The sea hissed as it crashed on the shore, the ice cold depression covering me, soaking my plum coloured skirt.

When all of a sudden a familiar voice awakened me, "Yuna, wake up, ya?"

I slowly sat up, squinting to see the voice belonged to Wakka. I looked down, noticing I was soaked from the waves.

"W-was it..all a dream?" I asked, puzzled.

"Was what all a dream?" Wakka replied just as confused.

"Everything.." I said a little more clear.

"No..whatcha doin' lying in the sand? Ya need to get up sometime, ya?" He half smiled, I could tell he was still upset.

"I'm not sure myself." I replied as I got up from the shore, where my body had made an impression in the sand. A wave rolled up and washed it away..the sea took everything back.

"Let's go into the village n' get you cleaned up, ya? Lulu's been worried sick about you, and Rikku, too." He frowned a little bit as he said it, for they were the small bit left of the group.

"Where's Kihmari?" I asked, a worried expression spreading across my face.

"Not too sure 'bout him. I think he had some business to take care of, somewhere..he's strong, he can take care of himself. Best not to worry."

"Hm," I nodded.

We walked back to the village of Besaid, silent along the way.

iAt least..I know I still have true friends../i I thought, trying to look at the bright side of things. But there was still the emptiness, spreading through me, ripping and tearing at my heart.
