Harrys First Year

The final classes of the first week of the first term had just ended. As students began to head to their common rooms, discussing weekend plans, the teachers all made their way to the staff room. When Minerva Mcgongall arrived Fillius was already sitting on his pile of cushions at the table, allowing him to be of equal height with the others when they sat down.

"Fillius." Minerva said in greeting as she took a seat at the table.

"Oh, this is just one of my favorite times of the year!" He said in his rather squeaky voice.

"Oh, I must agree!" Pomona Sprout said as she walked through the door. Her robes frayed at the cuffs, stained with what Minerva hoped was only dirt.

"Oh, I guess it is rather fun." Minerva said, surprising the other two teachers, who didn't know Minerva thought anything was fun.

"Fun. Please, as if I don't have anything more important to do. Why we continue this insufferable tradition is unknown to me." Severus Snape said in his drawling voice and (as you probably guessed) with a sneer.

"Then why do you come if you have more important things to do ?" Minerva asked him. When he didn't reply the rest of the teachers smiled.

Within five minutes all of the teachers had arrived at the staff room. Fillius stood up on his pile of cushions.

"Excuse me, could I have everyone's attention?" Filius began "Now for our new Profesor, Quirinus Quirrell I will go over what we discuss in our first staff meeting of the year. Our students love life." He said this in such a matter of fact way that some of the teachers couldn't help, but to snicker. Flius continued his explanation."Every year we choose one first year to place bets on who he or she will end up with. We vote on the said first year and then place our bets. You may place your bet in the beginning of the students 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year. The longer you wait the more money you must bet. For example if you were to place your bet this year you would need to put in 3 galleons, next year it would be 5, and the year after that 10. The person who is correct at the end of the students' time at Hogwarts then wins the money. Any questions?" No questions were asked.

"Now I must suggest an obvious candidate," Minerva told the teachers, "What do you think of following the love life of young mister Potter?"

"I was thinking the same thing." Pomona said.

"What! I do not want to hear about the tyrant's love life for the next seven years!" Severus snapped.

"Let us put it to a vote, all in favor of watching Mr. Potters love life unfold, raise your hand." Aurora Sinistra said. All raised their hands other than Severus. Even Quirinuss' shaky hand went up.

"Brilliant! Harry Potter it is!" Fillius said excitedly, before pulling out a piece of parchment and a quill. People began to place their bets. They were as follows.

Aurora Sinistra: Parvati Patil

"They seem to get along quite well in classes." Sinistra said as she wrote down the name.

Charity Burbage: Unsure

Bathsheda Babbling: Unsure

"Neither of us have him in our classes, we'll have to wait a little longer until we decide." Charity said as she watched Bathsheda write an identical unsure to her own.

Filius Flitwick: Lavender Brown

"I just have a feeling." He said at the others raised eyebrows

Minerva Mcgonagall: Unsure

Pomona Sprout: Hermione Granger

"He always listens to Miss. Grangers rants about what she has been reading, not any of the other students can bear it."

Quirinus Quirrell: Unsure

Rolanda Hooch: Unsure

Septima Vector: Unsure

Severus Snape: Blank

"Please, I will never place a bet on Potter. He's too arrogant to end up with any girl." Severus sneered.

Silvanus Kettleburn: Unsure

Sybil Trelawny: Susan Bones

"It is unfair of me to participate in such an event with the access I have to events in the future yet if you insist I see a Susan Potter in our future." Trelawny said in her theatrical voice as many of the teachers stifled their laughter.

Wilhelmina Grubbly-Plank: Unsure

"Well there you have it! Now onto the next year!" Filius said as he rolled up the scroll and took the jar in which currently held 12 galleons.

First Year: The Night After Halloween

The four heads of houses sat in the common room, once again taking seats around the oak table.

"I tell you, I'm right. How many boys would rescue a mountain troll unless they have feelings for the girl?" Pomona was telling the other three.

"I don't know Pomona, they are only in their first year." Minerva reasoned.

"Yes it seems like something Harry's Father would do." Filius said.

"Yes, both seem to feel the need to be a hero, no matter how stupid they are." The slytherin head of house said. The other three teachers simply rolled their eyes.

Harrys Second Year

Once again the teachers could be found in the staff room discussing the love life of their students. As they moved on from the current first years, they had chosen Colin Creevley as their student, they began to discuss Harry Potter.

"Lockhart, who do you think Harry will end up with." Minerva could care less, but decided it would seem impolite for his opinion not to be asked.

