Pitt Stop
The following story line is mine. Don't try to copy it cause I'll get mad
In a like vain, Star Trek and all characters are the sole property of someone other than me.
AN: This happens during "Unification" sometime when Spock is alone on the Enterprise for at least a minute. In the Observation Lounge/briefing room. I'm just guessing on the years.
She wasn't sure she'd actually stopped. She was cold, but she was still getting colder. Her vision wasn't blurred, as it should have been, and she didn't feel adrenaline rushing through her system. What was going on? She didn't know.
"Deneb" a familiar voice said. She spun around. Spock was sitting at the head of a long polished table. They were on a starship, she could tell.
"Spock?" her voice quivered.
"Indeed. Are you staying?" he asked. She didn't know why he asked that. Maybe he could tell she was in some sort of flux.
"No. Just a pit stop, I think" she answered. There were tears in her eyes and her throat was all tight so she could barely spit the words out.
"How long?" she managed.
"Almost 90 years" he told her. She sucked a breath in. Would Jim still be alive? He'd be about 120, who lived that long?
"Oh, Spock!" she cried. He didn't move, she didn't move. Her tears were staining her cheeks. She was starting to feel peculiar again.
"Spock...tell them...Jim...Bones..." she didn't know what to say. She was going again but she didn't know where, she didn't know when. She gave up.
"Spock...."
He nodded. He understood. She smiled, just slightly and she was gone again.
