If you don't know this is technically a rewrite of an older story I made more than a year ago, it was even worse then and it sucked in general. The whole concept is basically Ichigo being death sensei even if it's actually a lot deeper than that. This whole chapter is basically a short history lesson of the story and it's here so you can realize how strong the gods are and how much stronger Ichigo is. The next chapters won't be a history lesson they'll actually have scenes.

UPDATE: I don't know what the hell happened, I spell-checked this, previewed it, and edited it and it was normal but I ended up getting a bunch of reviews about the numbers, and low and behold these random numbers appeared out of nowhere, I hope what I did has fixed it.

A being completely covered in a black smoky cloak other than its lower face hands and feet sat alone in a pitch-black room, the only accessory to the room was the pitch-black throne he sat on and four colorful posters encased in glass.

The being's hands and feet weren't hands or feet but actually sharp claws that could tear through diamonds like a hot knife through butter.

As for the lower half of its face, the only thing that could be seen was the mask, the right side was shaped like a human skull but made of gold, and the left side was shaped like a white skull with a black stripe running down the middle.

The being had existed for so long that there wasn't even a named number to describe his age. This beings name was Ichigo Kurosaki, he had many nicknames and titles, king of the dead, king of death, true death god, god of death, death sensei, the grim reaper, and the hero of the winter war, there were so many he'd lost count.

The being sat on the throne as still as a statue. He reminisced of a time long ago when gods were as common as flys and death was a make-believe concept and a time even before that, his time.

A single man destroyed everything, his family, his friends, every soul but his own, the very fabric of reality, Yhwach the father of all Quincy, destroyed everything in his foolish attempt to bring the world back to its primordial deathless form.

Sadly Ichigo was too weak to stop him in time. After Yhwach killed the soul king everything collapsed on itself and Yhwach and Ichigo were the only souls left alive, everything else was reduced to an endless void of Reshi.

The two godlike beings clashed for a very long time, if time was a concept that existed at the time (lol) they would have fought for millions of years. However eventually Yhwach gave up, neither of them could die, they would regenerate any damage and they had endless stamina but that didn't mean they had endless willpower.

Yhwach gave in before the thought even crossed Ichigo's mind, he was dead set on ending the man that had destroyed his everything. Ichigo might not be the best name anymore as he had fused with his sword's spirits and the Hogyoku, calling him Ichigo wouldn't be wrong but it wouldn't be correct either.

Yhwach sacrificed his immortal soul in order to create a new world, a deathless world just as he desired.

The world he created was very different then Ichigo's original, it wasn't just one world with multiple dimensions it was an infinite multiverse with infinite timelines, worlds, and possibilities.

Ichigo soon found himself in the universe that would later be labeled the primordial universe since it wasn't linked with the others and it was the birthplace of all the original gods.

Not long after Yhwach's "death" he created his own fully inhabitable solar system with a snap of his fingers and unfused himself from his spirits.

His depression was too much to bear and he ended up wallowing in guilt and despair for around twenty years. Then he started training, not to grow stronger but to have better control, he'd already destroyed his planet on accident many of times.

Soon came and by soon I mean a few thousand years later, what he named "the birth of the gods" happened. A large storm of reishi appeared and created a god for everything, the strongest ones were fire, water, earth, wind, time, space, light, darkness, nature, chaos, civilization, and life, those were the strongest out of the tens of thousands that had been "born."

There wasn't a single god of death. Ichigo chose to let the beings do what they want and self-isolated himself to his planet where he refined his control over his power even more and even created new powers.

After a while, the gods started creating lower life forms, animals, and the like but it didn't take long for them to create humans, and it wasn't just in the primordial universe, they'd spread their creations to millions of the universes.

It didn't take long for their creations and even the gods themselves to start fighting, but death wasn't a thing so for the most part they just wreaked havoc on each other and made others miserable.

Soon began what was later named "The war of the gods," this could be considered the first major conflict where thousands of universes were wiped off the map, unfortunately for the inhabitants, they couldn't die so they ended up being left in the destroyed universe were their entire existence became pain.

After much deliberation, Ichigo chose to fuse back with his spirits and bring death to the world, he wouldn't let Yhwach get his last laugh and wouldn't let the weaker beings suffer because they couldn't die.

His first appearance had two names "The emergence of death" and "The culling of the gods." When he appeared he introduced the concept of death to the gods, who of course tried to fight back but they were quickly sent to his newly created realm of death named Shi.

He killed millions of gods to get his point across but when he was done they finally understood the inevitability of death.

From there the concept of death and the afterlife was created. If one's karma was too low they'd be put in hell, if it was high they'd go to heaven, if it was neither they'd be reincarnated. (Of course, that's an oversimplification)

Ichigo even allowed the other gods to create their own forms of the afterlife as long as they followed specific standards so that their followers could go to their afterlife.

From then on he became feared, every god even new ones would fear death and his almighty power.

From then on he lived his life like a robot, he'd sit on his thrown like a statue unless he had to beat down some cocky gods or manage his domain, death in the entirety of the multiverse.

One day all the extra reiryoku and reishi in his thrown room followed his wish for companionship deep in his soul and acted on its own to create something, his daughter.

When she was born she was tiny, he could easily fit her whole head in his hand, she had a small amount of bubblegum pink hair on her head, pinkish red eyes, pale fair skin, and a toothless smile that made even the likes of deaths frozen heart melt.

Death created a black blanket with a wave of his hand and swaddled the baby with it, "Born on April fourth huh? Ironic."

The little baby stared up at him with shining pinkish-red eyes and babbled out "Dada."

At that moment death himself swore to kill anyone personally if they so much as looked at the little girl in his hands wrong, his daughter.

"I think Calliope Mori Kurosaki will fit you perfectly."

I said it up top but I'll say it again, this is a rewrite/reimagination of an old story I used to write. I'm doing it mostly for fun but reviews would still be very appreciated so I can try and improve.

I know middle names aren't really a thing in japan but I wanted her to have one so yeah...

Also if you're expecting me to return to any of my other stories I'm sorry but I just don't have the time rn tho I do wanna write more just finding the time to write this was annoying and on my days off I never wanna write cause I'm sore and tired. I do wanna return to the old stories at some point tho I just don't know when.

Seeya! review if you can.
