Hiya everyone! This is my first ficcy in me whole life! I hope that you enjoy reading it (but I doubt it cause I probably suck at writing). If you like it, please review, if you don't like it... What happens there? Well, anyways, on with my VERY short piece of writing as the prologue.

It was a dark night, where no moon was out to shine ones path. It held a serene silence... That is, of course, until it was broken by a pair of hushed voices, as was the still water of a river, broken by a small boat-which carried the source of the voices-, sending ripples out around it.

"We must hurry! They will catch us if we go any slower!" a male voice whispered fiercely.

"They will catch us, no matter where we go, or how fast we travel." a female stated quietly. "The only thing that matters, is the safety of our daughter. Put her on the river banks, someone will find her there. We will come for her in the future, if we are still alive."

"That shall be done. We will give our daughter her freedom to live." the male agreed.

The small boat sailed across the river, till it reached the rivers banks. There, the two people stepped off the boat, one clutching a bundle of cloths to her body.

"My dear child... I will miss you so!" the female whispered, and gave the bundle of cloths-a baby girl wrapped in blankets-a kiss. Then, she set the baby down on a pile of soft sand, and walked slowly backwards, tears streaming down her face.

"Hopefully, we will come for you soon, daughter... Until then, Princess Kinomoto Sakura." the male whispered hoarsly.

Both, male and female, boarded their small boat and drifted down the river, by the moonlight...
