Chapter 2 The Fallen Order

Suna Desert.

The Dark Magician's Hideout.

Sasuke, the last Uchiha, entered the red demon's lair for guidance and for answers.

But Sasuke knew he would leave the demon's den with more questions than of false promises.

As Sasuke walked along the crippling passageway the air became denser infested with dust and the emerging scent of blood made Sasuke weary.

He came across as he got in, with a cavernous chamber filled with bones and skulls.

" What brings the young blood of the Uchiha to my humble sanctuary?" A man spoke with a dark voice that echoed throughout the humid cavern.

" I come here looking for your help." Said Sasuke firmly, looking at the dark magician who sat on his thrones of bones.

" My help?"

" You are a powerful sorcerer of the dark arts."

" You did not answer my question."

" I was trying too."

" Were you?"

" I want to avenge my family's death."

" The Night Of Tears as bards call your family's demise."

Sasuke, who clutched his katana with great force and speed, was ready for the battlefield if necessary.

" No need to fight, young Uchiha."

" Keep talking then."

" Your family was massacred by Konoha's royal army and you are the sole survivor."

I should have died with them. I should have been buried next to my parents' corpses, buried in the soil of my House's Ancestral Seat. In the crypts of my family. Thought Sasuke, painfully, remembering the night his family was butchered.

" I am an avenger."

" More of a desperate boy so to speak."

Sasuke, snorted, irritated.

" Tell me what I need to do to accomplish my quest for revenge." Spoke Sasuke, coldly like a block of ice.

" Very well. I will help you."

Sasuke didn't say anything but his eyes reflected his hesitation in trusting the wizard, but the show must go on as they say.

" Don't need to hesitate, young master, I feel your pain locked in your heart. They slaughtered my family too, a long time ago."

" Like I care."

" We are the same, you and I."

" No we are not."

" I see in your eyes, when they banged your father's door, raping and killing your mother, butchering your brother and hanging your kinsmen."

" Beware, you don't know the power of the Uchiha, you stand at the precipice of death, sorcerer. Know your place!" screamed Sasuke. " Now back off!"

" And you stand at the precipice of darkness."

Sasuke didn't say shit because he knew the dark magician stroke a chord.

" When I look at you, i am reminded of another prince, a prodigy like yourself, a child of the night. But he was a Kazagake."

Sasuke's blood ran cold.

When he was little, his mother would tell tales of a prince of Suna that vanished from the face of the earth. Gone. Nowhere to be seen again. His name was Sasori of the Sand. The Kazekage Heir.

" It is you…you are the Lost Prince? The monarch that disappeared while fighting the invasion of Konoha in Suna province?"

" I am no prince."

" You were."

" Long ago I was."

" Why didn't you come back to suna and reclaim your throne as rightful heir."

" Why aim at a crown and a kingdom if you can aim for eternal life?"

" Fair."

" Enough Chit Chat, let's cut through the chase."

" Hn."

" Come." The dark magician stood up.

" Huh?"

" Give me your hand."

" No way." Sasuke spoked with disdain, looking at the wizard of the desert in suspicion.

" Do you want my help or not?"

Sasuke gave him a nod.

" Prince, What I can offer you is my set of sorcery skills to see the most possible pathway you can take to achieve your goals and this is why you came to me, isn't it?"

Sasuke nodded.

The dark magician took the prince's pale hands with palm facing upward.

The sorcerer closed his hazel eyes and with a bedroom voice, he whispered:

"Fields of white along the mountains. Far to the North where the ends meet. There's a cave. No, not a cave. A...? A place full of ghosts. I see now, lit by the polar star. And you are not alone. There is a woman with pale eyes. She will be before you a family, there will be blood. Such much blood. There's something else...your life will be carved by hatred and by love for this.."

" For her? Huh? Oh please, I have no time for romance, sorcerer! If we cross paths, her neck will feel the cold touch of my blade!"

" Be careful, for Lady Destiny grants every wish." Sasori replied, warning the young Uchiha.

" Is there anything…more useful?" Snorted Sasuke.

" There is a ruined fortress... Though there is ...the final resting place of an uchiha prince of old. A fallen kinsman, who bequeaths his ancient possession... to you. To avenge your family, boy, you will need to seek out the possession. His remains are buried in a hidden tomb, in the depths of a crypt, in the land of the samurai, after finding his tomb you will be able avenge your house and restore honor back to the Uchiha name."

" What ancient possession? A magical staff? An enchanted crown? What is it? TELL ME!" Sasuke screamed in despair and in grief.

" It is only for you to know."

" Anything more?"

"No... no, that is all."

"Then try harder." Snapped Sasuke, losing his patience, blood-boiling, thinking this was a sham deal. What did Sasuke get himself into?

He sailed the seven seas, fought pirates, crossed the red desert and fought angry sheiks and desperados for this bullshit of a deal?

Fuck no!

"You are persistent one, huh?"

" Do it." Ordered Sasuke.

After minutes of silence, the sorcerer spoke:

" Sasuke, trust no one."

" That's it?"

" I am afraid this is it."

" What is the possession?"

" I don't know. Perhaps it is a family heirloom that was lost. Maybe you already know what it is but you need to dig a little harder the corners of your mind."

" Shit."

" Trust your instincts, young master."

" Who says I don't!" Gruffed Sasuke.

" So long, prince of the Uchiha."

"Thank you, Kazekage Prince."

" Farewell."

" Will we meet again?"

" It is up to you to decide. Now go."

Sasuke left the cave carrying two promises: to find the tomb of the ancient Uchiha in search of the mysterious possession in order to hunt down the Senju bastards that butchered his family.
