Astronaut Jason unknowingly releases Serenity from her deep sleep because he wandered off the spacecraft and messed around with the ruins of the Moon Kingdom castle. Idk I had the thought of an archaeologist unleashing a mummy, but this is an alien and an astronaut. Sprinkle in reincarnation and here you go!
I found a random alien language translator for these sentences. (If anyone cares lol)

Jason Todd ignored his asshole of a captain reprimanding another member of the crew over something incredibly stupid. This common occurrence happened far too often that Jason learned to tune the man out. There was no need for him to get in between him and whoever the man was screaming at. No one else dared to be a hero on a spaceship where they were more or less isolated from other people.
The medic was more or less on standby for when the Captain lost his temper. Considering the Captain received this position through nepotism and brown nosing to all the higher ups at the space station, no one could complain about his shit.
Jason was safe from this Captain because of his last name. Back on Earth, he caved, alongside Dick, and added Wayne to their last names. Technically adopted into the Wayne family as adults, but their association with the Wayne legacy made their lives far easier. Bruce saw them as his sons, just as much as his surprise biological son. The shock on his face when they presented him with their new last name was a core memory to look back on.
Especially since Bruce's connections opened multiple doors for the ones he loved. Keyword: Love. No one else received such treatment and prestige.
None of Bruce Wayne's wards suffered under numerous interviews, wandering hands, or nightly dinners to secure a position.
Which was how Jason's interest in space travel became a childhood fantasy came to life.
As a poor child, he wasn't allowed to dream. He wouldn't have the connections or the money to afford to spend months training for space. Somehow, he amused Bruce enough, when he tried stealing his hover car lights, to endear himself to the trillionaire. He even became Bruce's ward after a phone call, a visit from a lawyer, and packing what little belongings from his dilapidated apartment.
Jason couldn't thank Bruce enough for his whim in taking him in.
"Are you listening-" The Captain's voice broke through Jason's thoughts.
He discreetly sighed.
Keeping his eyes on the monitors, Jason knew the others were averting their eyes from the chaos. No one was not dumb enough to openly stare. The captain might turn his rage onto them and receive their own verbal smackdown.
The yelling was cut off when the second-in-command bellowed out. " Incoming ! Moon, ahead!"
Jason peered around his monitor and saw the large mass on his screen. Quickly calculating the distance, he screamed the distance before the ship breached the Moon's atmosphere.
The Captain rushed back to his seat, removed the autopilot and resumed handling the controls.
Jason managed to hear murmurs of relief before the sound of scrambling fabric and heavy footsteps ensued.
Upon breaching the orbit of the Moon, the crew waited with bated breath as they placed the ship on standby.
Jason breathed through his nose, already knowing he would be sent out. Having complained about not doing anything other than checking the screens, the Captain would push him out. Mainly to get in good graces of the Wayne family due to the mission being a success.
As he stared at the moon, Jason felt his heart palpitating. His breathing grew shallow and quick. His mind seemed to run on adrenaline, causing his eyes to want to search around the moon's surface. As much as his eyes could possibly be able to see.
A feeling of anticipation coursed through his veins. All he wanted to do was to jump off of this ship and run to…something.
Something was calling him.
His hypnosis was broken when the Captain snipped. "Wayne! Forrest! Graham! Figueroa! Kane! Gray! Gear up and explore! Leave no stone unturned."
"Yes, Captain!" Came their simultaneous cry.
Jason leaped out his seat, eager to get the hell out of the ship. Ignoring the concerned comments from the crew, he quickly put on the space suit. None of them would volunteer for a spot in the exploration crew. Not for this one. Unlike other planets, the Moon was still an unexplored territory.
Legends spread throughout the centuries of the reason why the Earth's Moon was left untouched after the first exploration. Stretching from a curse to alien inhabitants scaring off the original landing crew.
The rumors became even more ridiculous as the Earth found the means to settle on Mars and other planetary moons. In the last century, Jupiter and Saturn were used as a means for observation hubs.
