Hello so I have been going through my old drafts and I found this fanfic which I'm pretty sure I wrote a few months after Olive and Otto left Odd Squad and I thought well idk if anyone is still reading Odd Squad fanfics but I might as well post it right?

So just as a warning there are a few kisses in this fic hence the T rating (just to be safe) I mostly wrote this as a self indulgent fic for myself since I ship Olive and Otto. And yes I am aware it is a kids show so if the fact of them kissing makes you uncomfortable in any way this is your warning so you can turn back and leave, if not I guess enjoy.

Also if there are any errors or mistakes in this those are all mine, I kinda skimmed it before posting but whatever and if this sucks I apologize in advance.

Ms. O was pacing in front of her desk, or to be more exact, Olive was pacing in front of her desk.

Why was she pacing? Well she was waiting for him. The him she's referring to is the same guy that is her partner and the one who runs this Odd Squad with her.

Otto.

Why was she waiting for him? Well he had been avoiding her like the plague.

He was always there for her when he was just her partner, but ever since they became Mr. and Ms. O they had seemed to be drifting apart and Olive didn't like it one bit.

"I'm gonna get to the bottom of this," she thought out loud.

She didn't understand what was wrong. The only thing that changed were their suits because instead of having a white shirts and red ties and shoes they were now purple. That was the only change in this promotion.

So why did it seem like he didn't want to be around her anymore?

It all started good but after a month of being the head honchos, Otto always found excuses to leave.

One time he said he needed to "inspect" the food in the lunchroom. But he came back from the lunchroom so late that Olive left headquarters by herself that night. They would always walk home together. It was something they started doing after moving to the next town over. Of course him being Otto, Olive thought nothing of it.

Another time he said that he needed to help with the tubes because the tube operator was having "problems" managing the tubes.

Olive started to be suspicious but of course she knew her partner was very helpful, so again she thought nothing of it.

What really did give it away, that he was avoiding her, was when he said he was gonna go "play sports" with some agents. But that didn't make any sense because Olive knew that he didn't like sports.

That was last week but even after that she still hadn't had a chance to talk with him because he had been avoiding her and of all the oddness the villains cause in this town. They had similar villains as the ones in precinct 13579 but they were different in many ways.

Oh, but today there was no way she was gonna let Otto get away from her without having a word first.

Then at that moment the one that was causing her to be pacing, walked in.

Olive stopped pacing and looked at Otto with a glare. Oh if looks could kill, Otto would've been dead by now.

Otto took off his blazer and put it on a coat hanger that was by the door. When he turned around he saw Olive then his eyes went wide because he didn't expect to see her there, especially not with a glare.

"Sorry," he starts. "I didn't know you were in here."

"Oh really?" Olive spat. "You didn't think you'd find me in our office." She gestured to the room.

Otto sighed. "Look if this is how you're gonna greet me then I guess I'll go to this meeting I have."

"A meeting?" Olive asked angrily. "What kind of meeting and why was I not invited to attend this said meeting?"

"Because Olive," he started. "It's just for me and it's important."

"Really? It's important? Then I guess you won't mind me coming along with you."

Otto's eyes widened. He didn't want Olive to come with him because there was no meeting to begin with. Also he doesn't want to be around her because she was causing him to feel things that he shouldn't feel for his partner.

"What? N-no, you can't come," Otto replied.

"And why's that?" Olive asked.

"B-because if you come with me t-then who will run odd squad?" He asked.

"I'm pretty sure Odd Squad can manage for the little while we'll be gone," Olive said as she started to walk to the doors of their office.

"No!" Otto said quickly and blocked the doors with his arms spread out.

She knew her partner was lying because she knew there was no meeting. She checked his journal. He usually writes the things he's got to do everyday in there.

That was another thing that proved to her that he was avoiding her because none of his excuses were in the journal either.

"Otto let me come to the meeting," she started. "Unless there is no meeting and you're lying just to get away from me," she said smugly.

She wanted him to crack and she was sure that by the end of today he would.

"How did she know?" Otto thought to himself.

There was no way Otto was gonna allow her to go with him to a meeting that doesn't exist. And of course that he was not gonna admit to lying about the meeting.

She would kill him.

There had to be a way out of this.

Otto racked his brain to think of some excuse.

Olive walked towards their desk.

"Look Otto," she said as she sat on top of the desk. "You either take me to this "meeting," she said."Or you stay here and don't go." She finished as she crossed her arms. "Your choice."

