My Silence Is Just My Pain - Lea Astoria Solomon

A Cursed Child Fanfiction: The 8th And Last Book

1.

To all dear readers of my series, this chapter is for you. If you are asking what happened to Pearl Florence Sparks and Mala Black...

Pearl lay on the ground. Her eyes were already starting to close, and her heartbeat was almost silent. Death's shadow was very near. Suddenly, a silhouette appeared at the back of Pearl's head. She turned around with all her strength. A goddess-like woman stood there. "Artemis, Goddess of the Moon. Your friends are completely safe. You shall not rest just yet." A bright Light, like God himself, shone.

When Pearl finally gained control of herself, she could no longer remember how she got there or how she was healed. Artemis flew in the distance, white robes billowing in the gentle breeze. "Thank you, Mala. You are a Hunter of me now. A Hunter of Artemis. Join me in my flight." Mala took the goddess' hands, and they flew up in the air.

The Battle of Hogwarts had ended, and Pearl was eternally grateful. Aurelia took Chase's hands (and Pearl's) and went to see the sunset with her two best friends. She thanked the person who healed her. It was really a shame that she couldn't remember.

2.

Lea Astoria Solomon woke up from her deep slumber. Her mother was there..."Lea! Wake up! It's your first day at Hogwarts!" Lea groaned. How come her mother had to wake her up? As soon as the sound echoed around the Solomon Manor, her father, Chase was leaning on the doorframe. "Lea Astoria. You'll love it! HEY! Shaun Remus Solomon! Get over here!"

Even though Lea's parents were well-known, rich and powerful Aurors, they were the most welcoming pure bloods in the wizarding world.

"Chase Axel Solomon. Don't even try to force her to like Hogwarts." Aurelia Aquila ran her hands through her daughter's black hair. A small toddler waddled up to Lea's leg as she swung out of bed. "Ah! Your little brother wants you to cuddle him!" It was true. Zacharias Fredrick was the most like both Chase and Aurelia. He had curly blonde hair but streaks of black on his locks as well. He was Zach for short, as Chase liked to call him.

Shaun took Zach from his younger sister. "Nope! Zach, let Lea get ready for Hogwarts!" Lea thanked her oldest brother and got ready. She was already 11! It was really amazing how time had flown so fast, Aurelia thought. She was married, a successful Auror and had three loving children. Her adventure had ended. It was time for Lea Astoria to start hers.

3.

As Lea cuddled her parents one last time, she caught sight of a blonde boy and another girl. "Hello? Who are you?" "It's Anastasia Rose Malfoy. You're Lea Astoria, right? I'm the child of Pearl Sparks! This is Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. My twin brother." Lea shook Scorpius' hand. How come her mother had never told her about these kids? Weren't Pearl Sparks and her mother best friends? Ana put one hand on her shoulder. "I know, Lea. But adults have their secrets, same with us." Scorpius smiled, his grey eyes sparkling in the light. All three kids sat together in a compartment.

In the middle of the trip, Lea decided to take a break from the twins' chatter and move into the hall of the train. She walked out... to see a mop of brown hair pass her. "Albus Severus Potter. You're here." He turned around. Albus looked just like Harry Potter, and Lea just like Aurelia. It was reliving memories through their children. It was really not that long ago that Harry and Aurelia faced each other on this very train and met each other. They led each other to a lifelong friendship. Albus clasped Lea's hands all the while. "Lea. I haven't seen you for such a long time. Did you know that all pure blood families are intwined? So, we're actually second cousins!

Lea suddenly faced him. "Just...a vision. Nothing much. Anyway. What house do you think you'll go into? Mine is either Ravenclaw or Slytherin."

"I truly hope for Gryffindor! I think that you, Lea, would be a nice Ravenclaw. Very smart and pretty." He punched her shoulder.

"Honestly, I'd prefer Ravenclaw. I don't want to get mixed up in adventures."

"But.. your visions. It's exactly like Aunt Aurelia. You're half Riddle anyway. You're a Slytherin deep inside, I know that much."

"Please, Albus, please... just leave me this chance to actually feel like I will not be a Slytherin."

"I will."

"And Albus. Will we meet again at Hogwarts?"

"I promise, Lea, that however many friends I get, I will not forget you." Albus clasped Lea's hands in his tightly. She made him let go.

"Promise?" She put her hand up for a pinkie promise. Albus did the same. He waved to Lea and ran off to his compartment.

