Yet another 'Trigun' poem by me. I really love the themes in this anime, it makes for good poetry.

End of Eden
Throughout my life,
I've followed your voice.
Never to kill,
Such was my choice.
But then came a man,
Who wanted to die.
Firm determination,
I saw in his eye.
Drawing my gun,
I put it to his head.
Closing my eyes,
I shot him dead.
Though he was evil,
And took many lives,
It wasn't my place
To correct his lies.
I'm sorry Rem,
I made a mistake.
From our dream of Eden,
I now must wake.
