Now that I see the opportunity, I also translate one of the OS's I've made of Strawberry Panic. I hope you like it, and now we begin.

Warm chest

Yaya Nanto was in the pond where the statue of the virgin was, thinking about the emptiness caused by the fact that her feelings could not be reciprocated by Hikari. It was clear that she never stood a chance against the prince of Spica, the great Amane Ootori. Hikari's eyes were never for her, Granny understood that from the start, but she couldn't just put that aside and carry on as if nothing had happened. Despair was the only thing she had on her side, because for her the desire to love and sing had vanished, possibly forever. But then she arrives, the cause and focus of that pain and uncertainty, and Granny begins to wish that the earth would swallow her.

─ Yaya-chan. I've looked for you everywhere ─ at no time did she turn to see her, but he knew exactly when she also sat on the shore of that pond ─. Hey, Yaya-chan ─ Yaya didn't want to give in, but hearing her made her feel worse and worse ─ why don't you come to choir rehearsals? ─ The answer was more than obvious to Yaya, but Hikari didn't seem to have realized it yet, or she intended it ─ They're all waiting for you... and I'm waiting for you too ─ yes, of course. And I'm sure Hikari arranged the beds together and sprinkled rose petals on them ─. They all want to listen to Yaya-chan.

That had already reached a critical point. Granny couldn't keep quiet any longer, so she answers her frankly. She was not going to sing, and it is that she no longer saw within herself that muse that she once made her take up that activity. Hikari doesn't seem to understand that Yaya really decided to give up singing, and she Yaya saw no other option, after a certain point, than to get up from her, as she couldn't bear to have Hikari so close to free.

But Hikari starts to apologize, which Granny didn't see the slightest point in, and it even irritated her that Hikari apologized over and over again, as if she had made her fall in love on purpose to play with her feelings. It was normal for Yaya's attitude to arouse the concern of the others, or at least her interest, but she didn't want Hikari to continue, that fed her up. The thing was simple: Yaya was in love with Hikari, but that love was not reciprocated at all. There was no need to blame anyone, it's just one of many things that can happen, but the matter was treated as if it were too special or unique, and that only made Granny uncomfortable.

She wanted Hikari to throw in the towel at once, but what Hikari says throws her completely off balance. Hikari told her that she loved her voice, and that made her stare at her, as if those words exerted a very strong magnetism on her face and attention.

─ However, I really love Amane-senpai ─ Hikari continues saying something that Yaya already knew, but she didn't dare to cut her off ─. I really love her...

That was enough for Yaya. She didn't want to hear any more, so she tells her that that alone was enough for her to lose the desire to sing. She honestly did not think she would ever be able to sing again, but Yaya herself is the victim of an attack that she had never thought possible from Hikari: she took her hand and made her touch her chest.

─ What do you think? ─ Hikari begins with her lethal anti-shield attack ─ It's hot, isn't it?

─ Y-yes… ─ says Yaya very unsure about how to react.

─ That's because there are many beautiful things in here ─ Yaya didn't dare to comment on what "beautiful things" there were beyond that uniform, lest Hikari get angry.

─ Beautiful things? Aren't you talking about Amane-sama? ─ the twist she gave her was ingenious, and to think that she almost didn't get it.

─ It's not just Amane-senpai! It's also about when I came to Spica and met you, when I joined the religious choir, your voice... It's all here, and it makes my chest feel warm, so don't say I'm the reason you can't sing.

─ Hikari… ─ Yaya was completely taken aback, both by Hikari's words and how good it felt to have her fingers between her breasts.

─ Your voice is not something that belongs only to me, so you should sing, and you will see that your chest will feel warm, and everyone who listens to you singing will also feel how their chest warms, and in the end, there will be many people who you'll feel warm chest ─ Yaya didn't know how she managed to withstand that cruel attack from Hikari, because her hand kept touching Hikari's breast surreptitiously, and besides, almost everything Hikari herself said was "warm chest". Chances are she'll spend the rest of the school year with that warm chest thing ringing in her head. No. Not only will those chests be warm ─ there she goes again ─, they will even burn with pure passion. That's why, Yaya-chan, you should sing again.

Yaya was on fire, but she wanted to squeeze Hikari's chest, so she made the desperate decision to remove her hand from there and allow herself to laugh a little.

─ OK, you win ─ says Yaya between happy and resigned.

─ Yaya-chan?

─ After what you said, there's no way I can keep saying I can't sing anymore ─ this time she allowed herself to cry ─. You're right, I've been a bit silly about it...

After exchanging words for a while, and after praying for a moment, it was already possible to say that everything was arranged, but in Yaya's head a spark lights up that would allow her to take at least something that, although not the real prize, at least Hikari herself would give it to her.

─ I'll make a promise, Hikari ─ she begins with her idea, and she really hoped it would work ─. I'm going to keep singing, but in return I need you to help me from time to time to keep in mind the real reason for this, which is to warm everyone's chest.

─ Yaya-chan…

─ That's why I want you to show me how warm your chest is, and then I'll feel inspired to keep going, okay?

─ Yes, Yaya-chan ─ that was easier than expected, according to Yaya. How can you tell how innocent her friend could be.

─ And of course, I sincerely hope that you achieve happiness with Amane-sama. Never give up, and gather courage for yourself to keep going, Hikari.

─ Thank you, Yaya-chan. Thank you for supporting me ─ Hikari says between tears.

And so, Yaya and Hikari, already reconciled and happy with each other, go to look for Amane, who was winning her tennis duel. Yaya, as explained in previous lines, did not take Hikari's heart, but at least she had access to her chest for an indefinite period of time, and that was more than enough. The rest of her would be to do her best and move on, looking for her own future, trying to somehow get over her unrequited love for her, but in the meantime she took every chance she got.

The end

How has it turned out for me? I hope it's ok. If so, maybe in the next few days I'll put out some other fics I've done before, so you guys can read them too.