Otto relaxed his arms, they were getting tired from blocking the door.

He thought over the options he could either take her to a meeting that he could probably organize very fast with some agents he could order to set up or he could stay here with his best friend and partner and the girl he likes.

Ugh both options were horrible.

Well actually the second one wasn't so bad but he didn't know if he could control himself and act normal around Olive.

He didn't understand where these feelings were coming from, anyway.

Because before he would never feel these things and they were working as partners. But back then Ms.O would always yell at them to go solve case after case.

But now he had to be with her in their office every day, that they had to share, because they were the big chief aronies. Not that there was anything wrong with sharing it just that he wasn't used to spending so much time alone with Olive. Well not alone, there was the usual agent that would stop by but other than that he was always with her.

There was nothing wrong with Olive, no. The problem was does Olive feel the same way? He didn't think she did because when he mentioned that being a Mr. O along with her would implicate them being married. She was automatically weirded out. And he was not gonna risk making things weird with her.

He valued their partnership and friendship too much for that.

But he wasn't gonna let her have the satisfaction of seeing him struggle to get out of this one.

Wait, he just realized that Olive said that he wasn't going to be able to go to the meeting if he doesn't let her go with him.

Who does she think she is telling what he can and can't do? I mean he was her partner but they were equals.

"Wait, did you just say that you were not gonna let me go to the meeting if I don't let you go with me?" Otto asked incredulously.

"Yes, Otto, that is exactly what I said," she said as she looked at her nails.

"Umm I'm sorry, have you forgotten who's Mr. O." He gestured to himself. "You can't boss me around."

Olive hopped off the desk to be standing.

"Umm have you forgotten who's Ms. O?" She gestured to herself in the same manner as Otto's. "So yes I can." She countered.

Otto narrowed his eyes and walked closer to Olive to stand in front of her.

"Oh really 'Ms. O,'" he said mockingly. "What exactly are you gonna do to stop me?" He challenged as he put his hands on the desk on either side of her caging her in.

Olive was taken aback. She thought for sure that Otto would've cracked by now but it looks like she was wrong.

"Look 'Mr. O,'" she said mockingly, as well. You can just sit there on the couch and take the easy way or you can disobey me and take the hard way " she challenged back.

They were very close to each other, closer than they have ever been before. Olive and Otto were well aware of this, but neither of them looked like they were gonna back down.

"Well, Olive this easy way sounds tempting but I really want to see what you think your plan of 'the hard way' is, so go ahead and try," he replied.

There was a smirk on Olive's face, not really showing her worry for what she was gonna do to stop Otto from leaving. She didn't plan that far ahead.

An idea came to her. She just hoped it wouldn't blow up in her face.

"Ok, but you asked for it," she answered.

Olive grabbed the collar of Otto's shirt and pulled him down to kiss him.

Otto was caught off guard. He didn't think that Olive was capable of this. She was always so serious but she was usually all bark and no bite but this time she did bite or in this case she kissed.

Olive lips were soft and were warm and felt amazing. He never knew that a kiss could feel like this.

She pulled away and ducked getting out from under his arms that were still on the desk and started to walk away.

Leaving a dazed Otto.

"Well you could leave for this meeting of yours or you could stay here," she said smugly even though she was shaken up that she had kissed Otto.

Otto grabbed her arm before she could slip away.

Olive gasped.

Otto pulled her back in front of him and caged her between their desks and him again. With his hands on her hips.

His eyes were dark and he looked very serious, a look Olive had rarely ever seen on her partner.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked.

Olive's breath hitched. She had never heard Otto's voice like that, but she loved it.

She inched her face closer to his.

"Well I just thought that you wanted to go to your very important meeting," she replied playfully as she moved her arms around his neck.

"Well looks like your hard way has totally convinced me to stay," he said before his lips were on hers again.

They were in pure bliss. All these emotions that they had been holding back were expressed in the kiss, the hurt, the anger and dare she say the love.

Otto picked Olive up and sat her on the desk. Then he moved his hands up to Olive's hair and took off her purple hair band and let her hair cascaded down past her shoulders.

Olive moved her hands from around his neck to his tie and she started to remove his purple tie.

When they both heard someone clear their throat.

They pulled away and froze looking at each other.

"Did you hear that?" Otto whispered.

Olive nodded.

They both hoped it wasn't one of their agents because otherwise they would never hear the end of this because when they first came to headquarters many agents asked them if they were together.

