DISK Hero Dekyu Chapter2: New Friend and New Mentor

*Flashback* Izuku opened his eyes to find a concrete room with six people and a fiery All Might in it. Everyone was looking at him, wondering what was going on. "Well this was unexpected," Yoichi finally said, "It seems the Bio-Code I installed into myself not only worked, but was passed on through my quirk."

"Oh you think?" a Bakugou look alike asked rhetorically.

"Not only that, it seems to have evolved," a pineapple haired man stated, "He can switch out with us. I wonder if he could actually release us back into the physical world."

"Even if he can, he shouldn't," the one in a hoodie and two stripes going down the left side of his face, pointed out, "We're all dead, remember?"

"Looks like Banjo is done," a black haired Best Jeanist look alike informed them.

"Alright Ninth, activate the Bio-Code and shout D-Secure," Yoichi instructed.

Izuku did as told and saw two giant robot arms stacked in front of him. *End Flashback*

Izuku turned to Ochako and asked her, "Are you alright?" She nodded her head yes. "I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Izuku Midoriya, it's nice to meet you."

"Oh! I'm Ochako Uraraka, it's nice to meet you too," the girl replied, "What was that form you took?"

"Form?" Before she could question him further, an old lady gave them some gummies.

"Here dearies, these will give you your strength back," the old woman told them.

As soon as she left, Izuku turned to Uraraka and said, "I'm kind of tired. Do you want to exchange numbers and meet up later?"

"Sure. Uh, do you know where any good restaurants are? I'm new and haven't found the time to get groceries," the gravity girl told him.

"Ask her over," Nana whispered, even though she didn't need to.

"How about my house? My mom's cooking is really good."

"Oh! I don't want to intrude!"

"Not at all, I'm the one who invited you." They would have kept going, but someone shouted that the bus was leaving, making them run to the entrance gate and onto the bus.

All Might was sitting in the principal's office, looking at his phone as he got a message from Izuku:

-OfA is haunted

-Nana said hi

-Going to ask someone named Gran Torino to take me to I-Island

-Vestiges are laughing

-Good or Bad?

-Quirk gave me something called a Bio-Code

All Might shivered at the name on his phone's screen. "Ah, I see Midoriya has mentioned something about someone he shouldn't know," the chimera principal noted from Yagi's shiver.

"Apparently he has some information on what happened. Something to do with a Bio-Code? Whatever that is," Yagi replied.

"I see. We'll have to wait to talk to him about it later, for now, let's talk about the hero he became."

"You mean there really was a hero named lariat?"

"Yes. His quirk was Black Whip. He was really more of a vigilante than a hero."

"I didn't realize this quirk wasn't just heroes."

"Well the term 'hero' is mostly public views. If the public sees the person as a hero, then they become labeled as such."

"Huh. I wonder what the other users were like. Young Midoriya might be the only one who can get an accurate idea on how the views have changed so much."

"Speaking of which, I found it odd that a quirkless kid who inspires to be a hero and, according to you, has not even entertained the thought of villainy, has so many cases of him interrupting class and bullying."

"... The school is biased?"

"The school is biased. Looking at other records, particularly against weak or nonexistent quirks."

"I'd hate to hear what their reasonings are."

"Well, my suspicions might get confirmed if one of the companies that make support gear decide to not do what is better asked of them."

"... You're hoping they mess up, aren't you?"

"Oh, yes. Very much so."

The next day, Izuku was standing at the airport, waiting for whoever this Gran Torino guy was. An old short man in a yellow cape, boots and gloves, with white spandex, and a black eye mask walks up to him. "Hello young lad, who are you?" the old guy asks.

"My name's Izuku Midoriya," Izuku told him, "I'm waiting for someone to show up."

"Toshinori? Is that you?"

"Uh, no. Like I said, I'm Izuku Midoriya. I'm guessing you're Gran Torino?"

"Yep, that's me. Come on, we don't want to be late for our flight," Gran Torino began to walk away before turning around to ask Izuku, "Who are you again?" All the vestiges start laughing, making Izuku worried about this trip.

"Welcome to I-Island," a blond girl with glasses told them, "Follow me, my dad's expecting you." She led them to a secluded room within the bottom most levels of the island. Izuku looked around, seeing a big room full of computers and tech.

"This place is secluded from the rest of the island, right?" Izuku asked, "Cause the thing I want would be terrible if it got into anyone else's hands."

"Why would it be bad in anyone else's hands?"

"Because I would be the only one who can use the most important function."

"Alright, what's with all the vagueness and secrecy? I promise, this lab is disconnected to the entire outside world. Only Dad and I can access it, and there's no cameras in here."

"And no one with an invisibility quirk on this entire island?"

"Yes!"

"Good. I need something that can capture people based on five identifiers, can only be released by someone with something called a Bio-Code, as well as a holographic system to talk to the captured people, and a wristband that can turn into a watch when one of these devices are attached to it. The device would be called a DISK, short for Digital Identity Security Kit. The wrist band would be called a Bio-Band."

"... Now I understand the need for over the top secrecy. Am I right in assuming that you're the only one with this 'Bio-Code'?"

"Yes," Izuku nodded, as they came up to a computer with some sort of scanner, "Thank you and your father again for doing this for me Shield."

"Just call me Malissa. I know you're from Japan and all, but I'd rather you not call me by my last name." Malissa started typing up the details that Izuku told her, and placed his arm in the scanner type device.

"Then call me Izuku. It woul;dn't be fair if only one of us was calling the other by their first name."

"Haha, you sound just like this blond hero that I know," a new voice came in. Izuku turned around to see David shield, the best in Hero support gear.

"David, glad that you could join us," Gran Torino told him.

"Looks like you started without me. May I see what we're working on?"

"Certainly. Oh! I almost forgot, there should also be a healing element to the DISKs," Izuku informed.

"A healing element? Just what are we doing exactly?" David took a look at the screen and saw what was said, "Oh boy, this isn't good."

"Dad? Is something wrong?" Melissa questioned.

"Not really. I'm just worried about what might happen if a villain got his hands on this is all."

"That's why, as soon as we're done making these, we should destroy everything having to do with it," Gran Torino pointed out.

"How many are we making?"

"3,000, that should be enough to fit inside my backpack," Izuku told him.

"Alright, the programming should take a week, since we know what it's going to do, and already have the Bio-Code that is in you. Until it's all done, how about you two go up and use the training facilities?"

"Sounds like a plan to me," Torino grinned, "Come on zygote! I'm going to whip you into shape!" All the vestiges started laughing at the boy's misery.

Malissa turned to her dad and asked, "do you really think the two of us alone can create this?"

"Even if I didn't, we have to. UA begins schooling in a week, and I have this nagging feeling something bad will awaken by that time. Let's get started so we can get it done as fast as possible," David told her.

As they got into the training area, Torino started off by giving Izuku a speedy kick in the back. "Lesson one, always be prepared for a surprise attack!" Izuku started activating OfA, but Torino didn't give him time. "Lesson two, learn to use your quirk faster!"

'Yeesh, if this is what All Might went through, I'd hate to see what he's like when he's up against a villain.'

"It's probably for the best," the vestiges chourased.
