DISK Hero Dekyu Chapter 3: Aizawa's Hazing/Reenter Sokudo Kani
Izuku walked through the halls, trying to find his class. 'I can't believe they were actually able to do it within a week,' the boy thought as he pulled out a DISK and looked at it, remembering the discussion he had when he received it.
*Flashback* Izuku stood in front of a sitting David and Malissa and asked, "So it's finally done?"
"Yes. We even got it approved to be a support gear, so you can use it at any time," Malissa told him.
"That's great!"
"But," David added, making Izuku deflate, "You shouldn't use it whenever there's a villain. Only use it if it's a large-scale threat, like someone who can give and take quirks."
'What!? Does he know about OfA!?'
"No, he's talking about something else… Someone else," Yoichi replied.
'You know who he's talking about?'
"Yes, but you don't have to worry about him. Not anymore."
"I promise. I won't use it unless they can truly be contained." *End Flashback*
Izuku snapped out of his thoughts and put the DISK away when he stopped in front of the door to his classroom. 'New school, new me, new people that will accept me,' he opens the door to see Bakugou picking a fight with the kid in glasses, 'Or not. Why me?'
"Wow, both in the same class, you have the worst luck," En teased.
'Considering I come across villains whenever I'm in a mall? I'd have to agree.'
"Wait, what!?" all the vestiges yell.
"You there!" the boy in glasses yelled as he ran up to Izuku, "My name is Tenya Iida, from Soumei Junior High School!"
"Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you."
"Midoriya, how and why did you become that vigilante?"
"Uh… I don't really remember anything after I saw Uraraka was in danger," the green haired kid lied.
"I see, so it was a subconscious ordeal. Make sure it doesn't happen again."
Izuku thought about it, then hung his head saying, "I can't make that promise."
"Izuku! We're in the same class!" a cheery voice shouted from behind him.
"Uraraka, i'm so gla-" Izuku cut himself off, seeing his crush in the school uniform, 'Don't look at her legs, don't look at her legs!'
"Too late!" the vestiges shouted as Izuku looked down.
"Danger sense! Behind you!" Hikage shouted at him. Izuku looked behind him and saw a man in a yellow sleeping bag, caterpillaring towards them. The man noticed him watching and pulled out a juice pack, taking a drink from it.
"One of you actually noticed me," the caterpillar man said, "Interesting, now get into your seats!" The class all scurried to their seats, with some of them tripping over feet. "It took you 30 seconds to quiet down and get ready. We'll be working to make that as short as we can." He pulls out blue, red, and white uniforms and places them on his desk. "My name is Aizawa, change into a PE uniform and meet me outside."
"What about the assembly and orientation?" Uraraka questioned.
"You don't need the assembly. As for the orientation, consider this it," Aizawa replied, making them all confused. They all grabbed a uniform and left for the locker rooms.
"It took you 5 minutes to suit up and arrive. By that time a lot of civilians could have died. We'll be working on that as well. Bakugou, you got the highest score on the practical. What was your distance on the ball throw in middle school?"
"67 meters," Bakugou told him.
"Try doing it with your quirk." Bakugou got a manic grin on his face as he stepped into the circle.
"Die!"
"Die!?" the student's all thought, as Bakugou threw the ball using his quirk.
"I hope that isn't his catchphrase," Daigoro stated.
"This is what is expected out of the best of UA," Aizawa told them as he turned to show them the distance.
"705 meters!? That's insane!" Sero, a boy with tape dispenser elbows, shouted.
"We get to actually use our quirks here!" Kaminari, a kid with blond hair and a black lightning bolt streak, added.
"This will be fun!" Mina, the pink skin and haired girl, exclaimed.
"Wrong thing to say!" Izuku and the vestiges mentally shouted.
Aizawa turned to all of them with a glare, "Fun? Alright, how about this, the one with the lowest score gets expelled."
"Eh!?" all the students minus Izuku, Momo, and Todoroki, shouted.
"But that's not fair!" Uraraka shouted.
"How are we getting sored?" Izuku questioned, making everyone turn to him, "Are we getting scored by how well we did, or by how much you want us in the class?"
"What the hell Ninth!?" Nana shouted.
"Are you trying to make an enemy out of your teacher?" Yoichi questioned.
'I think All Might is partially possessing me, giving me strength to speak my mind, damn the consequences.'
"I'm not as biased as some other teachers are," Aizawa told him.
"You'd be the first to be unbiased in any sense." Everyone, including Bakugo, stared at him, suddenly worried about what his life was like.
"I promise you, it will depend on how much potential I see in all of you. If I don't see any, you'll get your name removed from the board."
Izuku grinned thinking, 'Got ya!' "In other words, it's not about the points, but we should be treating this as if we're actually heroes and if we don't do our best, we'd end up with dead civilians." Everyone gasped, finally realizing what they were getting into.
Aizawa smirked and thought, 'This kid's got an actual head on his shoulders.' "You're pretty good. Just for curiosity's sake, how'd you figure it out?"
