A/N: For the love of god, I do not own these two franchises. They belong to 20th Century Fox, Sega, and Paramount.

It was a normal day in San Francisco. But all of a sudden, a hovercraft was attacking a blue hedgehog speeding through the streets but the chase paused.

"So, I know what your thinking." The Sonic narrator began. "Why is that incredibly handsome hedgehog being chased by a madman with a mustache in a civil war."

The chase proceeds. "Well, to be honest, it feels like I've been running my whole life. Is this too much? Am I going too fast? It's kind of what I do- you know what? Let's back up.

This reverses back to five years ago

Set on an island, a blue hedgehog was seen speeding through the island.

The narrator Sonic began again. "This is the island where I'm from. It had everything. Sandy beaches, cascading waterfalls,"

Sonic ran through a loop-de-loop. "Public access to loop-de-loops, and I never had to catch a school bus because I could run across the whole island."

We see a baby Sonic running cutely. "Also, there was no school. I know pretty sweet island, right?"

"Yeah." Young Sonic shouted in the air. "I was born with extraordinary powers and was told to keep them secret and was told to keep them secret. And like any kid, I did the exact opposite."

Baby Sonic dashed into his habit and jumped on her mother figure. "That's longclaw. She took care of me."

Baby Sonic laughed. "She was basically the Oni-Wan Kenobi... If Obi-Wan Kenobi had a beak and ate mice."

"Sonic, someone could've seen you," Longclaw warned him sternly.

"No one saw me," Baby Sonic replied bravely. "I'm too fast! And I wanted to give you this."

Baby Sonic gave a sunflower to Longclaw. Longclaw suddenly saw an Echidna tribe loaded with bows and arrows. She closed the door.

"Turns out with great power," The narrator Sonic started. "Comes great power-hungry bad guys. And I let them right to us."

Longclaw flew out of the window, but got hit by an arrow on the way and dropped on the floor along with Baby Sonic. The owl wanted to say her final words to Sonic. "Listen carefully, Sonic. You have a power, unlike anything I've ever seen. And that means someone will always want it. The only way to stay safe is to stay hidden." She told him.

Sonic looked a bit worried but got more nervous when Longclaw took out a ring that opened a portal.

"This world is on the far side of the universe. You should be safe there."

"I don't want to go without you." He whined.

"You must." Longclaw handed him a bag of rings and a map. "These rings will be your most important possession."

Longclaw spotted the echidna tribe dashing at them. "If you're ever discovered, use them. Never stop running. Now go!" She alerted him.

Sonic went through the portal and started running but when back. "Longclaw!"

Longclaw responded, "Goodbye, Sonic."

"NO!"

As Sonic ran to the portal, it disappeared once Sonic reached it. "NO!"

Sonic took deep breathes.
