Monday morning came, and Danny was sitting in homeroom, bored out of his mind taking notes on Mr. Lancer's lecture when suddenly a knock came to the classroom door. Mr. Lancer stopped his lecture for a moment to answer it, and in came the principal with Sabrina. Danny was surprised to see her, but happy. "She goes to Casper High now? Awesome!" he thought to himself. "Hi, Mr. Lancer, so sorry to interrupt your lesson, but this is Sabrina Spellman, she's a new student, she was just enrolled today and this is her first class." the principal said. "No worries. Hi, Ms. Spellman, it's a pleasure to meet you." he smiled, shaking her hand. "Here, why don't you have a seat over there next to Mr. Fenton." he said, gesturing towards an empty desk next to Danny. She walked over to take her seat. She and Danny smiled at one another briefly as she sat down. "She goes to Casper High, has homeroom with me, and sits next to me?! This day just gets better and better!" He thought to himself. Soon, the bell rang, and everyone got ready to head to their next class. Danny put his notebooks into his backpack before putting it on. "Hi, Danny!" he turned around to see Sabrina smiling at him. "Hi, Sabrina!" he smiled back. "Pretty cool that we go to the same school and sit next to each other in here. Thanks again for helping us move in this weekend, it was very sweet of you." she said. "Ah, no worries. I was happy to help." he said. The two walked out of the classroom and talked. "So, since we are neighbors, is it okay with you if we walk home together?" she asked. Danny felt his heart racing out of his chest. He tried his best to play it cool though. "Yeah, that sounds great." he said. "Great! Uh, what class do you have next?" she asked. "Gym. And you?" he asked. "Uh, Science." she said. "Do you know where to go?" he asked. "Yeah, I have a printout of a map of the school with my schedule. Thank you though!" she smiled. "No problem. I'll see you later." he smiled back. "See ya."

Danny felt on top of the world. He couldn't believe this was happening, this had to have been a dream. Now with Sabrina going to Casper, being in his homeroom and them walking home together every day, they'd definitely get to know each other better. Of course, that was until Dash Baxter, the school bully and quarterback for the school football team and his friend Kwan (who was also a football player and kind of a bully but wasn't as much of one as Dash, because he was also kind of dumb) walked by, and Dash knocked his books out of his hands. "Oops! Sorry, Fenton!" Dash said sarcastically as he and Kwan walked away laughing. Sabrina was within earshot and was angry after seeing that. "Danny is such a nice guy! Who do those jerks think they are?" She thought to herself. She ran up to help him pick up his stuff. "Thanks, Sabrina." he said. "He seems nice." she said sarcastically. "Yeah, that's Dash, and his buddy Kwan. They're assholes. Unfortunately I'm not the only person they treat this way." Danny sighed. "Does the school know about this?" Sabrina asked. "Nah, they're usually very different around the teachers, and the teachers love them because they're good at sports." He said. "I hate kids like that! I'm sorry, Danny." she said. "It's okay. I mean, it sucks, but I'm used to it. I'll catch you later, Sabrina." he said, heading to his next class, while she headed to hers. Without even meeting Dash or Kwan, she already knew she didn't like them at all after learning what they were like.
