Charlie stood, slightly in shock as he watched Harry bolt out the door. He wanted to run after him, to apologize. He hadn't meant what he had said, but he couldn't get his feet to move. He watched as Ron and Hermione ran after their departing friend, calling for him to come back. Looking out the window Charlie saw that they had reached Harry in time. Without saying anything the remaining people in the room stood up, going to follow after the three young adults. They stopped short at the door, where Harry's voice carried over to them,
"Or haven't you noticed everybody I care for dies! Anyone I start to get close with Dies! My Mum, My Dad, Cedric, Sirius, Dumbledore, Hedwig, Mad-eye, Dobby, Remus, Tonks, Collin, and Fred! All dead because of me! You should hate me Ron!" The last part of what Harry said didn't reach them. They watched as Ron spoke words of comfort to Harry and watched slightly in awe at the way Harry was calmed by the two. After watching the three settle by one of the trees, the weasley clan made their way back inside, closing the door behind them.
"I'm going to murder you Charlie!" Ginny yelled at him, her wand raised, "How is he ever supposed to really feel part of this family when you go and say things like that! Under age magic be damned, if you say another thing like that you'll have bat-boogeys coming out of your nose for the rest of your life." Charlie was taken back by the ferocity in Ginny's voice.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." Charlie pleaded, he really hadn't; it had just come out. George, who had been silent for the hole exchange, said,
"It wasn't Harry's fault. Harry was like a brother to Fred and I. We would never blame him for something that wasn;t his fault." Charlie was feeling extremely guilty for exploding at the poor boy.
"I know, I'll apologize." Charlie said to the family.
"He's lost so many people, I don't think I ever realized how many." Mrs. Weasley said softly to Mr. Wealsey. With that thought in his head Charlie began his descent up the stairs.
Pausing outside of Ron's door he gave a quick nock.
"Come in." He heard Ron's voice call through the door. Charlie opened the door and saw the three sitting together in a triangle. Ron looked at Charlie, anger clear in his eyes. Hermione's look was filled with venom. Harry's look was mingled with sadness and guilt. Before Charlie could say anything Harry spoke,
"I'm sorry Charlie, I shouldn't have yelled at you." Ron turned his angry glare at his friend.
"What are you apologizing for!?" Ron said half angry, half exasperatedly.
"Rons right. It's my fault. I really don't blame you for Fred. I was just upset." Harry gave Charlie a half smile and a nod,
"No problem." Charlie returned the smile. Glancing at the three he made his way out of the room. All wasn't well, but it would get there.
AN: well thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed! The ideas came from me thinking about how Harry must've blamed himself for Fred's death after the war and what if his thoughts were shared by other Weasleys. What'd you think?