"Oh I suspect Mr. Potter will end up with young Ginny Wealsey. She is always fawning after him. I have seen many become love struck with their admirers." The other teachers didn't agree with this, yet still wrote down his response and collected his gold. Whatever makes the prize pot bigger, they thought. The teachers who were yet to fill in their response still were unsure of who Harry would end up with.

"One more year left to decide." Fillius reminded them.

Harrys Third Year

The teachers had written down their response for the 1st and 2nd years and were once again moving on to Harry Potter.

"Lupin, what is your opinion? Since this is your first year of teaching you only need to place in 3 galleons." Minerva asked after Filius read off the current bets. They had made Gildroy put in six, but judging by Lupin's washed out robes it looked like Lupin didn't have ten galleons to spare.

"Now don't laugh, but I must agree with Gildroy. I wouldn't be surprised if Harry follows in his fathers footsteps and falls in love with a red head. Ginny Weasley is where I put my money." He said as he placed 3 coins into the money jar.

"I think Harry ends up with Hermione. Ginnys still a little too taken with Harry if you ask me. Harry doesn't like much attention. I bet he ends up with Parvati, that ones always nice to him in the past." Hagrid told the teachers, also placing some money onto the jar. The remaining teachers who had yet to write a name down did so. The bets were as follows.

Aurora Sinistra: Parvati Patil: 3 galleons

Charity Burbage: Hanna Abott: 10 Galleons

Bathsheda Babbling: Hermione Granger: 10 Galleons

Filius Flitwick: Lavender Brown: 3 Galleons

Minerva Mcgonagall: Parvati Patil: 10 Galleons

Pomona Sprout: Hermione Granger: 3 Galleons

Quirinus Quirrell: Unsure: 0 Galleons

Rolanda Hooch: Padma Patil: 10 Galleons

Septima Vector: Lavender brown: 10 Galleons

Severus Snape: Blank: 0 Galleons

Silvanus Kettleburn: Unsure: Galleons

Sybil Trelawny: Susan Bones; 3 Galleons

Gildroy Lockheart: Ginny Weasley: 6 Galleons

Rubeus Hagrid: Parvati Patil: 3 Galleons.

Remus Lupin: Ginny Weasley: 3 Galleons

Fourth Year: The night after the Yule Ball

The teachers crowded around the table. The Yule Ball had shed a lot of light on how some of the older students' love lives were going.

"Seems like Aurora, Hagrid, and I may just win after all." Minerva told the group.

"I wouldn't be so sure. Harry asked Parvati quite at the last minute." Filius said.

"We will see, we will see." Aurora said.

Fifth Year: Valentines Day

"Got to hurry before the old toad finds us." McGongall said to the other teachers.

"Can you believe it! Where did Cho Chang come from!" Pomona said aghast. Bathshed turned to her,

"I know, since when has Harry been into Ravenclaws!"

"Ehem, what is wrong with Ravenclaws?" Filius asked in mock anger.

"She's coming, everyone quiet!" Rolanda Hooch called from the doorway, as she saw a short lady in pink marching up the hall.

Sixth Year: The day after Grifindor wins the house cup

The teachers sat on their one long table in the great hall, exchanging stories from the previous Quidditch match. Severus pouted at his end of the table.

"Oh, my." Filius said.

"Am I seeing things?!" Pomona asked.

"Ginny Weasley?!" Charity Burbage asked, shocked as she saw Harry and Ginny walk hand in hand into the hall.

The day after the battle ofHogwartsThe remaining Hogwarts teachers walked down Hogwarts' broken halls discussing the next steps to repair the schools.

"Let's sit down, my legs are killing me." Filius said as he had to jog to keep up with everyone's much longer legs.

"Oh, Sorry, Fillus." Mcgonagall said and she turned to open the nearest classroom so they could take seats, however as she opened the door she stood in shock for a moment. Harry Potter and Ginny Weally were snogging on one of the tables. They didn't seem to notice all of their professors were watching them.

"Ehem." McGonagall Coughed. The two teenagers jumped apart from each other looking sheepish.

"Sorry Professor." Ginny said, coming to her wits first.

"Yeah, sorry." Harry echoed, before they swept past their teachers into the hall. The professors watched as the young couple buried away from them.

"Lupin and Lockheart were right." Hagrid said.

"Lockheart is not getting the money." Minerva said sternly.

"Teddy will, when he's old enough." Pomona said as the others nodded trying to stop from crying.

AN: First ever one shot I did. It's a little silly and you may not like it but I had fun writing it and wanted to share! The teachers first and last name were found on a wiki article but they all seemed correct! Did I miss any points in Harrys love life that you think I should have mentioned?