Jason thought it was a conspiracy to keep something on the Moon a secret. This was far likely on account of other planetary moons being kept isolated for private use. Most of those moons were extensively searched for minerals and raw materials. Some of the larger moons contained valuable fuel for the hover cars and hover trucks.
Meaning, he would possibly find something interesting.
Looking at his exploring team, Jason might have to separate from them in order to explore the planet by itself. Which shouldn't be hard. Most of these men did this for the notoriety and possible streams of income. Also, the possibility of landing on the military space station was high. Only experienced military and astronauts were allowed on those vessels.
Jason had no such interest in such things and preferred exploration. Leave the Solar System defense to the military space crews who patrolled the galaxy.
"Got everything ready, Wayne?" Figueroa inquired as he put on his helmet but had not attached the mechanisms yet.
"Ready." Jason nodded his head and made sure his suit and helmet were zipped up properly.
The hatch of their small space pod opened to reveal the mud room. Small and cramped, big enough for the men to fit in. This area inside of the pod immediately changed to the Moon's gravity. The men grabbed onto a pole, keeping themselves from floating up as they slowly moved on toward the door. One by one, the men hopped off the ship, landing onto the ground. Hopping a bit before the gravity kept them steady.
Through the mics inside of their helmets, Jason overheard the men speaking of where to start first. Jason wanted nothing more than to wander off on his own. Something inside of him was urging him to hurry up and leave these people.
"I say, we split up for a bit." Jason received scattered noises from the other men as they hopped to turn to him. "Think about it. We won't be able to get most of the moon for today. We'll cover more ground if we make a mark on the moon's surface with our boots."
"But the Captain usually suggests we split into two groups and keep near our traveling pod. We can't wander around unfamiliar territory." Graham said.
Jason insisted. "We gain nothing if we don't risk ourselves a little bit. How the hell were the other moons taken over if they only walked a short distance?"
"Since when do we listen to that prick?" Forrest snipped.
"Since he almost beat your face in during the last mission." Gray snickered.
"Shut the fuck up, Gray!" Forrest tried reaching for him, but Gray hopped on back, chuckling out loud.
Figueroa sighed. "If splitting up means getting this shit done, I say we split up and wander." He looked at the time inside of their pod's mud room. "We have six hours before night falls on this side of the moon."
Jason agreed. "I'm all for it."
He moved as fast as he could while the other men continued on arguing. He will risk getting yelled at if it means getting this gripping feeling in his soul to go away.
He visited other planets, wandered on other planets. Yet, the moment his eyes locked on the Moon, Earth's Moon , his whole counterbalance shifted. His entire being insisted on him to get himself away from the crew members.
Someone was calling him, urging him to hurry up.
His breathing grew harsher and harsher the more he pushed himself to move away. Weight slowly built up on his shoulders and his jumps became smaller and smaller. He persisted in moving along.
Tiring himself out, Jason paused for a moment. Catching his breath, he twisted his body around to look all around himself. Landing back in place, he resumed walking.
His body seemed to move on its own. Somehow, he recognized where he was going. After that twirl, he was certain he didn't change direction to where he was supposedly going. Waves of deja vu flickered through his mind with each step he took.
He should have felt fear of not being in control, but the anticipation of what was up ahead tempered down his usual concerns.
A rush of adrenaline pushed him in the last bit of distance to his destination.
All of a sudden, two large white ornate marble doors appeared before him, stopping him from going on forward.
Seemingly snapping out of his daze, Jason's mouth gaped at the size of the building. Somehow, he missed seeing this building while he was walking in this direction. He almost swore out loud but managed to stop himself. Speaking a word would bring his crew members to ask about his location.
Reaching out his hand, Jason placed it on the carved out crescent moon in the middle of the doors. Eyebrows furrowing, he waited for something to happen. Anything .
He stood there for what felt like long, agonizing minutes.