All the new students were shown by the prefects through Hogwarts to the Grand Hall. The new Headmistress, Professor McGonagall sat on what used to be Dumbledore's chair. There the four long tables. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and... Slytherin. The house she hated. She was pretty much destined to be on the table draped with green tapestries. The First Years walked up there. Lea waved to the Slytherin table, where her older brother, Shaun was. Hufflepuffs were chosen, as well as Gryffindors. Lea didn't care about both houses. A boy tapped her shoulder. "Solomon, right? The name of your family?"

"Yes, who are you?"

"Harper. Harper Graves. A Half-Blood. Percival Graves' great-grandson." Harper's name was called, and he came up to the hat. It was placed on his head. The hat, with all of its rips and tears, contemplated on this. Harper's brown hair rustled as the hat shifted. "All those memories... Graves... What a surname... Oh, well. I declare you...a... HUFFLEPUFF!" Harper looked shocked and his hazel eyes widened to the size of saucers. He walked to the Hufflepuff table.

Scorpius was then named a Slytherin, same with his twin, Ana. Albus was trying so hard not to be a Slytherin... but he was, stated by the Sorting Hat itself. Then, Lea's own name was called. She prayed she wouldn't be a Slytherin. "Please... not Slytherin... not Slytherin... not Slytherin." The Hat looked at her own black hair. "Not Slytherin, eh? Just like young Potter. How successful he is now, that I gave him what he wanted. But that is not the case this time. You are a SLYTHERIN!"

"Lea, I'm so sorry," Albus put one arm around Lea's shoulder.

"No, I am. You really didn't want to. Your family aren't even Slytherins at all!"

"You're descended from Merlin. You have such a huge heritage. It's a lot."

"Merlin?"

"Your grandmother. She was a descendant of Merlin. Only the greatest wizard in wizarding history-"

"Oh. How do you know?"

"My mother. Ginny Potter."

"Yes. I get it now. Thank you, Albus." Scorpius put a hand on Lea's shoulder. Lea brushed it off. Stupid son of Voldemort.

5.

Months passed; they were in Second Year now. Albus' family seemed like they weren't ever going to accept him. He had already got into many fights with Lea because of his liking for Delphini Diggory and his Time-Turner adventures. "Albus Severus Potter! You didn't even let me go with you to make sure you were safe! Don't you know that Scorpius is..."

"Voldemort's son? No, Lea. Look at him!" Scorpius was in the corner, calmly reading a book. Lea looked at it. A History of Hogwarts. That WAS an innocent look on his face, right? The son of Voldemort stared into her soulwith those deep grey eyes of his. "Lea, he's my friend."

"And you're my best friend! So, I can't let you get dragged in by some black cloud of evil."

"Well, let me. Because it's not like you're on my side. You're just like my dad. I don't even like you as a friend!" Lea looked as if she'd been hit in the torso. "Sure, thank you, Albus." She walked away into the Slytherin dorm she hated so much. The next day, the two didn't talk at all. First thing in the morning and Lea had already received a Howler from her mother after getting a lower grade than expected in Charms. "Hey, Scorpius." The blonde had already walked up to her.

"My mum... she's really sick. Father's kept it from me, but I know she only has a few weeks to live."

"It's fine, Scorpius. I'm sure she has her own sins... like mating with that vile Voldemort."

"Stop, Lea.. These rumours are all false! I can't even believe you! Lea, cruel and unloving. I would kindly ask you to stop being my friend... I'm only in this for the power of the Solomon family." Scorpius walked away.

Harper Graves came up to her. "Professor McGonagall would like to see you."

6.

Lea came into the office. Albus and her mother stood there. So was Shaun Remus. "Miss Solomon, I'm sure you know all the people gathered here today." Her mother, Aurelia, then spoke. "You know, Lea, that your father was some kind of student in a... hybrid house."

"I'm guessing I'm a Slytherclaw too."

"No, Lea. The Sorting Hat has made its decision," Aurelia stated. "You're some kind of... let's say... Jekyll and Hyde. Slytherin and Hufflepuff. A Slytherpuff." What in the wizarding world was a Slytherpuff? "You get to choose which class you want to go to."

"Where's Father?"

"Auror mission. He's trying to capture some escaped criminals from Azkaban." Shaun Remus put a hand on Lea's shoulder.

"Great job, little sis. I would be thrilled if I was a Slytherpuff." Albus stood haughtily at the corner of the room.