"An old man who was once a teacher here, used a similar tactic. However, he just pushed them to be ready for the battles they might have ahead, forcing the ones who couldn't handle it to either quit or change courses. You both achieve the same thing through two different types of intimidation."
"... Wow… Aizawa really is a lot like Torino," En admitted.
"Let's see which this class bends to first," Hikage stated.
"I'd like to meet him some time. He sounds rational enough," Aizawa responded, "Now get going, we'll start with the 50 meter dash." Aizawa was watching the students, noticing that they were taking this more seriously then with the threat of expulsion. 'The kid made them even more motivated, having them envision the true purpose. Even so, they seem to be pushing themselves a little too much.'
When it was Izuku and Bakugou's turn, Bakugou told him, "Good job getting us to push past our normal limits, but that's going to cost you."
"We'll see Kacchan," Izuku replied as he readied One for All. The two got into their positions and blasted off when the machine shouted, "Start!" Once Izuku got past the machine, he tried stopping, only to continue running until he ran into a wall. The machine read out his time as "2.54 seconds!"
Bakugou landed after the finish line, "3.98 seconds!" He then fell on the ground laughing at Izuku's inability to make sudden stops. The other students also chuckled, giggled, or laughed, even Aizawa and Todoroki had faint grins on their faces. Izuku looked back at them and nervously laughed along with them.
On the grip strength test, Izuku got 256.0 Kg. The strongest being Shoji who had octopus arms, with 540.0 Kg. On the ball throw, Uraraka just went and got the score to beat, an infinity. "Midoriya, you're up," Aizawa told him.
"Hey Ninth. How about we use that power?" the second user suggested, "My quirk would be perfect for this."
'I'm not going to let you out. This is to test my abilities, or did you forget that?' Izuku activated one for all and was about to throw it when he felt his quirk stop. He quickly grabbed a better hold of the ball and turned to look at the audience, seeing Aizawa's hair flowing up, his eyes glowing red, and his scarf flowing all around him. "You're the eraser hero, Eraser Head! You just erased my quirk. Why?"
"Because you're only using half of your quirk. Why not call upon that man we saw in the exam?"
"I thought this was to test me, not other people."
"This is to test the full capabilities of your quirk, not just you. Now hurry up and do whatever it was you did in the exam, or you'll face expulsion."
Izuku sighed, hating that Second was right. 'I'm going to need a name.'
"Call me Raptor," Second told him.
Izuku covered himself in rainbow pixels and called out "Raptor, D-Posses!" The pixels grew and then faded, a man looking a lot like Bakugou with a scar on his face, gauntlets on his arm and a green jacket over a black long sleeved shirt. "Gear Five!" he shouted as he threw the ball, making it create a sonic boom. Aizawa showed the phone to be another infinity. The man known as 'Raptor' was engulfed in the pixels again and turned back into Izuku shouting "D-Secure!". 'What was the score?'
"Infinity."
'You broke the speed of light!?'
"Yeah, so?"
"Leave it Ninth, it's not worth it," Third told him.
"That was very impressive Midoriya, though that wasn't the man from the exams," Aizawa pointed out.
"It was another one of my ancestors," Izuku started.
"Technically speaking," the past users agreed.
"For some reason, they got trapped in my quirk, or at least their memories from before they died did. It's really confusing."
"Alright, I guess it's new to you as well. Moving on," Aizawa told them. As the tests continued, Everyone was giving more and more to what they had. Then finally it was time for the results, and everyone was on the board. Izuku in second, Todoroki in third, Shinsho in 19th, and Hagakure in 20th. "Congratulations, you're the first class I didn't fail a student right off the bat from."
"What!?" the entire class shouted, shocked.
"It's also going to get harder from here on out. Make sure you don't fall behind." With that, he left.
As soon as he did, Yoichi told Izuku, "This would be a great opportunity to get to know them."
"I agree, though I think Pizza at the beach might be a good idea," Hikage added.
"How would you know? You're a social recluse!" En countered.
"Just because I don't socialize, doesn't mean I don't know how to."
'He's got a point. I'll ask and see what they say,' Izuku thought. He turned to his peers and said, "How about we all go for pizza and beach time in order to get to know eachother better?" Everyone except Bakugou and Todoroki agreed and they all went back to change and get their stuff.
All for One was seated at his monitor and on a phone call with his spy. "And this green haired kid turned into this blonde spiky haired man that threw the ball normally, but his quirk must have increased the speed because the ball clocked at infinity," the spy told him.
"WHAT!?" All for One shouted loudly, his blood pressure and heart rate rising to dangerous levels, and no doubt making the spy go deaf in that ear, "How can this kid turn into him!?"
"Sir, you need to calm down. Any more excitement and you might have a heart attack," Doctor Garaki informed him.
'If my brother did something to that quirk, it's going to be harder to obtain than I expected!'
