The next week comes fast and Blaine works, his mind already with the glee club later.

When it's time Blaine goes to the locker room, changes and fixes his hair in the mirror. On his way to the car he stops to get a coffee to go from Meggy to get some more caffeine in his body before he dances and sings with a group of teens.

As fast as the week comes it's over again but it was an amazing week.

They danced and sang. They did some vocal training and grew closer as a group. They made amazing progress and even Mr. Schue is amazed.

When they end the week Friday with a last song Mr. Schue announces "Nationals get ready for us! New York here we come!". Everyone cheers loudly. Everyone besides Blaine.

After Mr Schue thanked Blaine for helping, the nurse says goodbye and he and Kurt drive home where they cook late lunch, both starving from too much dancing.

"You didn't tell me that the Nationals are in New York" Blaine says while eating. Kurt shrugs "Didn't thought it's very important". "But you would go with them just like Finn did or not?" the older man asks and Kurt nods "Yes but it's not on a day I have theraapy because were back by then and you have to work anyway".

"You think this is about you travelling for a few days without telling me yet?" Blaine asks and the other man nods "I don't know what else it could be about and I would've told you tomorrow at dinner". "Kurt that's not what this is about. I'd be okay if you only would've told me tomorrow. This is not about me" Blaine says.

Kurt raises his eyebrow "What else would this be about hm?". "Kurt think about the last time you were at the airport and had to get into a plane. Remember what happened?" the older man asks. He tries to be calm with Kurt but this definitly starts leading to an argument.

"Believe it or not but I remember very well what happened at the airport. But I'm in therapy now so everything is fine and I'll go to New York with the kids and watch them perform at Nationals" Kurt says. Blaine doesn't believe in him. That must be.

"I just don't want you to get dissapointed when you're at the airport and realize that you were going to hard on yourself and can't do it. I don't want you to come to me, crying like the last time because you tried to hard" Blaine tries again to talk some sense into Kurt but he's too stubborn. The younger man stands up in rage, half yelling at Blaine "Just tell me you don't believe in me!".

Blaine has no time to reac anymore because Kurt takes his keys, puts his shoes and jacket on and leaves the apartment without another word and Blaine speechless.

He only wanted to help Kurt. Protect him. Of course he believes in him but a trauma can't just vanish after about two month of therapy and he needs to take it step for step. Else Kurt maybe gets dissapointed next week.

Knowing that Kurt wirst needs to calm down and probably needs some space Blaine cleans the kitchen and goes to his room. He changes into some comfortable clothes, takes his gloves and starts boxing. This is what he needs to calm down again after their fight.

It was a fight right? It felt like it. They fought once. As friends. But if this really was a fight then they just haad their first fight as a couple. And it endedd with Kurt storming out of Blaines apartment.

When Kurt comes home he almost completely calmed down again. He just drove around for a while so when he comes home he feels a bit better and less obvious to his family. They don't need to know that Blaine and he had a fight. That's between them only.

So at home he ust goes to his room and works on NYADA stuff. During these intern years that every NYADA student has to do at some pointthey ned to make a report about their experiences and everything. And even tho Kurt already started, he didn't really came far yet.

He rather used his time to prepare for Nationals, spend time with his family, Huntbastianand Blaine. But now, the time that he usually would spend with Blaine, he can work on the report.

At dinner he casually chats with his family and tells them about his day and keeps Finn updated on the progress the kids made.

When he's done Burt asks "So did you tell Blaine that you'll be away for three days next week?". "I wanted to tell him tomorrow" Kurt says, pretendng that they haven't already. "Ad you're sure it's not too last minutes when you already go on Monday?" Carol makes sure.

"Yeah that's why I told him before I came home" Kurt answers and adds "He just said that he wishes us all the luck and says that I should keep him updated". Nobody needs to know that this was a lie.

It's strange for Blaine to work on a Saturday but actually not that bad. On weekends the patients getmroe visitors because those who work have time at the weekends for their loved ones. So there wasn't much to do for the patients and Blaine can enjoy his break stress free.

More or less. The fight with Kurt still bothers him and he didn't slept well so once again he's grateful for Meggy and her coffee.

Kurt didn't called or texted. Nor did he respond to Blaines good night and good morning text. So apparently they're not talking at the moment.

"Hey Blaine" Monica greets the young nurse at the counter and he greets back "Hey". "We didn't really got to talk over week. How was the whole glee club thing?" the head nurse asks and Blaine answers "Good. I had a lot of fun with the kids and I think they really made a progress and have a chance at winning the competition".

"That's great news" Monica answers but after seeing Blaines unimpressed face she asks "Is everything alright?". "Yes. No. Kurt and I had an argument yesterday because he wants to go to the competition with the kids" Blaine answers. Monica ad he get along well so he can open up to a more experienced nurse.

"And that's bad because?" the nurse asks and Blaine tells "It's in New York and Kurt thinks that after two months in therapy he's ready to get into a plane again. I just don't want him to get disappointed if he can't but he doesn't understand". "I see" Monica mumbes "You wanted to protect him".

"Exactly" Blaine says "And now we're not talking". "Give him time. He'll realize eventually" the head nurse says and Blaine asks "So I'm not ging to Sunday brunch to his family tomorrow?". "Say you have other plans" the nurse says and shrugs.

"Like what?" Blaine asks. The Hudson-Hummels know that he doesn't really have anything else to do. "Remember my son who came by a few times?" Monica asks and continues when Blaine nods "He likes you so how would you like if you come to our house for Sunday brunch?".

"Monica you don't have to-" Blaine starts but the nurse cuts him off "I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't want you to come. Do you want something special? Besides coffee of course?". The young nurse laughs "No. Coffee is fine and I'll take what you have. Thank you so much Monica".

"No problem. Now how about I take over on those files and you check up on the crazy flower lady in 314?" Monica proposes and Blaine nods "She's better than those files".

Smiling Blaine stands up and goes back to work. Monica laughs and sits down where Blaine just sat to work on those files.

After work Blaine calls the Hudson-Humels, telling them that he can't make it to brunch because his boss invited him and he can't say no to her because she did so much for him.

At first Kurt was disappointed that Blaine doesn't come but then he remembers that he's still mad at him so he shrugs it off and concentrates on his NYADA report and Nationals.
