Aya jerked his head up when he heard a loud banging on his door. It sounded like someone was kicking on it. He casually tossed his reading aside and cautiously moved to the door.

"Aya, let me in," a voice that was unmistakably Youji's came muffled through the door.

Aya opened the door only to have a highly agitated, young assassin push past him carrying a young woman.

"What have you done?" Aya questioned as he followed Youji to where he put the woman down on Aya's couch.

"I didn't know what to do with her," Youji said, looking at the girl, "she was at the house. She killed two men. I have no idea what she was doing there or why she killed them."

Aya watched the young woman contemplatively.

"Leave it to you to bring a woman home from a job," Aya muttered.

Youji glared at the red head.

"What was I supposed to do? Leave her there?"

"You can't leave her here," Aya said firmly.

"I didn't intend to."

The woman on the couch stirred while the two talked and Youji quickly turned his attention back to her. She looked squarely at him for a moment, then immediately tried to scramble up.

"Don't do that," Youji ordered, moving over to her, "you'll hurt yourself worse."

"Who are you?" the woman questioned.

"We could ask you the same," Aya said, his eyes narrowing, "I'm not exactly sure how you ended up in my home."

Youji glared at the other assassin and knelt down next to the woman.

"You fainted in front of me in the other house," he said, "do you remember the men?"

"I remember killing them," she said simply.

Youji and Aya quickly glanced at each other before looking back at their guest.

"My name is Shinomori Kaori," the woman said, "and those men killed my brother."
