A/N: Song is "Endlessly" by Muse. I wrote this while listening to it, and it's the quickest fic I've wrote, so it's not my best.

Scott looked over to Jean who sat on the chair opposite him. He was thankful for his glasses for once as she couldn't see his eyes staring at her beauty. He was quite good at shielding the feelings he had for her. He had only known her for a few weeks and already had fallen for her but would never tell. Not right now.
It struck him as surprise when he first saw her. She took his breath away. He had feelings he never knew existed. He had never felt like this before. Not for anyone. He wanted her and would do anything in order to have her, for her to love him. Even give up his life for her. But not now.
Right now, in this library, he wanted to pour his heart out to her. Tell her everything about himself and his feelings for her. The dreams he had about her, about them being together and he never wanted to awake from them. If it wasn't reality, he wanted to dream. That was the closest he would get being together with her. But he remained silent. He took the opportunity just to admire her. Just watch her.
He was ready now. After ten minutes of staring, he couldn't take it. His feelings for her were about to erupt. He would not fail to be a good lover despite how young he was. It seemed right.
"Jean." He looked up from his book. She was asleep. Peacefully. He stood up removing his sweater and covered her with it. He placed a light kiss on her head. "You will know, one day, when the moment is right." He whispered and left.
