Hello guys
So, I've been spending the past handful of weeks refreshing myself on James Bond films ranging from Sean Connery, a few Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and naturally the most recent, alongside one of my favorites, is Daniel Craig. Really, I put Craig and Connery as about equal to each other.
Onto this short fic, it takes place obviously post Spider-Man No Way Home, and for Bond, after Skyfall. For Craig's fourth film well, the events have not happened yet, and I can quite happily end Craig's run on Spectre.
The No Time to Die film is not part of my collection as I see it as the Terminator Dark Fate film of James Bond franchise.
Onwards.
Closed newspaper warehouse inside Financial District, New York
In a black long-sleeve shirt underneath a dark-colored jacket, and brown pants with shoes James Bond holding his Walter PKK glances at his enemies. Because there are five individuals all holding Chitauri tech rifles, including a female named Xenia Onatopp.
Used to work for Alec Trevelyan, a former Double O agent being a HYDRA plant only decided on killing the man, and taking over the Janus organization. Recently Xenia managed to acquire these weapons from dishonorable discharged Sergeant Brad Whitaker, who he took down an hour back in Queens for leaving him to be arrested by Felix.
"I apologize Mr. Bond but your time ruining my plans is ending. I have a delivery meeting with a supplier and do not have time for us to make your exit more enjoyable" Xenia says.
Bond merely keeps quiet while glancing between the gunrunners when suddenly an interruption occurs.
"Running from my backyard doesn't mean I don't follow and using illegal alien weapons is overkill. Cut the real Ethan Hunt some slack" a voice quips "Law-abiding gun users have enough issues from politicians or whackos such as yourselves."
All the men turn noticing Spider-Man in the rafters as they open fire while the webhead expertly swings about including turning, flipping, and other seamless gymnastics to avoid getting hit.
Meanwhile, James rapidly kills Xenia with a headshot before dispatching two more with bullets into their chests.
Simultaneously Peter landing on the ground quickly fires webbing onto their hands preventing two of the men from shooting, before sending two impact web blasts onto their chests sending them to fly back pinning the men to a steel pillar. Spider-Man walking over hits the goon's heads knocking them unconscious.
Looking around to see the bodies "I guess they'll print anything these days" Peter quips.
Placing his handgun back in its shoulder holster Bond smirks because has always appreciated the younger man's wit. Making comments, in certain cases either to cope with stress or personal amusement like him.
Also knows how Peter, unlike what some people probably think of Spider-Man, is not a boy scout despite the outfit's colors. Instead, the outfit not just being protection also has an element of fear because it's a spider. One of nature's most deadly killers, unsettling him.
The experience in Jamaica regarding an assassin sent by Dr. No's using a tarantula in an attempt to kill him while sleeping, didn't help. Regarding the madman, well Bond briefly recalls breaking Dr. No's neck after a fight ending any plans for hacking into US and Russia's nuclear missile stations.
Plus, Peter quietly shared for killing Thanos's goons during the whole Elektra mess some months back. Elektra King being an insane power-hungry psychopath wanting to push through eliminating fossil fuel policies worldwide, including destroying oil operations all to make her clandestine oil more valuable. And Elektra thought just cause they slept together, before quickly putting the pieces together for the woman being behind on the attacks, meant would be spared from killing her.
Sure, Peter tries to achieve the best possible outcome, will not give up on people like when saving the other earth villains from themselves. Like years ago, in telling Q for knowing a trigger not needing to be pulled. Something Peter understands, but does not live his life by those extremes. Or as Michelle Jones quipped that Spider-Man does not dress like a bat when they discussed if the nature of his job in killing enemies would be problematic.
Regarding, MJ, as the woman prefers, on remembering who her lover's identity is due to Dr. Strange giving Peter a final gift for the memory wipe, and excluding her when casting the spell.
