Unicron would come for them. The war would continue and Solus had no idea if any of them would survive, or if they could ever win. Since the moment of her creation, she had been with the others, working together. Fighting together. Primus had faded away to a speck of consciousness in their planet, leaving behind his thirteen creations. At first, it was a surety of the war, of the fight and the struggles. Yet, what was not expected was the bonds they would form, the love they had. The protection they all felt for each other. Solus was confident, she had hope. Their weapons were ready, they had practised and practised and practised. They had contingency plans, they all knew their roles in the upcoming final battle to defeat Unicron. They prepared for anything unexpected.

What wasn't expected was a sparkling - a sparkling that not only brought more hope for the future but more fear of what was to come. Said sparkling lay asleep in its mother's arms, cradled softly while plans were laid out, revisited and changed to adjust to the different and new variable to the situation. However, no idea or solution worked. Too risky, not safe enough, or anything in between, no ideas or plans could determine the safety of the sparkling to allow the Primes to fight their enemy without worry.

"What if we hide the sparkling with Primus, at the core of our planet?" Vector Prime suggested.

The gathering of the Primes had gone silent, the idea had brought any conversation to a standstill, some in awe, some in confusion and some even in anger.

"Hide…How can we hide a sparkling from Unicron? My sparkling! Do you really think he is that inept!" Megatronus roared, moving to face Vector with a face full of hate at the idea.

"Enough." Thirteen ordered, moving to push Megatronus away from the other and looking at the rest of the group for a moment. No other idea presented seemed as foolproof as this. No other idea seemed less likely to fail. "It is an idea we can explore. It could be possible." Thirteen looked to Prima.

Prima nodded slowly. "It could, but there are many aspects to investigate first."

Quintus Prime stepped forward. "With our combined knowledge, we could make some sort of pod. A safe home. Find access to the core, and use the presence of the Allspark and Primus to hide the sparkling. It could work, especially in stasis."

Solus looked at the sleeping bundle in her arms, feeling eyes on her as Megatronus took her shoulder, giving it a squeeze, his form still shaking in rage. "The forge. Our skills. With everything and more, I have to hope for its success."

"This is a time of war." Alpha Trion added. "I do not wish for the sparkling to be hidden away until it is safe, but it is our best option presented so far. We must continue this War, the sparkling is at risk." As he spoke he focused on Solus, eyes pleading, hoping she would agree.

"I refuse!" Megatronus snarled but fell silent when Solus took his hand in hers, the other holding the bundle close to her chest.

"We should try…We need to." She nodded, hope restored.

With that, it was decided. Time passed and the pod was successfully created while the final battle drew closer. On the last day, they met once again to say their goodbyes. Once the war was over, the sparkling would be freed and join them to grow and explore the universe with its family. A new generation of life blessed to life by two Primes, and also blessed by its family. Amalgamous Prime specifically had gifted the sparkling, but with what, Solus never knew.

They said their goodbyes, and with a press of a button, the pod was sent into the core of their home planet, a small beacon sounding only to them every passing cycle. A secret frequency, one which will reveal the location of the pod when it is safe.

It was not safe for a very long time.

The war ended with Unicron but one began between the primes. There was death, there was life. Hope and betrayal and the sparkling was presumed to never be freed from the core of the world, forever protected by Primus himself.
