The next day, Harry, Ron and Hermione went down to the Great Hall for breakfast. Ron noticed that Harry and Hermione were unusually quiet. "What's eating at you two?" he asked, eager to know, but neither of them replied. Ginny walked up to them, "You three coming to the library?" "I don't know" Ron answered staring at Harry and Hermione.

Later that night, Harry waited until the homeroom had emptied before going to sit next to Hermione by the fire. "We have to tell Ron" she said not blinking or shifting her eyes from the fire. "Yeah, I know," Harry said depressingly, "But he's not going to like it you know! He really likes you!" Hermione blushed, then stared Harry deep in the eyes, "What about Cho?" she asked sounding very concerned, "What about Cho?" Harry retaliated, very taken back. "Why does she have to be brought between, what we have?" Hermione looked teary eyed back into the fire. Harry sighed. "Look, sorry. I didn't know how much you cared about them." He said trying to defend himself, "Care?" Hermione sound very angry now. "Look, if you are going to be like that, then, you can forget about what happened between us last night because I will never make that mistake again!" she shouted, before storming up the girls stairs and going to bed.