"Slytherpuff rubbish. Lea's not kind at all. In fact, she's the worst person I've ever met." Aurelia Apparated away. Shaun punched Albus.

Both Shaun and Albus fell to the floor, moaning. The Professor stood over them. "I understand, Albus, the pain you feel. I advise you to stop hanging out with Scorpius, for your own good. He is the black cloud seen with you. I agree with Miss Solomon on this."

"Shaun." Lea held out a hand for her older brother.

"Thanks, Lea," he managed to croak out. Albus stormed out of the room muttering curses under his breath. How could Albus walk out on her? She liked him a lot! She liked him more than he could ever think she could!

7.

Anastasia Rose chatted noisily with Lea that night in their dorm. (Yes, they shared one) But Lea wasn't in the mood. "Ana, could you quiet down a bit? I'd like to sleep." But Lea caught wind of the topic Ana was talking about to her. "Wait. What were you just talking about?"

"The Serpent Royalty? It's what they call you, Albus, Scorpius and Harper." Harper Graves was in Hufflepuff, though. Percival Graves was in... what was he in? Lea couldn't remember. She then asked Ana what house Percival Graves was in. "He was schooled in New York. No wonder you don't know, Lea. I thought you were the biggest know-it-all in the school."

"Ana! It's only because my parents make me."

'Aurelia was a maniac at learning. Same with Chase, a Ravenclaw..."

"I don't think they care about me anyway."

"Why? Anyone would like to have your parents."

"Eh. Let's go to sleep." Lea's eyes became dull again, Ana noticing this. "How come, Ana, that I'm a Slytherpuff, (more Slytherin, but ok) but part of the Serpent Royalty? What about Harper Graves?"

"I don't know. Anyway, people ship you together. They think that you two are already engaged."

"How? We're twelve."

"Pure-bloods always make ties with other families when their kids are young."

"Harper is a Half-Blood."

"So am I, Lea, but Father wants me to be 'engaged' to your older brother. I like Shaun, though."

8.

Lea's Arithmancy was absolutely amazing. The professors were dazzled. Her skills were only given to her by her father, which she had always believed. None of her schoolwork skills were created by herself. Her Herbology was fine, much to the liking of Professor Longbottom (her parents' friend, again). Lea's Charms were good, because the Professor was Pearl Sparks herself. Apparently, she was rather sick.

Lea chose to stay with the Slytherins, though she went with Hufflepuff at times to see Harper. Finally, Second Year ended without a single adventure, much to Lea's happiness. But now was the time to go back home to the manor, to hell yet again. Being greeted by her mother, Lea groaned and went with Shaun inside the huge manor that was her house. "Mother? What are the Serpent Royalty?" Aurelia straightened up from feeding Little Zach. "Go ask your father," she simply said. Chase was finally back from capturing the Dark Arts, as usual. "And, Lea, I've got a mission coming up. I won't be here for some of your Third Year.

Lea went to her father's study. Chase Solomon was hunched over some documents that he was totally not struggling with. "Father," Lea started.

"Lea. Welcome back."

"Hello, Father. I need to ask you something, what is the 'Serpent Royalty?'" Her father smiled warmly.

"Well, they existed when your mother and I were in Hogwarts. The Serpent Royalties were rather powerful people,"

"More powerful than Mother, descendant of Merlin and Voldemort?"

"Yes. It means that... you are powerful." The day Lea's mother left for her mission; she had been readied to give something special to Lea. "Lea! I've got something special for you. Please, come." Lea obliged and came over. "This is my diadem. I wore it in Sixth Year, when I had accepted my parents and ancestry."

"Mother, why give it to me now? I'm only Third Year."

"It seemed like the right time. In the hopes that you will find a man-"

"I'M ALMOST THIRTEEN, MOTHER. I DON'T NEED ANYONE, LET ALONE THIS... GARBAGE!" Lea threw the precious diadem to the floor. It shattered into a million pieces, emeralds dropping like green raindrops to the hard ground.

"LEA ASTORIA SOLOMON! HOW DARE YOU!"

"I HATE YOU! I CAN'T EVEN CALL YOU MY OWN MOTHER!" Aurelia sighed and went out the door.

9.

Third Year passed, then Fourth. Albus and Scorpius went on the same missions. Lea excelled without fail. Aurelia was cold to her daughter every holiday. Lea then started spending Christmas at Hogwarts, not popular nor cheerful as before. Gradually, the news of a ball in Fifth Year to announce the Prefects hurled itself along the students. Only 5th, 6th and 7th Years were meant to come.