It was flattering to think that they were a couple, but Olive thought that Otto would be weirded out by the idea.

But after their kisses she knew she was wrong, she was oh so wrong.

"Give me my hair band back?" Olive whispered and panicked to Otto.

"No, you look better with your hair down," he replied.

"Otto this is not the time for compliments," she said as she reached for her hair band that was in Otto's hand.

He moved his hand and put it out of reach so Olive couldn't get it.

"Otto stop, seriously." She tried to reach for it, but his arm was longer than hers.

She got an idea that she knew for sure would work.

She grabbed his face and kissed him and of course Otto froze and put his arm close enough for Olive to get her hair band back.

She pulled away and put her hair back in a ponytail

"Oh, no fair," Otto whispered. "You tricked me."

Olive giggled. "Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do," she whispered back.

"You know I'm so lucky to have you."

"No, I'm the lucky one."

They were gonna kiss again. When again they heard someone clear their throat and they also growled.

"Umm hey guys." They heard a voice speak up.

"Wait, I'd know that growl anywhere," Olive whispered.

"And I'd know that 'Hey guys' anywhere," Otto said

Olive looked behind Otto.

"Ms. O?"

Otto turned around

"And Oscar," he exclaimed.

They all went into a group hug.

"Not saying that I'm not happy to see you guys but what are you doing here?" Otto asked once they pulled away from the hug.

"Well since it's been about a while since you guys left so we decided to come visit you," Ms. O answered.

"Also you owe me 20 bucks, Oscar." She turned to Oscar and extended her hand.

Oscar sighed and reached into his lab coat and pulled out a 10 dollar bill. Ms. O took the bill readily and pocketed it.

Olive and Otto were confused. Why did Oscar owe Ms. O money?

"Umm Ms. O why did Oscar owe you ten dollars?" Olive asked curiously.

Ms. O turned to Olive "Oh well he lost a bet we made a while ago."

"What was the bet?" Otto asked.

"That you two would get together once you left to become Mr. And Ms. O."

"What? You guys bet on us?" Olive and Otto exclaimed.

"Well yeah but I thought that you guys wouldn't realize your feelings for each other until later. I guess I was wrong," Oscar replied.

Olive and Otto looked at each other.

"Well actually this happened today." Olive gestured between Otto and herself. "We were actually not on good terms until today so really it looks like Oscar won."

"WHAT!?!" Ms. O exclaimed. "This can't be possible. I never lose a bet."

"Well Oprah there's a first time for everything. Now hand over my money back." Oscar said smugly, putting his hand out.

Ms. O crossed her arms. "You're not getting it back."

Oscar raised an eyebrow. "Oh really, Oprah? I think you should just hand it over and admit you lost or do you want to do this hard way," he asked.

Ms. O's eyes widened. She knew Oscar was capable of making her crack but she didn't want Olive and Otto to know that, but she also didn't want to admit she lost.

"No! And you wouldn't dare," Ms. O narrowed her eyes.

"Oh I think you know that I would," Oscar replied with a smirk.

Ms. O broke into a run and Oscar chased her around Olive and Otto's desk.

Leaving the ex-agents stunned. Ms. O and Oscar never acted like this back at headquarters when they were agents.

Somehow Oscar had caught Ms. O behind their desk and was now tickling her. He had his arms wrapped around her with her back against his front.

"Ok, ok," Ms. O started trying to break free from his grasp but he was too strong.

"You won, you won," she continued laughing. "You can have your money back" she finished breathless.

He let her go and Ms. O got the money and gave it to Oscar.

"I knew you'd come around" he said smugly and kissed her cheek.

The partners watched the whole scene in front of them unfold. They were stunned and they had their mouths opened.

Once Ms. O and Oscar recovered from their little game. They realized they weren't alone.

"Uh oh," Oscar said sheepishly.

"Guys, we can explain," Ms. O said quickly.

Otto turned to Olive. "Looks like you owe me 10 bucks. I told you they were together and you didn't believe me."

Olive reluctantly took out a 10 dollar bill and gave it to him.

"It's just that I've known them longer than you, and I never thought they would like each other," Olive replied.

Ms. O and Oscar walked towards Olive and Otto who were now standing in front of the couches in the center of the room.

"OLIVE. OTTO. How dare you bet on us? Only we can do that," Ms. O said angrily.

"Well 'Oprah' looks like you're not the only ones that can do that," Otto said smugly.

Ms. O gave him a look. She only let certain people call her by her name.

