A huge Wedding was being put together right in front of the clock tower on Saint Marcus Day.
It was gonna end up raining on their Wedding day.
"Do you seriously want to get married in the rain?"
"Well, when else can we do it?"
"We are gonna get our kid sick."
"She's got her big ole' Dad to protect her."
"What about the humans in attendance?"
"We'll ser tents up over the chairs."
"That's-"
"And if they got a problem with it, they can discuss their issues with me."
"Or you could just have it inside the clock tower." It was Alice.
"You can get married inside a clock tower. I'm not. Dusty and dirty. And a white dress? Do you think those go together?"
"Never mind."
She chuckled.
"They are never gonna let that happen." Edward pointed out.
"Technically, that's where you saved each other's lives."
"No. I'd rather revive James than ever ask for anything from them." Bella adamantly told them.
"They might not let it happen if you ask him. But I can be very persistent and annoying."
"They want the both of you more than anything. Use that as a bargaining chip."
"Why would you ever tell her that?"
"What-"
"This is Alice we're talking about."
"I know."
"I seriously don't think you've changed over the past 100 years. You're still the 17 year old Carlisle turned."
"Wow. Ouch."
It was meal time.
"I didn't- I didn't mean that."
"You sounded like you meant it."
"Well, I guess you just don't know, do you?"
"I guess always persuade you to let your Shield down."
"Not here. Not anywhere near Italy."
"You can't go in there, Mrs. Cullen!"
"Let them consider this as an old friend stopping by."
"You can't-"
"They're not gonna hurt me, Sweetheart. They can't."
"Well, I definitely give her props for bravery." Caius pointed out.
Alice pushed open the throne room doors.
"Don't you ever get sick of our annual showdowns, Alice?" Jane questioned, having finished.
She stuck her nose up.
"Is there something you need, Alice?"
"Bella and Edward want to get married in Volterra."
"It's a beautiful City to do that in."
"It definitely wouldn't be my first choice of a City to get remarried in. Not that Jasper would voluntarily return. Without one of us threatening him. He doesn't like it very much."
"Threatening him with what?" Alec questioned.
"He has everything under the God damn sun."
"Maria. I swear. If I ever see her, I'm gonna kill her."
"Well, clearly, she did something to piss you off."
"Jasper was in charge of her Newborns. Until he broke free of her."
"Mm."
"So, what do you need, Alice?"
"It's gonna rain on their scheduled Wedding date."
"Mm-hmm."
"And they want to get married somewhere in Volterra that holds a memory."
"Mm."
"What do you want in exchange for letting Bella and Edward get married in here?"
Caius and me glanced at each other.
"Renesmee."
"Mrs. Cullen, you can't-"
Bella pushed open the throne room doors.
"That is never gonna happen! Ever!"
"Will you get out?"
"You do not bargain with my daughter."
"Bye."
She threw her hands up in the air, walking out.
"You can have her for a week. But her Mate will be accompanying her. And if you can't stand being around him, you can't have her."
"She's only two."
"They met the night she was born."
"You said-"
"Oh. We've stayed within the limits of our promise. He's apart of the supernatural world. We said the human world."
Alice brought a piece of paper out.
"Consider it. Call me if you'll do it."
She handed me the piece of paper.
Alice walked out.
"Wow." The human, Danielle commented.
"Try to keep up, Sweetheart."
