Hiei is running in the Maiki. He is looking for demons that are after Kurama. It has been month since he last saw his lover.

A demon they had meet who was friends with Kurama tried to kill him. Hiei was now more careful on letting people near his fox. If something happened to Kurama Hiei would lose his soul.

Hiei is now in a tree thinking about Kurama. A single tear gem falls. He hates being away from him this long. H cannot wait to get back home.

All the demons are dead. Hiei has a few cuts and lost a little blood. He then leaves for home. The threat is gone and he must return. He will be happy to be in his lovers arms tonight.
