Multiple waves of destructive energy laid waste to the land of the abandoned planet. Two lights, like shooting stars, seemed to rush toward each other, clashing with dreadful intensity. They pushed back and forth, neither one seeming to gain an edge in this brutal conflict.

"HA!" "HA!" Two voices simultaneously released a loud battle cry, the noise roaring and echoing throughout the planet's vast landscape.

The ground began to rapidly tremble, trees and mountains quickly became destroyed and devastated. The results of the two lights' harmful clash only proved to be nothing but catastrophic.

The duo's large amounts of energy suddenly dispersed, leaving the two sources of such power in the middle of the air, visible to all.

There were two males- each a member of the Saiyan race. Both sported spiky black hair, although not in the same style.

Their clothes were in tatters, bits and pieces of what was presumably their shirts hung low across their waist. But that wasn't it, their bodies were filled with scratches and bruises, bits of blood staining their faces, originating from both their lips and noses.

"D-Damn it.." The man with spiker hair murmured, clearly fatigued from the intense battle that had just reached its conclusion.

"Hehe… Ugh…" The other Saiyan appeared to chuckle, a scene not befitting of his current situation.

"A draw… You won't be so lucky next time, Kakarot…" The man barely managed to speak, although the words that did sneak out of his mouth revealed the other Saiyan's name to be 'Kakarot'.

"Oh, c'mon… I totally won that one. I mean, just look at you and then at me!" Kakarot said, a bit frustrated at the other Man's words.

"You know how this form works, Kakarot. Damage is fuel for my power. I may look like I took more damage at this moment, but if we had drawn that battle out any longer it would have been a stalemate. We would have both passed out due to exhaustion and injury."

"Ah, I guess you are right, Vegeta," Kakarot said with a slight smile, rubbing the back of his neck.

At last, the two Saiyans' names were finally revealed to be Kakarot and Vegeta. The two's strength and power seemed to know no bounds, as their clashes had resulted in the near destruction of an entire planet several times larger than the world known as earth.

"Hmph. You should know by now that I usually am. As much as it pains me to say it, we are equals." Vegeta said reluctantly, crossing his arms tightly over his bare chest.

"Guess so… But I'm definitely beating you next time! Anyway, we should get back to Earth. We need to heal up and get some more training done!" And with that, the Saiyan known as Kakarot placed two fingers on his forehead. The other Saiyan, Vegeta, begrudgingly placed a hand on Kakarot's shoulder. A few moments passed before the two suddenly vanished from the planet's sky.

Elsewhere, on a planet far, far away. A man built like a bodybuilder with the height of a giant charged forward, his fist smacking against the purple palm of the God Of Destruction.

"Ugh! Agh!" The brute grunted loudly, much to the dismay of the God.

"Broly, I will not have you losing control and destroying my very nice planet you idiotic brute! Calm yourself or else I will have no choice but to erase you." The feline spoke with clear authority over the Legendary Saiyan, his threat mostly being just that- a threat.

Broly gritted his teeth, his blank eyes and long spiky green hair giving him an unsettling appearance. Green aura hummed across his arm as he slowly pushed Beerus's palm back.

"..." Beerus sighed, suddenly vanishing and reappearing behind the brutish Saiyan. "Usually I would be happy fighting an opponent such as yourself, but not on my planet!"

A purple aura rapidly rose off of the feline's arm like flames. He raised his forearm, sending a karate chop to Broly's neck.

The Saiyan's eyes widened in realization, but it was too late. He started to shift his body around when he suddenly felt an intense pressure hit him right in the neck, blurring his vision severely.

He shook his head several times, grunting, seeming to have shaken off the move that's sole purpose was to knock him unconscious.

"Oh…?" Beerus smirked, his pointy teeth being showcased as he once again raised his arm. "First you defy my simple orders for you to calm down and not go berserk, which would most likely result in my precious planet's destruction, but then you dare to not bow down beneath my strike..!"

The God of destruction once again shot his hand into Broly's neck, this time using a much larger fraction of his unimaginable power.

"Gah-" The legendary Saiyans mouth was left agape as he was immediately knocked out of his transformation, falling to the ground shortly after.

"If only he knew how to control that strength and power. He would actually provide a greater challenge than even Goku." Beerus spoke with a yawn, slowly floating down to the ground, maneuvering his arms so that they rested behind his back.

Whis, the angel that attended Beerus, simply stood beside the unconscious body of Broly, sporting a gentle smile. "I believe you are correct, my lord. If Broly didn't unfortunately go berserk everytime he went into that form, he would be an unimaginably great opponent for you- pair that with his magnificent ability to adapt at such a rapid pace against anyone he fights…" The angel stopped talking mid-sentence with purpose, accessing Beerus's reaction.

The God glared. "Are you proposing that he could surpass me?!"

The angel chuckled loudly, shaking his head left and right. "Of course not, my lord, I am just saying… If you give him enough time he would be able to make you go all out, although I doubt he would be competent enough to surpass you."

"Hmph. I guess you are right… But you better not be getting any bright ideas about replacing me with him." Beerus spoke with an even more threatening glare.

Whis, unphased by The God's threatening expression that would make all mortals shiver, smirked. "Oh, I would never, you are certainly the best God of destruction… Besides a certain few…" The angel whispered the last part with a knowing look, his lips curling into a smile.

"Hey! I heard that!" Beerus gritted his teeth, raising a clenched fist.

Whis, satisfied with their little chat, sneaked a glance at his staff, the image of Vegeta and Goku arriving on earth visible. "It seems Vegeta and Goku have finished their little sparring match."