A shot of warmth went up his spine, but he suspected this was on account of his suit. The spacesuits acclimated to rapid changes of temperature, keeping lost space travelers from dying like they used to. Now, people died after weeks of hunger in the spacesuit, lack of searching, or were left abandoned by their crew.
Jason wanted to let out a frustrated sigh at the lack of action. There was no big reaction. Nothing to signify that this whole frustrating run through the Moon was not a waste of time.
The radio static of his crew members complaining about the lack of excitement was clear. One of them, he was certain was Gray, apparently found the original Moon landing site. Jason willed himself not to yell out about this gate. This might not even be anything.
Applying pressure on the gate, he was stunned when the gates opened. Real easily.
Yanking his hand back, Jason observed with trepidation as the gates revealed an enlarged space. Big enough to house a spaceship or something similar. Looking around, he noticed sitting areas behind what appeared like glass windows, left unused for some time.
"What the-" Jason shut himself up, thinking his crew members heard him. From the sound of static and random words, the connection was becoming frayed.
Strange.
His microphones worked well in long distances. Making it hard for someone to get lost unless they were purposely trying to get away from sight. The thought of this building jamming communication was possible. After all, Jason had not taken notice of this place before it almost hit him in the face.
Intaking a deep breath, he walked further inside. More than enough for the large gate doors to shut closed, immediately changing the gravity density inside of the room. Jason felt gravity similar to Earth's gravity, pushing him down to the ground. Stunned, he moved his limbs around, feeling no added pounds to slow down his movements.
Touching his helmet, he was tempted to take it off, but he refrained. He might be able to move around without issues, but who knew if there was viable oxygen in the air.
Wandering in, he opened another door, revealing a small water fountain. Green moss collected onto the sides, creating a tinge in the water. Jason walked next to it, quickly swiping his fingertips in case of acid. Nothing happened.
Sighing, he sat down onto the stone. Contemplating his options in this odd scenario.
None of the documents he was allowed to read said anything about the Moon already being a settlement. There was nothing to indicate there was life on the Moon. Yet, the landing space and running water told him otherwise. Someone was here.
From the looks of the place, it appeared clean and livable. Whoever lived on here managed to cultivate a way to make the Moon a place to live in. Somehow, under the nose of multiple countries and space stations who briefly checked on the Moon through satellites and telescopes, a civilization survived.
Lifting his head up, he braced himself and unlocked the mechanisms that kept his helmet attached to his suit. Holding a deep breath, Jason removed the helmet.
He felt the gentle breeze caressing his sweaty skin and the incoming smell of moss from the fountain. Releasing his breath, Jason took in several breaths, waiting for the air poisoning or an involuntary reaction.
The tension left his shoulders as he held his helmet in his arms.
He heard incoming footsteps coming from his right. Someone did live on the Moon. He wasn't hallucinating what he experienced or jeopardized his life on account of assumptions on his own part.
He readied himself to speak to this person, wanting to ask about the secrecy, but he paused. This person might not even be human, they might be an alien. Someone who could kill him without a case and dispose of him.
At least, the insistence that tugged him to this location was gone. Peace and content replaced his anxiousness.
Sighing, the footsteps turned the corner and Jason was surprised.
She appeared human.
A human-like alien who appeared far more beautiful than all the women Jason met throughout his life, stood before him. This was no exaggeration. Jason spent time around beautiful women on account of being adopted by Bruce Wayne. His new status covered up the poverty-stricken reality of Jason's upbringing. All those women saw were dollar signs. A chance to marry into the Wayne family dynasty.
Jason was smart enough to entertain, but to never leave himself unprotected. Bruce didn't have to lecture him about not believing their sugared lies. He wasn't Dick. He grew up in Crime Alley. A place where Jason saw the most deplorable people act upon their most basic desires. His own mother abandoned him more often than not to sniff up galactic grade drugs.
He always kept his heart guarded. Well protected. No one managed to stir his emotions in the romanticized manner Dick described his usual romances. Then again, Dick was enthusiastic about love, while Jason was unbothered by the idea.
