This is a story written for fun, I do not own any characters besides Alice. All other characters belong to Kohei Horikoshi. I will update rather infrequently, as this story is written for fun. Writing tips are VERY appreciated. Thank you! -Another Awful Author

Aizawa Shouta raced across the rooftops toward a screaming voice. I'd better not be late, damnit. He thought to himself. It was almost dreamlike, in a way, the night air was sweet, and the moon was full. Aizawa raced over rooftops, illuminated by the soft, silky moonlight. He appeared at the entrance of an alleyway, to see a mysterious sight. A tall figure, with golden skin, huge wings, and large horns. A black band wrapped its way around one horn. The figure was roughly twelve feet tall, with a white dress and no shoes. It had a lavender coloured flower veil, and, as the figure turned toward Aizawa, he could see it only had one eye. The figure reached out toward Aizawa, and he noticed the tear tracks on it's face. It screamed, a scream of anguish and pain. Aizawa felt a pain in his head, and the figure vanished. "What the hell…" Aizawa muttered. "Jesus. I need more sleep."

He returned back to his duties over the next few days, but a sense of dread followed him. He heard a scream, sighed, and raced over several buildings. He felt the odd dreamlike aura again, however this time it vanished quickly. He ran faster, hoping to catch another glimpse of the bizarre creature from earlier that night. It was, however, a mugging. The villain instigating the situation appeared to have a nail quirk, shooting nails out of his hands. He activated his quirk and heard the villain make a confused noise. The villain whirled around just in time for Aizawa's boot to hit the villain's face. The person being mugged thanked Aizawa while sobbing. Aizawa ran off toward the next crime. After a long night of muggings, Aizawa sighed and decided to head home for the night. Damnit, I forgot about the new class…

Aizawa hated kids. Sure, he jumped at the opportunity to ensure these kids a chance at survival, but many were primarily kids with flashy, powerful quirks. Man, what he would give to teach a kid with a so-called "villainous" quirk. He sighed and inched into the room where his new class was held. He observed all of them, a look of disappointment visible on his face. "It took you all eight seconds to quiet down. How irrational. I am your homeroom and foundational heroics teacher, Aizawa Shouta."

He mentally snickered as many of the kids sweatdropped. Ah well, he mused. U.A. is no place for those who do not expect the unexpected. He gazed over them, and his gaze landed on several. Iida, the blue-haired boy, clearly cared too much about rules. The angry Pomeranian named Bakugou appeared to have been yelling at someone. He pulled out the various gym uniforms and placed them on the large teacher's desk. "Put these on and get outside."

He left the room and walked out to the P.E. field, with the feeling of dread he was so familiar with springing up again. "Is it nearby..?"

"Is what nearby," A child had walked up to him without his noticing. "Sensei, are you alright?"

Oh- he thought. Shit, someone heard me. It was, oh what's her name- Jirou? "Kyouka Jirou, is it?"

"Yes, Sensei." She replied. "If you don't mind my asking, what did you mean by Is It Nearby?"

"It's nothing you need to worry about Jirou," He stated. "Where are the others?"

"Socializing in the lockers. They don't seem to know how to move fast." She scoffed and turned away.

Aizawa could recognize the slight tilt of her shoulders. He had felt it a lot- before he had met #%^&&&. Don't think about him now, Aizawa. Keep your head on your shoulders. He stared at the stragglers who had finally made it onto the field. "It took you half an hour to get dressed. A villain could have killed and injured many people in the time it took you to get here. Anyways, we are doing a quirk assessment test. Most of you have done physical assessments in school, but you were never allowed to use your quirks, right?" He waited for confirmation before continuing. "The education department clings to the concept that all humans are created equal. Since the rise of quirks, since the dawn of time, this has been an irrational concept. Bakugou, you scored highest on the entrance exam, how far could you throw a baseball in middle school?"

"67 meters," the boy boasted. Aizawa noted he shot a pointed glare at Midoriya before looking back.

"Alright. Step into this circle and throw the ball, this time using your quirk."

Bakugou stepped into the circle, and Aizawa had an odd sense of deja vu. He threw the ball, releasing an explosion from his hands. The explosion lit up the sky in brilliant colours, anyone looking at the scene from far enough away could have mistaken the scene for a painting. The moment only lasted a few seconds, however, and Aizawa looked at the device in his hands. "700.1 meters. Welcome to U.A., go beyond, plus ultra.

The rest of the tests passed without fanfare until Midoriya started to throw the ball. Aizawa used his quirk, he felt slightly bad about it. He pulled Midoriya aside and gave him a talking-to. "If your quirk hurts even you, how do you expect to save people?"

He saw the ignited look in Midoriya's eyes and knew he would have an excellent student. Midoriya stepped into the circle. He screamed "PLUS ULTRA!" and the ball went flying. Aizawa immediately looked at Midoriya's arm for injuries and saw he most likely had a broken finger. Aizawa glanced at the device and felt himself smiling. "700.3 meters. Good job, Midoriya."

Bakugou looked dumbfounded and screamed. "How does he have a quirk?! He's been quirkless since he was four!"

Midoriya looked at Bakugou, smiling. "I'm a late bloomer…"

Aizawa noticed that Bakugou looked sort of upset, but brushed it off. Alright, your syllabus is on the teacher's desk, grab one on your way out.

Sorry for the short chapter, my motivation kinda died… SO, an explanation for why some events did or did not happen. In my mind, Mina wouldn't see a test as something fun, she would see it as work and therefore complain about it. As for Bakugou, I just tweaked his mother's personality, so she is just kinda a better influence. For most of the characters, I will try to keep canon personalities, but some of them with be sorta OOC. No ships yet, if I see one in particular requested I'll try to write it. Thank you again for reading this story!
