Years
Smiling softly surrounded by the dead it had been years since they had last seen each other.
'Hello Jack' she whispered, her eyes straying to the head stone between them.
'Major' greeted Jack, the years hadn't changed her dramatically, nor had it stopped his Air force up bring from reaching the surface.
'It's been years' she informed him. Rain the signalled the beginning of troubles, she thought, he still looked the same, eventually Daniel's death had taken its toll on them, Jonas seemed to be the root of all their troubles, but they all agreed they were just looking for someone to blame.
'I know. Walk with me' Jack said, his voice was almost above a whisper.
As the two ex-comrades walked in silence, they shared secret glances. 'What happened to Jonas?' asked Jack.
'Why do you want to know?' Jack gave her a withering look, closing her mouth she stared at his weathered jaw line. 'Don't know. I suppose he went home.' She wasn't about to tell him the truth, they had all changed over the years, with no contact, as much as she loved him she knew she could never go back to the way it was, the past hurt too much. Stopping to turn and look at Sam, Jack ran his hand along her jaw.
'So beautiful' he murmured, he couldn't take his eyes off of her. Shifting from foot to foot, she was becoming self-conscious under his gaze. She had always been, whenever he seemed to fall for another alien, she always seemed to re-evaluate herself. Jack watched with hooded eyes as Sam's eyes darted away, she had never really liked people showing much emotion to her, mostly her CO.
Leaning down their lips touched, it was like they were being pulled back together and there was nothing they could do about it. After years of fighting her feelings Sam finally gave in, locking her arms around his neck, she pulled him closer. Placing his hands on her hips, all he could think about was his lips on hers, it felt like it had been forever when they pulled apart both gasping for air and saturated to the bone.
'Wow' was all Sam could think, she could still feel his lips on hers and his body pressed so tightly up against hers, they might as well meld into one person. Giving him a weak smile, she couldn't bare to watch him walk away all over again. 'Why did you leave?' she asked, staring up into his eyes she could see pain flittering around, as he tried to pulled away she grabbed his hand. 'Please.'
'I don't know' he said, really he hadn't given it a thought. Maybe it was to do with the fact you're getting older, his mind question, right now wasn't the time to think about it.
Pulling him closer this time the kiss was with an intensity that they had never thought exist, smiling softly they were protected from the past in each other's arms.
It isn't that good I wrote it in English.