Jason was just not interested in falling in love.
Yet, this woman in front of him, took his breath away.
Gulping down the lump in this throat, Jason observed her as discreetly as possible. Maybe, not as discreet on account of the amused twinkle in her eye and the smile on her plump pink lips.
Her white, no, silver hair was pulled back into high ponytails, molded into a bun style before the rest cascaded down her back. Her white sleeveless maxi dress reached down to the floor, gathering behind her in a small train. There were gold circular adornments, around the bodice, with small gold pearls in two separate rows, one on the bodice, another underneath her breasts. Her bright blue eyes brought color to her otherwise white and gold aesthetic.
"⍜⊑...⋔⊬ ⌰⍜⎐⟒...⋔⊬ ⏚⟒⌰⍜⎐⟒⎅...⊬⍜⎍ ⊑⏃⎐⟒ ⍀⟒⏁⎍⍀⋏⟒⎅!" The woman's blue eyes shined with tears as her delicate hands cupped Jason's face.
Jason didn't understand the words she said. He didn't know a word of whatever language she spoke in to know she appeared relieved. Her tears trickled down her face as she babbled on while the stone door shut closed behind him.
"⍙⊑⊬ ⏃⍀⟒ ⊬⍜⎍ ⍙⟒⏃⍀⟟⋏ ⌇⎍ ⊑ ⏃⏁⏁⟟⍀⟒? ⍜⊑, ⍙⊑⏃⏁ ⎅⍜⟒⌇ ⏁⊑⏃⏁ ⋔⏃⏁⏁⟒⍀? ⊬⍜⎍ ⋏⟒⟒⎅ ⏁⍜ ⟒⏁ ⊑⏃⋏ ⟒⎅." The woman grasped Jason's hand and pulled him along.
As if in a trance, Jason didn't fight her off. He let her lead him down the stone hallway. The high lanterns sparked with bright flames as they walked down the hallway. Illuminating the paintings that littered the walls.
Interpretations of the past leaders of the moon showed beautiful, deadly women, who ruled over their people with a gentle, but firm disposition. Every single one showed peace and prosperity. Planets united by the quest of eternal unity between all the planets. He managed to notice that Earth was not one of those planets in this peaceful unity.
Jason felt his mind being stabbed into when he saw the images of a bloody war. Drawings of bloody silver haired warriors from the Moon and warriors from Earth, killing each other.
The transition of a woman in a casket to one standing beside it with a crown, showed the transition of power. The woman in front of him was crowned monarch, after the death of her mother.
Afterwards, the walls were blank. Leaving room for future generations of monarchs for this hidden kingdom.
The Queen opened another door, exposing light and a large courtyard. Jason stumbled, astonished as to how the Earth missed such a huge landscape. There might have been a possible jammer or barrier keeping outsiders from seeing this place.
Dropping his helmet, the Queen turned to him, her delight present in her face. She cupped his face and got on her toes to kiss him.
When their kiss broke, the woman warmly said. "Jasper, you didn't lie to me , to my kingdom . You came back to wake us up from our slumber."
He understood her.
How was that possible?
He didn't understand her before.
Jason's eyes blurred out the image of the woman. Feeling dizzy, he stumbled backwards. The woman guided him down onto a place to sit. Another harsher shiver of warmth and coldness shot through him.
Through his delirium, he muttered. "Serenity?"
The goofy smile on Serenity's face brought Jason's heart to speed up. Jason smiled along with her, besotted at her image. Even more so when she resumed kissing him, causing his mind to swirl and his arms to grip onto her body.
She muttered against his lips, "What is this ugly attire?"
The discovery of the Moon Kingdom caused immediate talk all throughout the Earth.
The regular human found the idea of an alien race as exciting . After all, people speculated the idea of life on other planets, most thought of them as malformed or even animalistic in nature. From the radio signals that showed images of the Lunarian race, they were ethereal in appearance and peaceful . They were thrilled to find out aliens were on the Earth's own orbit.
