colorful flowers bloomed everywhere. It was such a lovely sight. Next to her, was a large tree with pretty pink flowers sprouting out as the wind carried it's petals. She held her hand out as a small petal landed in the palm of her hand.
"Where is this place?"
She looked around, as much as it was a beautiful place, there was nothing else in sight.
"White..."
She heard a voice called out and tensed up. She knew that voice. She dropped the petal as it swayed gently in the air before falling onto the ground.
"White..."
She hastily looked around. "Black?" she called loudly, a feeling of hope slowly got her.
"White," she heard from behind and turned around and her heart stopped. Standing a few feet away from her, was her best friend, looking exactly like the day he was sucked into the White Stone. Wasting no time, White took off.
"Black!"
Her heart beat faster as she got closer and closer to her best friend. When she was finally in front of him, her arms spread out wide, about to envelope him in a big hug but to her shock, she went right through him.
"Huh?" was all she thought as she fell to the ground.
"Black?" she quickly turned around to see him still standing there.
"White,"
"Black," she called out as she stood up. She tried to reach for his hand, but her skin just passed through his. "What?"
"White, you need to wake up," he spoke.
"Black? What are you talking about? Where are you?" she desperately asked.
"You need to wake up White,"
Suddenly, the scenery transitioned into just a white void. White gasped as she looked around, she tried to hold onto Black and held her hand out, only for her to realise she was still holding air. Her vision of Black suddenly got smaller and smaller as his body started to float away.
"No...not again!"
White ran after Black's floating body.
"Come back!"
"Wake up White...wake up..."
"Wake up White!"
Her eyes shot open as she realized her body was shaking. The first thing she saw was Gold's worried look on his face. His hands were on her shoulder and she noticed how close his face was too her.
"Hey you alright?"
"KYA!"
A loud slapping sound was heard.
"S-Sorry..." White apologized with an embarrassed face.
Gold, who was now sitting in a cross legged position, grumbled. "Tell that to my face," he said, referring to his cheek with a fresh new hand mark.
"Ehehehe..." her laughter trailed off as she took a closer inspection at where she was right now. And the first thing she saw in front of her were bars, prison bars at that. There was not much in their prison, just her and Gold.
She touched her forehead, trying hard to remember what had happened. She suddenly gasped as the memory of the stadium being attacked and her falling for the Mismagius Hypnosis attack rushed into her head.
"W-Where are we..." her words trailed off as she remembered seeing the P on the attackers' uniforms. "P-Plasma..." She muttered quietly. The image of Black being sucked into the White Stone flashed in her head again as she shook.
Why was Team Plasma here? She thought they were inactive since Ghetsis was still nowhere to be seen. Yet, here they are still capturing pokemon or in this case, her, or whatever else they were up to.
"Hey, is Black his name?" Gold asked out of nowhere, catching White's attention at the mention of her friend's name. "You once said that you traveeled with an old friend, is that him?"
White didn't turn to look at him, she brought her legs close and hugged them. "Yeah, and I had to best time of my life travelling with him,"
"Where is he now?"
White's lips trembled. "He's..."
"Well I see our little prisoners are awake," a female voice chimed in. White and Gold turned towards a metal door which had just opened as a woman with long black hair walked in. She wore a purple dress with black fur lining across it, accompanied with a large, black hat with a conical crown and a wide brim. If anything, she almost looked similar to a witch. White widened her eyes, not at the woman, but at the Mismagius that was floating next to her.
"You!" White called out. "It was you who attacked the stadium!"
The woman scoffed. "That's Octavia to you missy!" she whipped out a fan and started fanning herself. White brought her hands down to her pokebelt, only to find out it wasn't there.
"Looking for these perhaps?" Octavia taunted, waving White and Gold's pokebelt up and down. It was then she noticed her Xtranceiver was also gone. "They do make fine tools, but still useless to what we have," she tossed them onto the ground.
"Taking pokemon here and there," White said, "I guess Team Plasma never changes,"
"Who do you think we are missy, considering the fact that you've crossed paths with us so many times," she closed the fan. "You and your little friend...what was his name again? Ahhh, Black,"
White slammed her hands on the bars. "Don't you dare say his name!"
