Why Do Fools Fall In Love?
I chose a sacred star
Reaching my hand out afar
My shining light came to me
So happy and so carefree
We hid our feelings for each other
Never revealing our secret, such endless torture
Why do fools fall in love?
My bright light, my white dove
Now you've left
And I stopped your petty theft
We made our unknowingly vows
Under those colorful clouds
On the hill where we sat together many times
Watching the clouds pantomime
Why do fools fall in love?
For a while, you were mine
Putting on a tough act when you seemed so gentle and kind
Everything was too good to be true
I had believed that you would give up so much for me and was a fool
So I walked on and on to our beloved hill
Then you went in for the kill
You slashed my right shoulder
When I realized it was you, I was bewildered
You tricked me and left me to die
Boy you made me cry silently deep inside
And a new force started to arise
Why do fools fall in love?
I should have never opened up to emotions
Especially someone in my position
I knew very well that I wasn't supposed to love
But you were always there, my white dove
I panted and struggled with each step
Thinking things over with great depth
There you were, running on my left side
Then I re- felt that burning hatred growing deep inside
Inuyasha! I shouted
Time seemed to stop with those last few moments passing by
Then released an arrow to keep you bounded
I watched all our times together flashing before my eyes
And you glared at me as I watched you slowly die
I picked up the Shikon no Tama wondering
'Why do fools fall in love?'
Silently, I prayed that you went somewhere up above
I still loved you seconds before I died
But then hatred began to replace it inside
As I slipped into the nothingness of the other world
I still wondered, why do fools fall in love?
Don't people know that you can't keep a dove?
The bright shining light will disappear as well
Leaving one in the darkness to dwell
1~2~3~4~Author's Note Kaboom!~5~6~7~Review! (LOL I'm an idiot)
Author's Note: Ok! That wasn't a very good poem, but hey! I actually managed to to make one, and I'm normally not good at poems. Plus, I think I was in a rhymt mood at the time. Yeps! This was made like 2-3 weeks ago and now, I decided to share it with a lot of people. Review Please!! Let me know what you would rate it from 1- 10. I know this isn't my best poem, but still, can you please give me your ratings on it? -_0 I won't get too hurt if you say 1.just be honest? Comment on it? Something that will assure me that people actually read this "so-so" poem and is willing to help me out on how good I write my poems?
