Chapter-{1}

Same World, Different Story.

He walked.

He walked aimlessly.

He walked despite the burning world screaming hell.

He walked among the corpse of this evil fire's victims.

He walked over them, trying to save himself in an instinctive effort.

He walked over his own family.

He walked over his memories.

He walked over his humanity.

He walked over his emotions.

He walked over his very soul.

Everything. Everyone. Every single thing burned.

He was hurting. It hurts like hell. It hurts so much that he wasn't able to scream anymore. It hurts so much that he felt his mind shattered.

It was no longer a struggle for survival. Merely a mechanical movement to keep going until this vessel deteriorates.

Smoke and soots. Ash and Fire. All was upon him yet he care for nothing. His skin burned so much that it could no longer be called skin.

His body itself burning and tearing apart like in rags.

Before long a debris collapsed upon him, ceasing him from movement.

Yet, his mind had one single thing that was more akin to Gaia's children than that of man's.

Survive.

This was the single thought that ran inside the child's mind. Nothing else.

Admist the ruin, his hand tried to reach for something. Anything.

And upon this hell, god had finally shown mercy upon this child.

A man, a man that was so ragged and weary, with black hair and dull black eyes in black suit ran to him shaking the rubble of the child with trembling hands and tearing eyes that held so much amount of light.

"You're alive...You're alive!." This man that took the child in his arms held him closer as if this child would disappear any moment.

Then...a radiant light shone. One that promises utopia, a light that is the salvation. The light of fae...

The Ever Distant Utopia shone it's Holy glory as it molded the essence for the child.

The Sheath had found a vessel, a perfect vessel, one that was hollow.

Now devoid of impurities of the world, baptised in the unholy flames of evil God, this child was akin to a Child of World.

The Sheath performed a miracle of the world. As the Soul of the World moulded child to it's own image, the child that had shed the soul itself gained a soul.

The Avalon had found a new Sword.

The Sheath had found a new Sword.

The moon shone brightly, as Kiritsugu looked at with nostalgia before sighing.

He looked at the packet of cigar over the desk.

A hand stomped on it (making Kiritsugu wince, his poor cigar), as a boy around his sixteens with crimson red hair that was tied in a low ponytail and striking gold eyes that seemed emotionless wearing a white shirt with black pants he looked at it with tinge of annoyance upon the packet before a red fire disintegrated it.

Kiritsugu cried inside a lot. He had finally sneaked in the cigar with the help of Raiga-san after so many times of failure.

Why the hell did he left it there ?!.

Kiritsugu's grieving was interrupted by something that was placed on his lips by a small warm hands.

He looked at the small black haired girl that reminded him of Illya who put a cigar-look alike candy, before smiling adorably like his Illya.

"You can now have your cigarettes Papa!" She said with a smile.

Kiritsugu argued to himself how could anyone be as adorable as his Illya and how could this ever happen.

However, he found himself smiling at her too as he patted the girl's head.

"Hm, thank you...Miyu." Kiritsugu said nibbling on the candy cigar.

On the corner of his eyes Kiritsugu saw Shirou's emotionless facade falter with that small curve of his lips.

Kiritsugu smiled more.

These were his adopted children, Miyu Emiya and Shirou Emiya.

He found them in the fire for his world was shattered. His Ideals, His dreams, His wife, his daughter, his very own life had been lost to that cursed fire.

And then had become his world ever since..

"Miyu!, get ready. It's time for school" a familiar cold voice rang on her as she burrowed further underneath sheets.

"Miyu...You have to go to school." The emotionless voice called out once more making her grumble cutely, before the sheets that protected from sun's wake up call was taken away making her groan.

"Mmm,nbig brother let me sleep a bit more." Miyu groaned more before opening her eyes owlishly.

She looked at the ever stoic face of her big brother who had placed her uniform, ironed and proper, on the desk of her room.

"The breakfast is ready, I think you should get ready fast or else you're gonna end up late." Shirou said nochantly cleaning up her room, tidying things that were thrown here and there.

"Hmm, nope!, I'm not going to go late ever, if I have you, big brother!" She said puffing her cheeks as she stood up with grogginess accompanying her.

Shirou shrugged knowing it's useless to argue with this adorable brat.

"You won't get the food without brushing your teeths" He reminded as he slipped off the room.

"Nii-san!!!!"

"Mou, why was Sakura-nee and Fuji-nee not with us during breakfast?" Miyu asked as she had her hair done by her brother, who seems to have his hands full. She was wearing the elementary school uniform.

"Fuji-nee is having teacher's meeting she had to run early itself. And Sakura's got family business." Shirou said stoically trying to adjust her hair. Shirou though was wearing a white shirt with black pants and brown boots.

"But, Sakura-nee's family is slimy." Miyu said motioning "slimy" part with wierd movements of her hands.

Shirou gave a smirk before going back to his usual stoic style.

"Yes, but they are family, at last." Shirou said finishing her hairstyle.

"Now, let's go." Shirou said taking the black coat hanged on the coat rack.

"Uhhh, nii-san why are you not in your uniform?" She asked looking at his casual form of clothing.

" You're asking me now ?" Shirou replied back, Miyu wondered if that was amusment in his voice.

"No, I am not going to school, I've some work." Shirou replied seeing her puff her cheeks.

"Ok." She knows that big brother does skip school though most of them were for realky important job or to go to Germany and it seems like another one is up.

"Miyu, if I don't come earlier to pick you up, don't come on your own like last time." Shirou said with a bit annoyance seeping on his face. He started his motorbike, a black Yamaha V-Max.

"Can't promise." Miyu stick her tongue out playfully as she got behind him.

"Miyu."

"Ok, ok, ok. I won't ."

"Hm, good."

"This...is bad...Real bad." Shirou said looking at the charred crater formed where there was previously a complex was situated.

His bike was parked near the compound, there were still "do no cross" all over, but a few Hypnosis was all it would take.

And from what he could gleam from the reliable information, it said there was a gas leak.

Instantly, he had figured it out.

The Holy Grail War has begun.