Octavia smirked. "Ohh, I see the sleeping Litten has it's own fangs to bare, interesting,"
"Why are you guys still even around? Your leader is missing and we made sure we got rid of you guys 3 years ago," the pokedex holder gritted her teeth.
"Missing?" Octavia started laughing, her Mismagius mimicking her trainer's laughter. "My dear, our dear Ghetsis isn't missing, he's merely hiding to plan his next move, after all, you should know how cunning that man can be," she smiled, "and while he does that, we will continue to bring even bigger glory to us,"
"Yeah, that's what Ghetsis once planned, we'll see how far that goes," it was the dexholder's turn to taunt.
"My you are like tamed Lilipup, all talk but no bite," she pouted.
"Man you both sure talk a lot," Gold complained, reminding White of his presence.
"Wait so why do you even need both of us, I'm the only one who has a past with Plasma, not him, let him go,"
Octavia raised an eyebrow. "Oh believe me missy, I would rather lighten the load on this place by throwing him off, but he's an important asset to our plans,"
"Important asset? He's just another pokemon trainer!"
"Hey!" Gold shouted. However, Octavia suddenly burst out laughing, her Mismagius mimicking her again.
"What?
"My dear, you call yourself a pokedex holder, but you don't even know much about other regions' holders?"
White widened her eyes as she turned to look at him. "Other... regions?"
"Well then, allow me to make the inroductions for you, this my dear, is Gold Hibiki, one of the Pokedex Holders of Johto, the Breeder,"
"Glad to know there are ladies out there doing they're research on me," Gold started as he stood up from his sitting position and walked towards the bar. "And usually this is the part where I tell them I'm as single as a Diglett but,"
It was at that moment that a look appeared on his face, a look that was hard for White to recognize on his face considering how he acted all this time. A look of anger.
"But you all are nothing more than scum that makes brings misery to pokemon," he narrowed his eyes.
Octavia let out a tsk sound. "Shadow Ball,"
Without warning, Mismagius formed a ball of ghostly energy and fired it at Gold, the sphere passing through the bars as if it was nothing and White watched in horror as the sphere attacked Gold directly.
He grunted as he was shot back to the back of the prison cell.
"Gold!" White cried out in horror as she ran to him.
Gold coughed/laughed. "If only you could repeat that, but this time in a more lovey dovey manner hehe," he grunted as White shot back at Octavia.
"What was that for! Using a pokemon attack on humans like that!"
"Then learn how to shut your mouth before insulting us like that, or I'll shut you up myself, permanently," she said as she turned around. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have more work to do, I just came to see how our lovely guests were doing, I'll be back soon so just stay cozy in your little cell," she walked towards the door and stopped.
"By the way," she turned around to look at White right in the eyes. "Stop calling us Team Plasma. That's in the old days. Our name, is Paradise," she left the room.
Minutes passed as Gold slowly took deep breaths, trying to bear the pain as White tried her best to help, but was unsure of what to do. The latter zipped open his jacket and lifted his black undershirt to reveal a purple bruise forming on his skin.
"Yeah they doesn't look so pretty," Gold winced as White tried to look around to see if there was anything she could use to cover the bandage up. Gold noticed the worried look on her face and put down his shirt.
"Don't worry, I've been through worse, I'll survive this,"
"Are you sure?"
"Really, besides, as much I would bathe in the enjoyment of a woman staring at my sexy body, it seems we have more pressing matters to attend to," Gold assured as White looked like she was about to slap him for his comment.
"So, how exactly are we going to get out of here?" White said as she looked around. Gold stretched his arms and lied down, resting the back of his head on his hands. "Uhhh... Gold?" White sweatdropped.
"Sometimes, all you gotta do is to let time take it's own effect on you, and I don't know about you, I'm feeling quite lazy right now,"
White's eye twitched at his laidback attitude. "D-Didn't you just said we had more pressing matters to attend to?"
"So what's your history with Black and this Team Plasma...or Paradise or whatever they're called and how did you become a Pokedex holder," Gold asked out of nowhere, ignoring White's previous comment. She opened her mouth to argue, but stopped herself, figuring out that it was pointless to even argue with him to begin with.