Harper Graves, identity still unknown, had asked Lea to the ball. Lea happily agreed and set about finding a dress with Ana. When Lea chose a dress, the Ana was already waiting for her outside the shop at Hogsmeade. Lea's dress had a shawl as well, a pastel green one, with a midnight blue evening gown that swayed with any movement. Ana had a green, knee-high dress that puffed in all the right places. The girls decided they would be ready for the ball that night. Harper Graves met Lea at the bottom of the stairs. She placed her hand in his and looked around. There was Ana with Shaun, but no Albus and Scorpius! Probably on their Time-Turning adventures with Delphini Diggory. Wait. Where was Craig Bowker Junior? Normally he was at all these events. Not unless he was severely injured... or dead. Suddenly, Albus and Scorpius appeared out of nowhere. "Lea!" Albus whispered noisily. Lea turned away and began to dance with Harper Graves.

"Lea! Stop dancing with HIM!" Scorpius shouted. Lea grit her teeth.

"Stop. He invited me here."

"NO! He's working with Delphini Diggory! He's erased all your minds!"

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Lea looked around to receive a huge gasp from the crowd, but no one replied. The world around her seemed grey and unmoving, still and lifeless. Harper was the only one moving, apart from Albus and Scorpius.

"Do you know, Lea, who Percival Graves actually was? Here," he said, clicking his fingers. A rush of memory came through Lea. Looks like Harper had brainwashed everyone about his family.

Newspapers with a criminal on their front covers. Wait. The date on the paper was 1926. This criminal was obviously...

GRINDEWALD. Percival Graves was Grindelwald.

10.

Harper cackled. "Oi, Delphini! Take us all to where in time you are now!" The world seemed to twist around Lea, grey and black shapes and vectors spinning anticlockwise, going backwards through time. Finally, the spinning stopped at... a Maze. Albus whispered to her, "Triwizard Tournament. Third Task. The one Cedric Diggory was killed in." Lea nodded.

Delphini Diggory emerged from a nearby shadow, flying without a broom! "I'm more powerful than all of you!" She cackled loudly, then waved her wand and killed... Craig Bowker Junior. Lea shrieked. Then Delphini waved her wand yet again. The three, Albus, Lea and Scorpius were now wrapped in luminous cords. "Delphini!" Albus screamed. "How dare you kill a fellow Slytherin!"

"Oh, it's nothing. I can always kill you three." She cackled next to Harper Graves, descendant of Grindelwald. Then, via telekinesis, the three had a sudden idea. "HELP!" Their united voices cried. "HELP!" Soon, repeated footsteps. Cedric Diggory appeared in the shadow of a huge hedge. "You called? Who are you three? Monsters?"

"You just need to save us. That's the task before the maze," Lea said. Cedric waved his wand, muttered a spell and they were free. He meant to walk away at that moment, but Albus said something strange. Not to the other two, of course, but Cedric didn't know his future yet. "And - Cedric - your father loves you."

"Oh." One of the last words he would say.

11.

The aftermath was too weird to explain, Lea, writing in her diary scrawled. But what mattered is that they got out of the Triwizard Tournament and were back in their time. Albus, Scorpius and she were now pretty good friends, maybe even a trio! Her parents were a lot better with her now, and Zach was now about five.

Shaun had exposed himself about Ana, saying (blurting out) that he liked her in a game of Truth or Dare. Lea was sure that they had got together in the midst of all that action. The Serpent Royalty blood was still a trend in Hogwarts, but not nearly as demanding as it used to be.

There was no ball in the end, because of... yeah, but Lea was going to have so many parties in the coming years. Al and Scorp were sure to be invited, especially because Albus said he had something to tell her just before they left for the Hogwarts Train at the end of Fifth Year.

Aurelia was ecstatic to be given back a fixed diadem, courtesy of Lea herself, but pushed it back into her daughter's hands, saying that Lea would need it for Albus. She had absolutely no idea what her mum was talking about.

Lea hoped that she had no more adventures, as, obviously, she was not a girl like Harry Potter or her mum. Albus and Scorpius agreed, and made a pact to stay unharmed for the rest of their Hogwarts.

And as for you, dear reader, thank you for following my stories. Alas, this is the last book, and this is the ending. So, I cannot thank you enough for reading the garbage I have written for, like, half a year. And thank you, to the real Pearl Sparks, for giving me a chance to actually post this on her account

Goodbye, from the real Aurelia Aquila Riddle.