Government officials, on the other hand, panicked behind closed doors.
None of them knew how to defend against the sudden resurgence of a once powerful race of people. Lunarians were indeed peaceful, to a degree. Retellings of their conquests and reign of Solar System peace were well recorded by the few humans who managed to get on the Moon through special circumstances. These documents were hidden in the recesses of history, kept away from the eyes of the regular public.
The tentative peace between the Earth and the moon was ruined when a group of kings attempted to usurp the matriarch, Queen Serenity I.
An all-out war ensued. Destroying most of human history's futuristic discoveries, setting them back to an older age. As revenge, an assassin, unnamed in history, managed to kill Queen Serenity I, bringing forth the reign of her daughter, Queen Serenity II.
The grief stricken woman further ruined the Earth. Her once naive outlook on life was broken by the betrayal of humans and their arrogance in attempting to conquer her kingdom. Her previous fascination with their planet was destroyed after the death of her beloved mother. She couldn't look at the Earth the same.
The war ended after another unnamed person, a warlock, placed Queen Serenity II and those tied to her in the Moon Kingdom alliance into a deep sleep. Planets that were once hospitable became barren, a wasteland, unable to be stepped on by life.
Somehow, in the middle of the chaos, the original transport that took humans to the Moon was destroyed. The original plans to build another were incinerated.
There was no way for them to resume space exploration for centuries to come.
Multiple countries' officials set up the biggest meeting in human history. Various world leaders stood in front of their webcams; visibly panicking but attempting to calm the fear in their voices. After all, their ancestors warned them about releasing the Lunarians from their deep sleep.
As someone managed to create a concrete plan, their monitors switched onto a live broadcast. The broadcast showed the image of multiple statues of women donning tiaras, large staffs, and a familiar crescent moon mark on their foreheads.
Rapid fire swearing in multiple languages ensued before everyone resumed in English.
" Fuck ."
"What do we do?"
"There's nothing we can do. We were warned to never step foot on the Moon. Who the fuck approved that mission?!"
"Um…General Kingston from America was insistent we finally breach the planet. We have taken over other moons, why not that one? He claimed our ancestors were following silly little superstitions."
"That fucking moron!"
"Didn't he read those damn documents?!"
"We're ruined!"
Their attention was back on the screen when a beautiful silver haired woman walked up to the podium. The descriptions given through historic text didn't do the woman justice. She was untouched by age. Perfectly preserved from the moment she was placed in deep sleep.
Standing at the podium was Queen Serenity II and an unfamiliar handsome man who wore armor over his silk ensemble.
Queen Serenity's smile appeared gentle, but the frostiness overshadowed the intent.
"Hello, citizens of the Earth. Thank you all for giving me a moment of your time. I understand my presence is a surprise. Citizens of the Moon have been in a long state of sleep for multiple millennia."
The man, who was dressed in armor, placed a hand on the hilt of his sword. His blue eyes bore into the camera, bringing a shiver down the spines of those who knew the reality of the Moon Kingdom's entrapment.
"We have noted that the Moon has been left relatively untouched. Other than that, ghastly looking pod taking space on the outskirts of my planet, I swiftly removed it." Her smile deepened, causing her eyes to squint. "The audacity to think that my lands are easily conquered is not a brilliant action."
The knight's attention moved offscreen. He took some steps to the side as an offscreen person who wore similar colors to Queen Serenity, whispered into his ear. His eyebrows rose and a sharp smile appeared on his face. He returned to Queen Serenity's side, leaning close to her ear with a hand covering his mouth.
Queen Serenity's smile brightened even more.
"Ah." Queen Serenity tilted her head to the side as she announced. "The rest of the planets' citizens of the Solar System have awoken as well. They will inspect their planets for damages done to their ecosystem and way of life. Please, do not fight them. We are willing to be peaceful without having to use force. Have a good day!"
The End .