"How I met Black? Well, I met him when my production company was filming a commercial for..."
And the story continued on. She talked about how enthusiastic Black was when they first met, how he had helped her on multiple occasions especially with that Dreaming ability he has thanks to his Musharna, and how they first encountered Team Plasa. Running into them more than once, trying to put a stop to their plans, talking about how Bianca had given White her pokedex as well.
And for some reason, White found herself smiling, and giggling few times, telling about how much trouble Black caused for her and her company, but at the same time how her journey with him turned out to be one of the best times of her life.
She continued on until the pokemon league, where they had their final confrontation with Ghetsis, where Black managed to successfully draw out Reshiram and battled against N and Ghetsis.
"He must be a strong trainer," Gold commented.
White giggled. "He is. He may not be the brightest person but I will admit, no one's smarter than him when it comes to battling, he's been teaching himself battle strategies and techniques ever since he was young. He always told me about how he wanted to go to Mount Silver one day to battle a legendary trainer,"
This time, Gold's face changed. "Unfortunately the guy's taking a rain check right now," he muttered.
"What was that?"
"Oh nothing," Gold quickly shrugged. "So what happened after Black's big battle?"
"He...he...," White gulped, "Ghetsis, after he was defeated, Reshiram was about to turn back into the Light Stone when that man ordered his pokemon to send Black flying near Reshiram so in the end, he got sucked into the Light Stone as well..."
Gold sat back up straight. "Sorry to hear that,"
White sighed. "I want to believe he's out there somewhere, so that one day I can see him again but..." she gritted her teeth. "It's been three years, so who knows how he is right now,"
"He'll be fine," Gold said.
"Huh?" She stared at Gold, who had a different look on his face now.
"As long as you continue to believe him, put your faith in him, whatever he' going through right now he'll pull through. After all," he leaned back a bit, "you both are partners aren't you?" he gave a sneaky grin. A grin that reminded White of Black.
She let out a small smile. "Yeah, I guess you're right," she sighed as she stood up. "Now as much as I would also love to hear your story of how you started to be a Pokedex holder as well, I feel like we should try and get out of this place first,"
Gold snickered. "Oh, I wouldn't worry much about that," he said. "My friends should be here about any moment now," he stood up.
"Huh?"
BOOM!
At that moment, a loud explosion was heard and the entire place suddenly shook around.
"Woah, woah!" she wobbled around before she lost her footing and fell backwards, only to be catch by a pair of arms.
"Careful there, I always have girls falling into my arms," he snickered as White ignored him.
"Wait what's going?" The door suddenly opened and a bunch of Paradise grunts came running in with a Magnemites floating in the air.
"Open the bars, once that's done subdue the prisoners! We can't let them escape!"
White brought her guard up as she scanned the surroundings, 4 grunts with 3 Magnemites were surrounding the prison cell as one of them was walking over to the wall with a lever on it.
"Thunder Wave on standby!" one of them ordered as electricity sparked around the Magnemite.
White whispered. "Gold, what are we supposed to do,"
"We wait," he whispered back with a smile.
The grunt placed his hand on the lever, about to bring it down when all of a sudden, White watched as one of the grunts suddenly kicked the lever grunt to the wall, everyone gasping at the sight.
"H-Huh? Michael! What are you doing!" one of the grunt shouted. The grunt didn't say anything, merely taking out a pokeball.
"Sorry but you're friend Michael is asleep in his closet," He said. "Night Slash," he spoke as he clicked the pokeball opened. White didn't have the chance to see what pokemon it was as something black shot out and it went pass all of the Magnemites, knocking them out in an instant.
"H-Huh?" It was then the pokemon finally stood still as White took a closer look. It was pokemon she had never seen before, a black bipedal pokemon with long claws with a collar and crown made of red feathers.
"Vile" The pokemon cried.
"Grrr...who do you think you are! Messing with Paradise!" a grunt shouted as he held a fist back.