"Really? Who won?" Beerus spoke, too lazy to even walk over to the Angel and take a peek at the staff.

"There wasn't a victor, it was a draw." The angel responded quickly.

"Of course it was… Those two, never managing to stay a step ahead of the other for more than a few months. I'll be honest and say it is quite entertaining, their rivalry might just be the greatest in all of the multiverse." Beerus casually admitted, looking back at Broly.

"Maybe if all three of them came at me at once… I'd be able to go all out." The God of Destruction said, just proposing a possible fight, craving a challenge.

Whis smiled. "Actually, that could work… But we must train Broly to a point where he can control that frightening Super Saiyan form of his, or else he'd go berserk and attack both you and his own allies."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just make it happen, Whis. I know you can." The God lifted a hand to his mouth, yawning into it.

"Well, it's about time for a nap." Beerus waved goodbye before floating up and casually flying toward the massive tree-like structure in the middle of his planet, disappearing within it.

Whis remained still beside Broly, observing the Saiyan, patiently waiting for him to wake up.

Unexpectedly, the silence was interrupted by a voice. "S-Soon… A G-God K-Killer will show themselves…" The oracle fish muttered from on top of a staff, half asleep.

The angel, surprised, raised an eyebrow. "A God Killer…? And who might that be?" Whis spoke out loud, not really expecting an answer.

After a few moments of eerie science, the angel sighed, glancing back toward the unconscious brute. "I suppose it's only a matter of time until we find out who this 'God Killer' is. Perhaps it's you, Broly… Or even Vegeta. Maybe a mortal from another universe."

"Ah. No sense dwelling on it, as I said earlier, only time will tell..."

Elsewhere, in a planet familiar to all readers, Goku and Vegeta arrived at the world they called home. They stood in front of the futuristic building of capsule corp.

"Phew, just using instant transmission after a fight like that is pretty draining. We were really cutting it close, any more attacks and I wouldn't have been able to teleport us here." Goku remarked, placing his hands on his hips.

"Hmph, whatever," Vegeta said, crossing his arms tightly over his pecs. He frowned as he realized he was missing a shirt, not to mention the fact that his pants had several holes in them. "I'm going to get some better clothes on, Kakarot. You should do the same."

"Hehe, yeah. My gi probably looks really messed up right now!" Goku sighed, rubbing the bottom of his chin. "But I don't think I can use instant transmission to get to my place, I barely have any energy left. You think Bulma has any extra clothes lying around?"

Vegeta sent a glare at his fellow Saiyan as a warning not to try anything. "Stay out here. I'll go grab you some clothes so you can at least look somewhat presentable. And don't even think about following me in!" The Prince said with gritted teeth before walking into capsule corporation.

A few minutes passed before Vegeta with fresh clothes on could be seen walking out of the building, carrying an orange and black leather jacket. He handed it over to Goku.

Kakarot took it, looking it over. "Hmm… This jacket seems familiar. I think I've worn something like this before, thanks!" Goku pushed his arms into the sleeves, placing the jacket on, looking much more presentable and fashionable.

"You aren't getting any pants, this isn't a handout. Be glad that I even gave you that jacket." Vegeta declared with a stoic face.

"Hehe, that's fine. It's not like my pants are super torn up or anything." Goku smiled, stretching. He wondered what Lord Beerus and Broly were up to; he and Vegeta had left them there, presumably with the intention for the Legendary Saiyan to continue to train and gain control over his powerful transformations. Maybe the two were even fighting, that would definitely be a fun battle to watch!

"Oh, I almost forgot. I found some spare senzu beans that I stashed away a while ago, here." Vegeta handed Goku a single green bean, eating one himself.

Goku's lips curled into a smile. "Thanks, Vegeta!" The Saiyan took the bean, tossing it into his mouth.

The two flexed their muscles, feeling a rush of energy flow through them as all of their injuries were healed and their ki reserves restored.

Vegeta shot a smug look at Goku, clearly being determined to surpass his rival. "I'm going straight to training, Kakarot, and I will surpass you! Just wait, you damn fool…"

"I'm betting on it! You aren't going to be the only one training! I'm not slacking off, not for a single second!" Goku said with a joyful grin, waving goodbye at Vegeta before placing two fingers on his forehead; utilizing instant transmission and teleporting to his house.

The Prince took one last glance at the ground where Goku had once stood before walking inside capsule corp and heading toward the gravity room.

As the Saiyan entered, his eyes immediately landed on the controls for the gravity machine. He walked up to it, instantly placing it to the max of the device's capabilities, which is 999x earth's gravity.

Vegeta quickly got down onto the floor, doing several one handed pushups in quick succession. He jumped back up, considering his short warmup done and walked up to another control panel. He tapped it and about two dozen robot-like machines flew out.

The small drones wasted no time in confronting the Saiyan, releasing several blue lasers and firing them at Vegeta.

The Prince clenched his jaw as he knelt down, avoiding most of the lasers. The last few blue lights quickly approached him from behind; he exerted strength into his legs as he leaped up, pushing through the 999x gravity. Mid-air he noticed two drones were in arms reach; he shot his hands forward, grabbing both at once and crushing them within his powerful grip before landing on the floor.

This went on for about 10 more minutes, debris and sweat accompanied the white-colored floor. "Hmph. This gravity isn't enough, next time I will have to wear weights." Vegeta brushed these thoughts to the side, grabbing a towel and wiping it across his face before wrapping it around his shoulders.

"I could have gone longer but even the healthy senzu beans couldn't stop my body from desiring sleep." And with that, Vegeta exited the training room, moving down the halls and entering his bedroom where he would fall asleep... The day sure had been quite eventful.