"And since when has Oscar called you Oprah?" Olive asked.

"Oh I can answer that," Oscar started as he adjusted his coat. "She told me to call her Oprah ever since I became the President of the Science Academy, but it's no big deal."

"What? You're president now?" Otto asked, surprised.

"Congrats Oscar," Olive said happily.

"Eh, well it all happened because Obbs, the old president, wanted to take over all Odd Squads but I would've never known if it wasn't for Ms. O so then we-" Oscar started to ramble.

"OSCAR," they all shouted.

"Huh? Oh I'm back. Point is I'm president now," he said proudly.

"Wow so much has happened since we left," Olive said.

"Yeah it's was just like yesterday that we were still solving cases and getting yelled at by Ms. O," Otto said.

"Yeah, good times. But look at us now we've changed so much since then," Oscar said.

"And now we are all together again. And now we don't have to keep us." She gestured to Oscar and herself. "A secret. I was so worried you guys would find out. But it turns out we are better at keeping secrets," Ms. O joked.

"Now that Otto and I are together. I really hope this stays between the four of us," Olive said.

"Don't worry about it, I can keep a secret," Oscar said brushing it off.

"I was actually talking to Otto," Olive replied.

Otto turned to his now girlfriend with a confused look.

"What? Why me? I can keep a secret too," Otto replied.

"Really? Because I'm sure you can-"

"OLIVE. OTTO. BE QUIET. NOW," Ms. O interrupted the bickering couple. "Instead of fighting lets hang out and have fun." She grabbed Oscar's hand and ran towards the door.

"Come on 'Mr. and Ms. O' show us around your headquarters," she said excitedly.

Olive and Otto started to walk towards the door.

Otto whispered to Olive "what's there to show it's exactly the same as her Odd Squad just a few things are different."

"Shh, don't be a party pooper and let's go." She pulled him out of their office. Otto grabbed his blazer from the coat hanger and followed Olive.

The rest of the day they spent with Ms. O and Oscar and it was the most fun they had ever had in a long time.

When Ms. O and Oscar had left it was already late and most of the agents had left home. But Olive and Otto had stayed back to sort a few things out.

Olive was up in their office.

She was fixing some files of a few cases that were solved today and a few other than needed to be solved but those could wait until tomorrow.

Olive thought about today's events especially the ones with Otto. She had a huge grin. She couldn't believe that she had kissed him. She never knew that she had it in her but she was just so tired of Otto avoiding her.

Wait, she realized she never did get to know why he was making up excuses to get away. Also they haven't established if they are actually together or not.

At that moment Otto walked in.

He went towards Olive.

"Well looks like we're the only ones left here. All the agents are gone," he said as he went up to give her a kiss on the cheek.

Olive needed to make sure that there were no secrets between then so with confidence she asked him. "Otto, can I ask you why have you been avoiding me?"

Otto winced and his smile dropped so she figured it out. "Of course she did, she's the smartest girl you know," his mind reprimanded him.

He sighed and moved to sit on the couch she sat down next to him with a nervous look on her face.

"Olive, I was only avoiding you because I have feelings for you and I was scared that you didn't feel the same way so I thought that if I spent less time with you these feelings would go away. I know now that I was wrong," he explained.

"I like you Olive. I do and I want you to be my girlfriend." He stopped himself. "Well that is if you want to. Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked nervously.

Olive was relieved. She thought that he resented her. I mean he was pulled into being a Mr. O because she said that she wouldn't be a Ms. O without him. I guess she was wrong too.

"Of course I want to be your girlfriend, Otto. I like you too. A lot. It hurt to see you less and less because you were always doing something without me."

"I'm sorry," he interrupted.

"Its ok, I see where you're coming from I mean I kissed you today without knowing if you liked me and I was so scared that you wouldn't talk to me anymore after that but I couldn't take it anymore I needed to know if these feelings for you were real or not and the only way I could prove to myself that they were was by kissing you. Also when you said you had a meeting to go to and you said that you wanted to do things the hard way, I panicked," she explained.

Otto laughed. "I guess I probably would've done the same thing."

Olive laughed. "So we're good right?"

"Yes, of course, girlfriend." She loved being called that by him.

"Good, boyfriend." Otto smiled. Those words didn't sound too bad coming out of Olive's mouth.

He leaned in to kiss her.

So they now knew that they were gonna be ok and now especially because they were together. Partners, friends, bosses and boyfriend and girlfriend, always.