"Freeze them with Icy Wind," the grunt said as the pokemon brought it's claws together and let out an ice cold wind that blew at the grunts, ice started to form from their feet and made their way up to their necks, immobilizing them.
"W-Who are-" but they couldn't continue as the the ice froze their bodies in an instant.
"Don't worry, my Weavile can control the temperature of his ice, it won't freeze you to death," Silver stared at the frozen grunts.
White stared in shock. No words left her mouth as she just watched the trainer take out the other grunts almost instantly. Gold walked closer to the bars and knelt down.
"Wassup Weavile, you're doing well,"
Said pokemon, like his trainer, only shook his head at Gold in disappointment. The "grunt" took off the hat and put down his mask, revealing his long red hair.
"I should just let you sit there like the failure you are," the trainer spoke.
"Oh c'mon Silver what was I supposed to do, I tried my best already," Gold pouted and sulked. "Now be a friend and let us out please," The Johtonese clasped his hands together as the trainer named Silver sighed and flicked the lever.
The bars shook a little as they lifted up into holes in the ceilings. Silver reached into his pocket and tossed something to Gold and White.
"Here you go,"
Gold and White caught their objects, White saw that it was her Xtranceiver and Gold a rectangular watch like device.
"You'll bee needing these as well," he said as he handed them their pokebelts. White gasped as she quickly took the belt and took a closer look at her pokeballs. Her pokemon were all smiling at her, showing faces of gratitude at her through the red capsule.
"Thank goodness," she sighed as she strapped them on until she forgot another important. "Umm...who are you?" White asked. Before the red hair-ed person could answer, Gold put an arm around his neck.
"This edgy dude right here is human partner Silver! Silver! This is White!" he said enthusiastically, Silver responded by putting his hand on his face and pushing him away.
"I know dumbass, we were supposed to get her before Paradise did. A simple task which you failed miserably, and before you say anymore," he spoke when he saw Gold's face, "Keep in mind that Kris is just as disappointed in you as I am,"
Gold frowned. "Oh c'mon," he whined, "Well, it can't be help, the super serious gal is always super serious,"
"Ummm before we continue any further," White interrupted the two boys' conversation, "What's the next plan,"
A beeping noise was heard, White noticed that it was coming from a rectangular device on Silver's belt, something that was similar to Gold's wrist device. He picked it up and held it to his ear.
"This is Silver..." he turned his head to a wall, "Alright got it," he spoke and he out the device down, "Help is here," he said as he took out a pokeball. "Gold,"
Gold took out his own pokeball. "I gotchu, stand back Miss White," he said as he let out a pokemon, a tall brown tree-like pokemon.
"Sudowoodo!"
Silver pointed at the wall. "Icy Wind, freeze it!" he ordered his Weavile. The pokemon nodded and unleashed a large gust of cold wind. It was so cold that White could see her own breath and she found herself shivering a bit. The ice started to formed on the wall and slowly made its way up until the entire wall was frozen.
"Our turn, Sudobo! Dynamic Punch Barrage!"
The three green circle on it's arms glowed as the Sudowoodo came forward and started punching the ice. One punch barely formed any cracks on it, so the pokemon continued to punch with both arms repeatedly, especially in a great speed. White watched in amazement as cracks started to grow bigger and bigger until finally, with one last hit, the wall cracked, and White gasped.
She found out the prison cell they were in, was actually floating in the sky, as confirmed by the strong gust of wind that entered the room.
"I heard the sound! It's coming from the Prison Room!" voices were heard from outside the room.
"Miss White!" Gold shouted, trying to raise his voice louder than the blowing wind as he put down his goggles. "Have you ever went skydiving?"
White widened her eyes. "Huh?!"
"Let's go, they're almost here," Silver said as White's heart dropped when she saw him jump out of the room and into the sky.
"Wait what!"
The footsteps from outside the room were getting louder and louder, and so was White's heartbeat. She slowly moved towards the large hole in the wall, and nauseus was starting to overcome her as she saw nothing but clouds below her. Silver was nowhere to be seen as well.
"Miss White!" Gold called out as he extended his hand. "I apologise for not telling you about me being a Pokedex Holder, but right now, I need you to trust me so that we can get out of here!"
