"Link!"

"Link!!"

Link pressed his belly as low as it could go against the ancient wooden lookout. He could smell the years of ocean air soaked into the planks. His older brother and little sister were looking for him, no doubt sent by Link's father.

"Link come on, this is ridiculous"

"Link come on! This is ridikilios!" Lin, Link's little couldn't exactly pronounce every word.

Knil, Link's older brother, turned to look at his sister. Lin turned to look also, even though no one was behind her.

Link smiled. Even with the danger of being caught, he peeked up to see his older brother and little sister. His little sister would slow Knil down. All Link had to do was to lay low until the day was done, and no one dared to go near the lookout. It was too old, over a hundred years old, and everyone was worried that it might fall one day. The only one that went on it was Link himself.

Down below, on the beach, Link stepped out onto the sand. "Have you found him yet?" he asked.

Knil shook his head, "No not yet"

Lin shook her head, "No not yet!"

Knil rolled his eyes. "Ulur hasn't seen him, so he's somewhere on the beaches"

Lin rolled her eyes. "Ulur hasn't seen him, so he's somewhere on the beaches!"

Link kneeled down, eye level with his daughter. "Lin, sweetie, why don't you go home while we look for Link"

Lin sighed and reluctantly began to walk home. Lin did everything Knil did, mimicking his every move. She adored him, and hated being apart.

Link stood up and a tuft of blonde blown by the wind caught his eye. Link sighed. "Come on, I see him"

Link started to panic. His father always found where he hid. Velink could always jump from the lookout into the water below, but even he wasn't that desperate. Link should have known that his father would never have let Link escape from the ritual.

Sooner than later, Link and Knil were standing on the old dock leading to the lookout. Link stood directly in front of the ladder.

"Link" he called. "Come down, I know you're up there"

There was silence. Link knew that giving up was the only option. He stood up and slinked to the ladder. He saw the face of his father looking up at him. Link sighed and began his descent, feeling the eyes of his father on the back of his neck.

Bum ba bA! New story thingy. Sorry if having two people named Link was confusing, but meh, it'll work out. Link's father just has another part to do in the next chapter and then he'll be gone for a while. I'll try and get this story kicking in the next few chapters so we can actually get into some dungeons and stuff. This is one of the many versions of this story I made, so it's good that I actually decided on one to put on FanFiction.

Any suggestions that you have feel free to email me. Also, since this is the beginning of the story, email your character ideas and what part you'd like them to have.

These are the parts you could have: Outset Islander, Rito, Telto (My own creation), Thug on Stolen Island, Pirate, Other(You name the island that you'd like to live on)