The same spell that pulled him out of another earth following the initial multiverse cracks where he met one of his doppelgangers who had run around in the Cold War and had taken on various enemies, including various ones belonging to a terrorist group called of Spectre. However, his doppelganger eventually retired after marrying Teresa "Tracy" Draco, although does still help on a freelance basis.
Because of the unpredictable nature of the multiverse travel is he did get put backward in time on this other earth, or maybe is just that earth's present? The science elements are more something both versions of Q would relish.
Of course, remembers a couple of years ago when Beck revealed who Spider-Man was alongside Peter with his family, and friends getting arrested by corrupt Department of Damage Control agents. Only the late May Parker contacted Mallory who was the agent having worked alongside the vigilante's parents Richard and Mary Parker who were CIA operatives years ago. The former SAS operative had considered the Parkers close friends and was saddened about their deaths in a plane accident.
M used some political connections, alongside the basic fact of Beck's entire actions took place in London, and sent him in for a routine mission of shutting down the DODC operatives. Thankfully was able to get Peter and anybody connected with him clear of all charges brought on by the DODC. Suddenly Bond is brought out of his musings when hearing a familiar voice.
"Hey, are you okay?" Peter inquiries.
"I'm fine" Bond replies "I'll have this cleaned up."
"Appreciate it, and I've got to get going," Peter says, "Take care of yourself."
"Likewise," Bond replies.
Spider-Man nods before turning with firing a web through an old, broken ceiling window pulling himself upwards. Log in a couple of more hours of patrol before checking in with MJ at the PI business, and getting her to accept a break. Who would ever think it wasn't him being a major workaholic in their relationship? Certainly not him.
Perhaps after dinner is thinking of playing catch up on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles show as after all that was a worthwhile contusion of the first two films, Peter notes. MJ particularly hates John Connor getting turned into a Terminator in Genisys, and made only worse in the Dark Fate film killing him off. Not that he blames her for sharing a similar dislike for this writing stupidity. Even Terminator Rise of the Machines or the fourth film is not as bad compared to Genisys or Dark Fate.
Really feels like John Conner at times for a teenager into young adult shaped by outside tragic forces into a hero. While maybe not always the happiest would rather personally carry the burden then let somebody else else suffer.
Although Peter knows to say that leading this life because there's not a part that finds a certain level of enjoyment is false. When momentarily quit being Spider-Man following the ferry mess all those years ago Peter reflects on how miserable it was. How partially felt without purpose, and the fact of some people are just not cut out for living in the normal world.
It's one reason Peter knows James, one of his few trustworthy friends, keeps living in the world they inhabit. Also, regarding Bond of could easily see himself going down that route. A caring heart against injustice buried under layers of cynic armor. James wearing of dress suits, for example is no different than the outfit that he uses. The man's lethal habits is something Peter can understand yet rather not spend much consideration on that topic.
Pushing those thoughts aside Peter refocuses on present matters while swinging away.
Exiting the building Bond causally yet purposefully walks to his parked Aston Martin DB5 where upon opening the door removes an ear device from his pocket placing it in his right ear. Taping once to open the channel the agent patiently waits.
"Q here. What's your status?" the man answers.
"Xenia alongside her crew were on the way to a funeral" Bond replies.
"The weapons?" Q asks.
"Are not going be a problem. I used the explosives you gave me" Bond says.
"Understood 007. I'll have a flight booked for you first thing tomorrow morning, and have already contacted Felix Lither for cleaning up operations" Q says.
Removing the earpiece Bond places it inside his pocket. Causally fixing his tie Bond gets into his car with closing the door driving off.
Hope you all enjoyed this and leave a review letting me know what you think.
Yes, the other earth Bond is clear Sean Connery with a touch of George Lazenby in the On Her Majesty's Secret Service film for Tracy actually surviving.
Like Bond is driving an Aston Martin, clearly a car got from Q, then it has bullet proof windows.
On what other films like if any of the Roger Moore films such as Live and Let Die still occurred, I'm leaving that up to the imagination.
Until next time