White hesitated for a moment, but then looked at the door. She bit her lip. What other choice do I have?.
She grabbed Gold's hand, the latter pulled her closer.
"On 3..." Gold said, "3!" he shouted as he jumped out of the room.
"KYAAAA!" White screamed as she felt gravity did it's work while closing her eyes, holding onto Gold for dear life. Her hair waved around and danced like crazy in the wind. She swore that at that very moment her heart leapt out of her chest.
She fell for a good 5 seconds when she felt that she landed on something. She slowly opened her eyes, and saw Gold's grin. She looked down and realized she was on a pokemon, a large pokemon at that. Her skin brushed the orange scales and noticed the flamed at the end of it's tail.
A Charizard?
"Grou..." The pokemon cried. Gold patted the pokemon.
"Thanks for the help Salamè, and you too X," Gold said. It was then White noticed another trainer on the Charizard. A trainer with blue jacket and black trouser, with an interesting feature of a hat with sunglasses on it. The trainer turned to his side, showing Gold his tired eyes.
"You're welcome," he quietly muttered.
"Wait where's Silver?" White quickly asked as she noticed the lack of red hair.
"Right here," A voice spoke as she saw Silver hanging onto to a leg of dark blue pokemon, it's feathers colored and shaped to make it look like a suit of a mob boss.
"Wait, where are you guys taking me? " White wondered. So far, she's been brough one mess to another, everything went from a 0 to a 100 in such a fast manner that it'll take some time for everything that's just happened to sink in.
She took a closer look at where she jumped from. So that's where we were. In the sky, was a large black metal battleship, a large P was painted on the side of it. She gulped. So these were the people who kidnapped us? The view of the ship got smaller and smaller as they flew away fast to get as far as possible from it.
"Sorry for dragging you into this mess," Gold apologized again. "But right now, we need you're help," he donned a serious look.
"My help? With what?"
"To prevent a great disaster from happening, a disaster involves the Dragons of Unova, aka, you're friend Black as well," Silver said as White felt a pang to her chest.
Black?
"We know it's a lot to take in," Gold said, "I came to Unova in order to find you, but it seems Paradise beat us to it," he scratched the back of his neck. "And we don't want to force you to do anything you don't want, so we only ask that you come with us so that we can explain to you, all of us,"
"All? Of You?"
Gold nodded. "Yep, all of us Pokedex Holders, we're a much more bigger group than you think Miss White, so...will you come with us? If you don't want to we can drop you off somewhere, but it'll be risky since Paradise will be after you,"
A great disaster...involving Black?. If this was something that involved Black, would that...would that possible mean that...
I could see Black again?.
No don't do this White. Don't give yourself false hope.
But if it's a small chance then I...
Mustering up the courage, she gave her answer. "Fine, I'll come with you, but on one condition,"
Gold raised an eyebrow.
"Stop calling me Miss White, Just call me by White," she smiled.
"Oh, well then, is it alright if I call you mine?" Gold winked, and a kick in the head by Silver when his Honchkrow flew over Charizard was what he deserved.
"Hey!"
"Just shut up," Silver stated as they all flew into the sky.
"So you failed?" A deep sounding voice asked.
Octavia, who was bowing in front of the person, stood straight up.
"Yes Master, and I accept any punishment that you see fit to be given to me," she requested.
The man sighed, then he let out a smirk sound. "Actually, if she's reuniting with other Dexholders, then it's not all a bad thing," he stated, "Instead of them coming to us one by one, they might as well come a group and save us the trouble looking for them," he let out a grin.
"If I may Master," Octavia started, "What makes you think that they'll come here to find us?"
The man let out small laughter. "Because, my dear Octavia, I just happen to hold something of great value to them," he said as he turned his head to the side of the large room they were in. Standing there, was a white pedestal, and sitting on it, was none other than the Light Stone.
The man smirked. "It's just a matter of time, if they all come running at us like a pack of Patrats looking for food," The man stood up and walked over to he pedestal.
"Sleep well, Black Touya, for the time when you awake, will be the time when I have my control over the Great Dragons of Unova!" he announced.
